FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

I'm looking for a nice parlay and one of those PLs was going to be in it. I already had the Stars penciled in. thanks
I probably like the Oilers PL more. Budaj sucks and Montreal has nothing to play for while Colorado is coming off a couple wins and still has a shot at the playoffs.
Thanks...those damn Canucks are calling my name too..they have killed me lately though.

Darts: Raymond Van Barneveld -150 vs James Wade .5U

Barney remains unbeaten today.
This hasn't been graded yet, but it doesn't look good:
Elsewhere, James Wade moved off the foot of the table after claiming an 8-6 victory over Raymond van Barneveld.

Wade looked to be heading for a comfortable victory as he moved 6-1 ahead, with an 11-darter in the seventh leg following checkouts of 110 and 154 in the fifth and sixth respectively.

Van Barneveld then mounted a spirited comeback to leave himself with a chance of salvaging a draw, but Wade held his nerve to round out the win in the 14th leg.

F'ing Marquette...and F'ing Kent St. too, getting backdoored with seconds to spare.

Minor bloodbath.

Chasing with New Mexico -14, and UAB ML (+120).

Good Luck!

Had the over 5 in both the Sens/Rangers and Jackets/Kings.....3 goals in the 1st period of both....PUSH and a LOSS :wall:

Ugh. All apologies. 0 and 2 on the 2 games I thought I knew this week. Haven't watched hoops much this year and it shows. And the one team I do watch I have totally backwards apparently.....but at least they are going to the dance, good for them. And I'm sure some of the savvy ones in here were able to fade the situation, so that's good/smart. Think I will focus more on the beach instead of the madness. GLLLL!!!! :banned:

Is Texas in a "win and they're in" situation tonight? Heard that somewhere..
They certainly have to win tonight to have a shot. Not sure that one win is enough
Hey, WN. Credit where credit's due. Nice call on Lehigh yesterday. I wound up having a nice, profitable day. Not so much if I amped up my Bucknell play. Your unwavering support for your side kept me in check, though, to my benefit. Props.Added some Oregon -3.5 to my comeback bid.

miracle win for the Stars. fell behind 3-2 with less than 4 minutes to go in the game. then tied it up with a little over a minute left on a replay review after the ref initially waived it off. killed off a full penalty in overtime and then won in the 5th round of the shootout. awesome game to watch.

GB Kari Lehtonen.

Can someone tell me why the CSU line did not move as much as 1/2 point with the news that their third leading scorer and only other "big" man (6'6", haha) was ruled out before the game? I'm just curious. Because from everything I read -- and I'm all over the Rams message board -- it was definitely "breaking" news.

Also, check out what Pomeroy had to say, fascinating (taken from a CSU board poster:

"I talked to Ken on Monday. He is so impressed by Hornung. Ken blogged this about the Rams just now:

The Rams are short (#339 in effective height) when healthy, but they got shorter when 6-6 Greg Smith tweaked an ankle in practice yesterday. A thin Rams rotation got thinner, but the seven-man rotation that Tim Miles put on the floor turned in CSU’s best effort away from Moby Arena this season.

It helped that TCU would miss 18 of their 20 three-point attempts, giving the defensively-challenged Rams some help on that end of the floor. It also helped that 6-5 Pierce Hornung is an offensive-rebounding machine. The dimunitive Rams had 11 offensive boards as a team, and Hornung had nine of them. The other two were team rebounds for which Hornung’s activity was directly responsible. When Hornung was on the floor, CSU rebounded 54% of its own misses. During the ten minutes he was on the bench, CSU rebounded zero of its misses."

Hornung is ####### Kurt Rambis!

Going to try riding the Alcorn State train.

Really like St. Joseph's today -2 v St Boneventure...

Have to look at Southern Miss. again, -2.5 vs a Marshall team that won in TRIPLE OT last night. So. Miss won in OT, but that game was a 1PM start. Marshall just has to be feeling the effects after playing almost an extra half of ball. Two key starters for Marshall played over 50 minutes!
