FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (9 Viewers)

Boxing:Paquiao by decision +254Pacman's power at this weight is a myth, you can drop Marquez but he has never been finished. now +170 at sb. is this an ok action play at this price or look elsewhere?
What is the number on the over for the fight?I like Pacman by decision down to about +145 or so.
i don't know boxing enough to know what "over for the fight" means. :bag:
Fight needs to go past 10 rounds and a minute 30 into Round 11. Basically betting on it to go to decision. I like that a little more simply because I scored the last two fights to Marquez. For basically the same price you get a pretty good arb on Manny dominating.
What did I do wrong here? I just bet $50-$150 on a manny 12 round decision. Why am I getting +300 but you all are saying +145? Is there a non 12 round decision?
You are making the correct play. I thought the line was high at +254. Cul was talking sb lines.+300 is a GREAT play

hah, i got it at +301 :P The only reason i mention is because i can't figure out why 5dimes would put the line at +301. Why not +300? I don't know if they are that exact to determine +301 as the best number, but they are the only site i use with strange number like that.

Pretty sure Bama is gonna destroy MSU tonight.. in the car right now, so not sure if Im going to be able to play it.
Glad you didn't play this, I had Miss State +18.5 so I was glad you thought it through. Thanks to you for the Hogs play, and to Guru for WVa play. Finished 6-1 today. :banned: :banned: :banned: Too bad like every week, I'll give it all back tomorrow. :bag:

Yeah, when I originally posted that; I had thought that Bama was at home for some reason. Once i looked at a few things, my senses took over.

Big Card this week:

Pittsburgh Steelers -4 -110 for Game: Cincy starts playing a much tougher schedule and PITT will travel well to Cincy.

Buffalo Bills +5½ -110 for Game : Buffalo shows up this week

Buffalo Bills / Dallas Cowboys Over 48 -110 for Game: I expect a shootout

Houston Texans / Tampa Bay Buccaneers Under 45½ -110 for Game: Two teams looking to run the ball = less plays = quck game = under

Tennessee Titans / Carolina Panthers Over 47 -110 for Game- two bad defenses and decent offenses

Seattle Seahawks +6½ -110 for Game: Baltimore due for a letdown - travling west after the PITT game

New York Giants +3½ -110 for Game: NYG finding their stride. They won't be able to run, but not sold on A. Smith and ELI is hot.

If you'll permit me to be gay for a minute... does it get any better than a Sunday morning in the fall?

Crisp, cool day. Leaves blowing around. Wake up, make a pot of coffee and a bagel. Masturbate in the shower (it doesn't have to be a Sunday in the fall for this), set my lineup to dominate yet another overmatched FF opponent, and then figure out the best method of putting my bookie's three boys through college.

For everyone's entertainment...

Jerome Simpson o2.5 rec (fading all Steelers DBs not named Ike Taylor who will shadow Green all day)

Brent Celek o4 rec (both on the news of Desean Jackson not playing, and the Cardinals' swiss cheese pass defense)

Jason Avant o3.5 rec (ditto)

And now I will say a prayer that GooRoo likes these plays :)

Can't disagree with any of em  The wind in cincy makes me pause a bit, maybe Caldwell is a better play?

NFL Leans

TEN +170 / Ten +4 - I like Ten here already and if Cam's shoulder hampers him, I love the Titans.

IND +150 - I don't think the Colts go 0-16 and this is there best shot to avoid that fate

CIN +175 - I think Cincy may be the better team at this point. That was a huge loss for Pit last week and while I like to usually play a team to bounce, I don't see it here

NO/ATL o49.5 - Expecting a shootout here

Det +125 - Three weeks ago the Lions would have been -200

Mia/Was u37.5 - just feel like this will be low scoring

SEA +250 defintiely a longshot. threw in some cheap parlay round robins as a multiplier

DAL -6 - Dallas needs a strong win to make a play for the division and I think this game sets the up to do that

AZ +14 - just too many points im

Early tease - TB +10/TEN +10/ NO o43.5 / STL o31

Yeah, that's my only concern as well. Thanks man! What worried me about Caldwell was the 3.5, but honestly, I could see him, Simpson, and Gresham all getting around 4 catches.

Caldwell at 3 looks a lot better for sure. What are your thoughts on the Steelers passing game? Is this a game where Mendenhall gets 18+ carries??

This is tough one. The Steelers clearly have become a passing team, using the pass to set up the run. However, I think a lot of that has been predicated on the matchups. They had the perfect gameplan against NE and they knew they couldn't run on Baltimore/were playing behind that whole game. No lie, before I read your post and as I was setting my fantasy lineups, my gut feeling is that Ben has a quiet game (less than 250 yards), the Steelers go up early (10-0ish), and lean on the run the rest of the game only to squeak out a 20-17 win. Mendy may not get a lot of yards, but I see 20+ carries (even though he only has 13 in each of the last three games). Just a hunch.I thought about playing Ben u295.5 and Miller u55.5, but I don't have any money left in my account after playing the other three I posted.

The Bengals have had the stingiest run defense this year on a per carry basis. Unless they go up early like you said they are going to have to throw the ball a lot. On the other hand, Cincy pass D is pretty good so the Steelers will have to pick their poison.Edit: Just saw the wind in Cincy is 40+ mph - looks like the Steelers will be running the ball a lot either way.

Added Big Ben U280.5 to my ticket too in addition to the previous plays I posted. GL guys.
