what's the best place to look at history on these things?Looking at Covers, I see numbers that made this look pretty good to me.Last 5 games:Red Wings offense: 27.6 shots/gameSharks defense: 28.2 shots/game (this includes 3 games that went into OT, but 4 were on the road).at home all season, the Sharks have averaged 27.8 shots/game allowed.on the road all season, the Red Wings have averaged 32.1 shots/game.but they haven't been the same of late with 24 shots or less in 3 of their last 4 games. They get Datsyuk back tonight but lose Franzen and are still without Lidstrom. Looks like Sharks have only been shorthanded 7 times in their last 5 games so they hopefully will stay out of the box.Red Wings are traditionally one of the best teams in the league for SOG but this number seemed a little high to me. I never paid much attention to SOG before now, but took my chances on this over the Preds one given the difference in juice.

espn - team - schedule It shows the whole season and the trend of SF/SA.I see the trend you speak of, but you need to factor the tallent. The last team as good as Det they played they let in mid 30s to StL. Like I said, I don't hate it but I dont love it either. And yes the -130 is a steep price so we better be right.

Charles Barkley saved a trip to vegas for me like 8 years ago, and I have noticed how right he has been ever since. I was out for a weding and I was down $2000 on the second day of a 6 day trip (with a $3K budget). I slowed it down and was at the mirage sportsbook where I bet a baseball game for $50 so I could drink on the house. One of the Western finals games was coming on, I think it was Lakers Kings and the Kings were up 2-0... maybe it was the other way around or a different team. Anyway Charles Barkey said 15 minutes before tipoff "If I was in Las Vegas right now I'd put my house and everything else I own on the Lakers". and they kind of broke his balls about it and then he came out and said it again that there was a 0% chance that the Lakers were going to lose. So I went to the ATM took out $2K and put it on the Lakers. Sure enough they covered by like 20. Had a sick craps run and I came home a huge winner.Ever since I have noticed that Barkley really does tend to be right way more then he is wrong. So with that.... sorry everyone who is with me on New Mexico.

After I posted that Baylor went on a 27-9 run to cover and win me the parlay. I have not been doing well lately, really happy about this one and I'm gonna end up having a very good day. GREAT if Lobos can rally.
