:thumbup: Lester is now 13-0 vs the Orioles and Boston rarely has a full series without an offensive breakout. Plus their guy was 0-3.. just one of those "feel" things as someone who watches 100-120 Red Sox games a year. :D

Rare that I ever see this thread get to page 3....I agree totaly... I saw you post this and said to myself that this made a lot of sense.I won a bunch playing omaha 8b last night so I'm playing with some house money today.4 team Boston Parlay paying 12-1. Celtics and the Under plus the Bruins with the dodgers money line tonight. If it gets there I'll take the Padres +1.5 and hope for the middle.2 teamer Dodgers and Blue JaysBruins over shots for 1 unit.Bruins series 1 unit
 
Serious question: how can you go wrong Martingaling the Phillies this year?

The first bet is to simply make $100. With each loss, you double up and still try to come out $100 ahead.

Then start all over again.

I understand the heavy juice... but with that rotation, how many times will they lose even three games in a row?

I think it would work. If they did go on a 4 or more game losing streak, you could be betting over a grand just to get that hundo back though. Last season, the hawks had two 3 game losing streaks all yr, never more than that. That too, would have been juicy, but very, very profitable if you did it all yr. I like the white sox today. ML and RL. I like the over in the celts/heat game a little too.

Thought about doing it with teams who are almost always dogs... Pittsburgh, Kansas City, etc. But even though you are never laying juice, those teams could EASILY go a week without winning. I'd rather try this with a great team and lay the lumber each day.

I would wait until after the all-star break to do it. The Phils jsut don't care a whole bunch right now, going through the motions. after the all-star break they start to warm up for the playoffs

Thanks mo... I think I have a better idea anyway if I want to Martingale baseball.Instead of risking a losing streak on a good team who is laying -200 every night, I think it would be better to simply choose one team and play over or under the total on them day in and day out. Maybe pick a team with good bats and poor pitching and play the over every night. Or take a team with poor bats and good pitching and play the under every night. It HAS to come in within a few games (you would think :unsure: ) and the best part is that you're generally only laying -110.If anyone has thoughts on this I'd love to hear them.

The Phils are 18-9, .667 win percentage, puts them on pace to win 108 games....what happens after the all star break? Saying a team doesn't care is a little ridiculous mo.

yeah, certainly over-simplified statement. the record is a little high because the schedule has been easier, but i still think they are hard to depend on regularly before the all star breakThe Phils are 18-9, .667 win percentage, puts them on pace to win 108 games....what happens after the all star break? I like the Canucks on the road tonight. I was reading on the usa today preview that since they were up 3-0 on chicago, they've scored 9 goals in six games(4 more against hawks, 2 against preds). They are due for an outburst. I also think in a worst case scenario, they split in nashville. If it doesn't happen tonight, I double up next game. Parlaying them with the over as well.

Romped OKC in game 1

Game 2 was MUCH tighter than the score between the combination of horrible officiating, season-low shooting by the grizz and way above average shooting by the Thunder.

Game 3 is coming back to Memphis to play in front of a rabid crowd that sold out in 30 mins. The Grizz should be the beneficiaries of the home cooking this time and their shooting has nowhere to go but up.

I've been doing well fading golfers in the props section at sportsbook with finishing position. 4-1 last week and 3-0 the week before. probably jinxing myself, but will post my plays tomorrow. Certain players seem to perform well at the players champ, and others have trouble finding it. I've bet on Webb Simpson to win @ 80/1 right now. gonna play Cink and Sergio to win too(though he isn't showing the best form right now).

Webb dropped to 60/1. Cink and Serg have stayed the same 60/1 and 40/1. The Golf props on finishing position don't look as good to me as previous weeks. Watney's number jumped from over 20.5 last week to over 33.5 this week. A couple I'm playing, (i think there are 6 listed)Luke Donald over 15.5, and Adam Scott over 25.5.
