Any good sites out there that give good previews for College basketball teams? Any thing that would be good for wagering purposes?

USATODAY.com odds page gives good sampling of lines as well as statistics for both teams, but I am looking for something a little bit more. Maybe quick write-ups about how the team is currently playing.

free with espn mag sub which can be had for $2.99 for a year. Blue ribbon does their own publication but espn insider includes it now. Breaks down every CBB team, pretty incredible the amount of info

CBB:

1u E. Michigan -2.5

1u Arizona St +4

1u Maryland -1.5 (Worst team we've had in years)

1u Valpo pk

YTD 17-10 63% +6.9u

Might as well chime-in on the CSU/TCU slaughter tomorrow, what the hell...

CSU is trotting out a little lamb to be barbecued in Texas. The freshman played for the first time last week, after an injury to the starter, and he didn't do too bad, but this is a whole 'nother world. They will try to run as much as they can but I doubt they'll be able to and it will get ugly anyway so that will be abandoned pretty early. Don't be encouraged that they were able to run on SDSU - they suck against the run. Granted, this is a huge letdown game for TCU after the Boise State upset but still. The only thing the Rams have going for them is their best player finally returns (broke ankle in second game - on special teams :wall: ) but how effective will he be? He's from Texas so this is big for him and I've read that he's given the team a little spark/inspiration. In fact, if it wasn't for him, I'd be putting like 50 million on TCU. I guess there are quite a few players from Texas on CSU, so maybe they will show some pride tomorrow, I don't know...

Anyway, those are some of the things I can think of right now. Last year, they totally quit down the stretch and so I am kind of expecting the same thing, especially with the recent heartbreaking losses. So yeah, obviously my fade radar is on high here, haha, but haven't decided for sure yet...

FWIW, it's looking like my system is going to have a multi-unit play on TCU as well

Long time, fellas. Tough times for Penn State Alums, enough said...

I'm going quite heavy with Iowa St. tonight as a 4 TD (-28) home dog. Iowa St. is a different football team with Jared Barnett playing QB. Much more run oriented, less mistake prone, warm and getting hotter. Oklahoma St.'s a helluva team, but I don't think this sets up for a blowout here.

Backing that up with a tease pairing the UNDER of the MAC Game. Toledo's recent poor defensive play drives this total up, but much of that was due to the impact of a 2-game suspension of their best defensive player LB Rancifer, who is back tonight. His absence had bench guys on the field, and 2 other starters playing out of position. With the tease, the UNDER is at 81. I think 74 is high as it is, given Toledo's defensive improvement.

I might play an Iowa St./Toledo/Under 3 way parlay as well, if it shouts at me before 8 PM.

Good Luck!

Very OT: I hate this uniform combination on Oklahoma St. from head to toe.

:nerd:

I do like the "flat" paint they use on their helmets though, as opposed to the sparkly crap all the other teams use.

You're right about the flat black, dig the OSU helmets big-time. And don't mind the rest either as it's much better than they used to be. Iowa State on the other hand, their improvements suck. Guys, you're not SC.

Why in the hell Colorado State can't understand that saving money with gawd damm Riddell or whoever it is, actually costs the program in the long run, I will never know. :wall: We could have some good ones too, especially with that helmet.

Oooh, good. Well, that settles it.

33 and a hook is a lot of points and TCU really isn't what TCU has been in the past. CSU must be terrible.

I like Nebraska +3.5 tomorrow in a game sure to end with a one score difference. I rarely bet against my teams unless I see something too good to pass up, this is one of those instances. Nebraska is physical and they'll pound the ball down Michigan's throat and Hoke still doesn't understand how to use DRob. I probably would go Nebraska moneyline, but again, I just don't do those things.

Have 1.5u on K-State +9, they are better coached and have more to play for despite not being anywhere close athletically to Texas.

Want to bet USC +14.5 but will wait and I'd also like to get an early game tail. gllllll :banned:

Uh, yeah, dude, we suck. And like I said, gonna have to play this freshman QB, and lost a very good lineman. Not to mention other lineman that were already out. Best player coming back but he won't be close to 100%. Don't have the depth is the problem. Then the part about two rough losses and getting throttled by BSU, they are about to quit like they did last year. We got outscored like 70-something to 7 in the last two games last year and I see something similar unfolding. And those were against rivals. Disgraceful. Only difference this year (in the effort I expect) might be the coach fighting for his job. They fold again like that and he's definitely out, which I am hoping for, btw.

I didn't know it was that high but in my head I figured 13 and still was thinking Oregon. I could see Oregon rolling them. They are going to try and embarrass SC. Didn't they do it 2 years ago up there? I think so, that's what I'm seeing again.

I'm on the OSU over 31 1/2 at half here, got a 15 1/2 point middle, #### it. Plus, OSU is gonna have to try and run it up.

Put a unit on Brandon Marshall +1500 to lead in receiving this week. Welker isn't listed and Marshall could have a big game against the Bills.

Took some +3.5 +130 4q at sb. No difference between +3 and +4 here as Iowa St not kicking any fgs.
[thought bubble]"Who will care about what I'm now going to type?"[/thought bubble]
Gets some people to think about whether the 3 and 4 in a quarter down by 7 make any difference? I don't think so, hence me taking the +130.
Just giving you a hard time. I actually took you off of ignore for the first time in 9 months due to your good behavior.

Thanks, your the best. Honestly, I just don't have enough time and don't care that much to post here anymore. I do check the thread consistently though.

You can opt to view individual posts, which I did from time to time. Each time, he was non-douchy.
