BRONG
FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY
Only thing I got today is the Clips. Portland's 3rd in a row, and yes I remember (and like) the contrarian side of that which was previously mentioned in here. But it's also their 5th in 7 days, including 3 on the road, so that's gotta be rough...and the Clips are pretty physical. Clips back-to-back is nothing, playing Wash last night and it's a short trip anyway.
I really like where this team keeps going. They are not at all content just finally being out of the cellar and respected (last year). These guys believe and play with a chip on their shoulder. CP is ####### perfect for them; he IS them. And the veterans are totally onboard with mentoring the young guys. There was some hustle in the game last night that you would see from college kids, not NBA guys. From all accounts they love hanging out together and are avoiding clubs and #### (for the most part). Kind of refreshing. I'm saying all this not because of tonight's bet, but more as stuff you want to know betting for or against them. I know most of you know it already, but maybe some don't realize the degree to which they are committed. It's there. In fact, the more I type the more angry I become at the Lakers not getting Chris Paul. The guy's unbelievable; I didn't realize just how good he is. Watching him get pissed off at Blake, take him aside, with the game well in hand no less, is impressive. I didn't know about that part of him. And Blake digs it. What an incredible chain of events for them to get the *******.
The irony is off the charts.
That's all I got these days... I'm only following Mountain West hoops, the Lakers (long-time fan, even though I fade them a lot), and the Clippers of course. No hockey, except checking the Kings a little. Paying some attention to golf now, in anticipating of the Masters.
Beer 5 already, as you can see.
