FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

NFC Champs:

NO +250

NYG +1000

SB Champs:

NO +500

NYG +2000

Matchups:

NYG v. NE +1900

NO v. NE +500

:coffee:

(side note: these are at sportsbook. If I get serious and put some of these in, obviously need to shop around)

(side note: I am not a NYG homer. That said, I watch a lot of their games. Could see them surging here if Bradshaw can have a decent game or two).
I think the Giants lose straight up to ATL :bag: Atl is a terrible matchup for them, I think they matchup better with every other team in the NFC
I see where you are coming from as Jones and White could be in for nice days against that secondary if ATL can slow down the pass rush. Turner does not scare anybody anymore and the Giants might not need to respect the run as much as they might against other clubs. Thing about ATL is that have not been great outside/on the road where they have lost @ chicago, and @ TB (granted that was early in the season). Later in the season they lost @ Houston (not idea if the roof was open or not) and only beat Carolina by one score after Carolina jumped out to a 16 point halftime lead. You very well could be correct, and you probably know more than I do, but I don't see this as a "terrible" matchup for the Giants. I think the truly bad matchup for them would be at NO, indoors, on the turf.

FWIW, The weekend looks like a high of 43 on Sunday with a 30% chance of rain. I would think the worse the conditions the better that is for NY.

Lots of rumors about Jeff Casteel gone after the game to join RR in Arizona as DC.

Probably wont affect the game too much, but I thought I would pass it along.

Considering NFL playoff wagers. It looks like bodog.com vanished? What site is everyone using. I keep hearing US accounts are now cut-off.

I just checked out the Laker thread again out of morbid curiosity.

What a Laker circle jerk. Has to be the worst thread on FBG

Ok I'm done now.

After the last two nights, I'm trying to figure out the most creative way we can lose the Clemson -3 bet.

How about this:

Game goes into the 16th OT. Clemson gets the ball first. The first three downs, there are perfect passes to wide open receivers in the end zone. Each pass is dropped. 4th down... FG is good! The play is reviewed, and overturned, as it actually went wide right by ten feet.

West Virginia takes over. First play, a Clemson linebacker picks off a pass, gets down to WVU's 5-yard line, where he is tripped up by a squirrel, causing him to fumble. The ball is picked up by a 450-lb. Mountaineer offensive lineman, who then rumbles 95 yards, untouched, for the game-winning score.

That scenario would surprise me less than anything I just lived through.
As I hit submit on my ticket, I got that stomach turning vomit tingly feeling that Clemson gets a safety on the last play of the game and only win by two.

Don't they make you stop being able to kick a FG or PAT at some point in college OT, but I get what you are saying.

:blackdot: : 2012 NFL season double unit size on teasers in december
lumpy - what was the total teaser record for the season?
I have absolutely no clue. I only know that 2 weeks swept, week 15(6 teams) and week 17(10 teams)The middle weeks of this NFL season were completely dead for teasers, one week I didn't even play any.2 sweeps and no real disaster weeks is enough to make it a very profitable year. A $50/teaser leg bettor should have made ~8-10k if they were betting +180 3 teamers.
I need to do the three teamers next year. Still getting my feet wet on teasers (just started playing them last year, and following the rules this year) in general but I am terrible at sides and totals and will play nothing else next year in the regular season unless I get a hot RN TT play.
I'm the same way...will make sure I have some money set aside for teasers next year. ARe 3 teamers +180 at sportsbook?

The over is up to 64 tonight. Glad I'm in at 62 for 4 uinits (I'm stepping it up here at the end) I also have Clemson -3 for 2 units. Qucik note on the W Va games i saw this year... they are a below average 1H team, but they are a very good second half team.
I think I'm gonna play the halftime total also depending on the first half. Seems to me the first half might not be firework filled, but both teams should put a good amount of points on the board in the 2nd half. Off the total since I have so much riding on the side.
don't forget the impending overtime

This graded out as my biggest play of the year so far, got pushed down twice today to 1 and both times fought back to 2/2.5 and then right before gametime someone really important hit it all the way to -1

Just flipped over to the start of the bulls game @ detroit. It looks like there are 400 people there in attendance, seriously. They panned out to the shole stadium, it was crazy. I've never seen anything like it in a pro game.

Long ago way down in the jungle

Someone got an inspiration for a tune

And that jingle came from the jungle

Became famous mighty soon

Thrills and chills it sends through you

Hot so hot it burns you too

Though it's just the growl of the Tiger

It was written in a syncopated way

More and more they yell for the Tiger

Everywhere you go today, they're shoutin:

Where's that Tiger?

Where's that Tiger?

Where's that Tiger?

Where's that Tiger?

Hold that Tiger!

Hold that Tiger!

Hold that Tiger!
