FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Man I got hammered and had to take a nap, that hasn't happened to me in a long time.

10-2 on college football since Thursday and I'm not giving it all back tomorrow. Well...maybe a little. Good team effort this week, usually my biggest CFB betting week of the year (besides bowl season). :banned:

my goal is to not make a bet tomorrow and just concentrate on fantasy.

Barring a USC meltdown, I should finish the day up 12 units :banned:

Seems like it was a great day for all!

Actually I forgot Va Tech, 11-2. Holy ####, that is nice and over the years this week has been good to me.

I'm with Tiger, I'm staying away from NFL betting tomorrow. I have a shit ton of yardwork and stuff to fix tomorrow so I won't be watching anyway, best to leave that ##### alone.

I dont want to get my hopes up, but I did say earlier that these sort of things happen in 3's. I still got 11 points to give in the 4Q. Not bad considering we had 28 points on the board so early.

Texans are gonna put a whuppin on the Jags today. Jags missing 5 of their opening day defensive starters. Houston puts up 30 easily which is about 19 more than they need to win.

Cleveland Browns +7 -120: Cincy is beatup after playing Pitt and Balt in back to back weeks. Cle may even win outright IMHO.

Houston Texans -6: Jax is not going to be able to move the ball and Hou, even without Schaub, gets AJ back and will run at will;

Chicago Bears +3 -115: Oak is going to struggle offensively here and I think CHI can do enough to keep this within the number;

Chicago Bears / Oakland Raiders Under 41: U, nough' said;

Washington Redskins / Seattle Seahawks Over 37½: Seattle Secondary is suspect and Washington is not defensive juggernaut either. I think we get over the number on a couple of big plays;

I am also leaning PITT this evening although that is a bunch of points.......

Is Carolina -3 a trap??? Looks too damn easy, am I missing anything?
The last time Carolina won on the road was in Week 16 in 2009. Indy is a truly desperate team and this game represents INDY's best chance to avoid 0-16. It would not surpirse me if Carolina won, but then again, I would not be shocked if Indy won either.

All other teams have at least 2 wins. The Colts can avoid the shame of an 0-16 season and still secure the #1 pick if they win once. This is the best chance to do that.

Great stuff in here yesterday......sorry I missed all the fun. I did get to witness my alma mater claim their first ever State Football Championship though. Then I got shtty drunk with some friends. Good times. And just Wow to that ncstate cover. A festivus for the restivus. Thanks DD. Go Bears and under.

Morning gents.

In addition to the Bears/Raiders U we've been talking about all week, I'm also on Seattle -3 for a max play.

(Max for ME... not the house limit. I don't have Donald Trump/lumpy money.)

The Seahawks D has been playing lights out and Grossman can be a turnover machine. I'm comfortable laying 3 in this spot.

Kicking it old school today. Pick the best regular bet I can find and put a handfull of units on it. No Wong teasers, no beting 10 things and hope to hit 7 of them, no betting the fourth WR on the Patriots over 1.5 receptions.

Oakland/Chi Under 41 - 4 Units.

Anybody like BUF today? I know they've been awful the past 3 weeks and lost Jackson, but should the Jets be giving ANYONE 9.5 right now?
I like Buf today :bag:also like indy +3.5 and cincy -6.5 and over car/ind 46.5kind of a crappy slate of games, i'm not really looking forward to any of them

This is an awful card. Luckily I have a HUGE fantasy game to concentrate on. :nerd:

Current leans for my teaser play today....

HOU -0.5 - Should Roll over Jax

NYJ -3.5 - Hate betting the Jets but the Bills are BAD right now

NO -1.5 - System play AND New Orleans is in the Dome where thy're undefeated this year

CHI +9 - Bears are a very solid team. Only concern is Oak is wildly inconsistent and could put up a Gem (Also Cutler is out)

EDIT: Final Play

HOU pk / NYJ -3 / NO -1 in 6.5 Teaser by 2's and 3 for 1.5u each

Tailing Tate o10.5-130 for 1u

HOU -6.5 for 1u

Played Buffalo, also love Seattle as mentioned yesterday. Haven't touched NE yet, Philly has ###### me both ways so many times this year. Also on the Tate prop(thanks GR).
