FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

Damn, was gonna ask you if I could cut n paste that into the Homeland thread, then I saw your comment about that.

Very well. :kicksrock:

Interesting stuff.

-Clare Danes character would have not only been fired, but buried by now. CIA doesn't have a lot of loose cannons. They have a lot of introspective and intelligent people who tell their wives and kids they work at the Department of Agriculture. For field work these people don't talk to anyone not associated with their people, I never got a word out of these people when I ran across them. When I was around they spoke to the people they knew, that was it. She's a ####### nut, she would be put behind a desk as an analyst if she was that good but they wouldn't let her talk to anyone.
i've never seen the show, but a buddy of mine from college works for the CIA and has for awhile. it really is funny talking with him, guy can't stand being asked anything about it. he had a buddy of his hang out once with the us, and this guy did like to talk it up a bit. my buddy was pissed at him, but he is a middle eastern guy so he has job security. the people this guy mingled with was crazy, and his quality of life in that part of the world is not bad gig at all.now i have to watch my buddy doesn't all of a sudden knock on my door and smack me in the back of the head for typing all this :scared:

I love the Lions +3. Everybody who I've talked to loves the Texans. Am I missing something here?
yup. I think people are making a big deal about the Jax game last week, but i think that is the case of a team over-looking a team. Houston never gets much national attention, and they seem to want to be able to showcase when they can. I know that is a real dumb reason, but I like how Jax tested Houston like they did, and you had Andre Johnson go off. I don't think Detroit has a chance to slow down that offense. I imagine Detroit may be able to throw a little on Houston, but that will only work if Stafford doesn't get killed in the process. What makes you think Detroit has a chance. The +3 is legit, it may be a close game, but i really think Houston wins this outright. And i don't know what people are seeing to make me think differently. Sure, Detroit played a division opponenent close at home last week, but i am not sure what else Detroit has that could convince you

-A lot of the military aspects are out of sync with rank, time and place, responsibility, etc-Locations are disjointed, he's in No Virginia and then he's at Langley then he's on a jog in front of Capitol in what seems like 20 minutes of real time. Also when he was in Germany he called his wife when it was light outside in Germany, but the clock in the U.S said 9 or 10 an d it was dark. Germany is +6 eastern time, this would not be possible. -CIA too active in the U.S. which is highly illegal. They never seem to worry about this or address it -Elite Hamas/Hezbollah SWAT team blows into shop and blows away five CIA agents, how this was resolved at any level was unsatisfactory. -CIA guy takes an AK shot to the stomach then is working a 14 hour shift the next day-Clare Danes character would have not only been fired, but buried by now. -Brody breaking into CIA guys safe, very egregious. The security around top secret files is 100% accountability, shared space or files where someone is working every second of every day. Also the black dude is a Deputy CIA Director right? The Marine Major guy said something to the effect of "GS-15 politics," a Deputy CIA director would be an SES not a GS. -Border guy in Lebanon who searched CIA dude's diplomatic attache bag is highly, highly unlikely. Knew what he was looking for, knew who dude was, knew it is against international law. -Guys who showed up at terrorist wife's house in Lebanon because somehow they knew she was the leak 8 minutes after the CIA tried to take out terrorist leaders -The whole thing with Brody, how he's being handled, the politics, and the the cherry on top of the sundae Brody sneaking the bomb into a secured area. They would have debriefed him better than they did before he came back also and the whole thing with his sniper buddy was so crazy it's hard to list all the problems with that scenario. Look, brainwashing Americans is not the easiest thing to do. We are given a lot of personal freedoms from a young age and develop or individuality. Maybe we'd do what it took to get out of that circumstance, but turning two U.S. Marines to destroy America is a bit hard for me to believe. People can be bought a lot easier than people can be completely brainwashed, that really takes a great deal of time and effort and gives too much credit to fundamentalist types. This assumes they have logic, most of them have proven they do not. -Cell phones: you can't take cell phones into classified meetings like the one where they were watching the terrorist op. Not even the President can take his cell phone in those places, all cell phones are outside the door handled by aides (for very senior officials but most people have to surrender all electronic devices at the security point). Also a cell phone will not work in the bowels of the Pentagon, won't even work on the outer areas. I will leave there sometimes and my texts will come in a mile after leaving. Brody sending a text from a Langley terrorist nerve center is the most obnoxious thing I've ever seen on TV, Honey Boo Boo and Jersey Shore included-Muslims don't have women running interference on terrorist ops, it's just not in their culture. Ever hear of a female Al-Qaeda mastermind or facilitator? They are rare, seems like the TV reporter chick is a huge spoke in the wheel. -That's off the top of my head. I find 20 things wrong with each show, probably the only reason I watch. -Stuckey got two of three of his early picks right, failed on SIU Edwardscissorhandsvile and the late ones which I didn't play. 3-1 day for me. :banned: I squeezed that altogether so it's hard to read, don't re-post that because it's just gonna give me a headache arguing with people who read four tom Clancy books. I hope they enjoy it, maybe they'll appreciate all the things people do to protect the country which does happen without anyone knowing any different. Like I said before, wait until the classified documents of this era are declassified. Gonna blow people's minds.
Claire danes in one scene uses a wash cloth to wipe off her vag after a presumed romp with some random dude. In real life, she would have used baby wipes.

Thanksgiving Day:

Locked in Cowboys -3

I will be looking to tease the Lions at +3 1/2 and if the Jets get to above a TD I'll be looking to tease them at +7 1/2 or better if it gets there.

Real Madrid vs Man City today

Gonna be a goal fest

Wait until lineups are announced just in case, but City HAS to win and RM is just flat out better then them...recipe for a 4-2 game imo

No real leans on this game, but I think I'd just play Madrid to win straight up. They're one of the best counter-attacking teams in the world, and City will have to pour people forward to attempt to score.

Can you give us a hint? :whistle:Good post. I enjoy the show, but I've been under the assumption that many liberties were taken. It is what it is.

Only 8 people showed up to calculus today so I recommended those of us who did get bonus points. The professor agreed and we will now receive 5 bonus points on the next exam for showing up today. My classmates love me now. My goal was to somehow exceed 100 points on an exam and now I have that opportunity.

Was it -130 on the other side too? There are usually multiple playable totals in soccer. 2.5 is the most common, but SB offers 1.5 and 3.5 as well. Sometimes 4.5.

He wishes. And she is hilarious about it. She talks isht about him all the time. The other day she mentioned directly to him that she had slept so well the night before. And that her troublesome neck had somehow been cured as a result, when in actuality she had spent the night with me.

I dont think so...My book only offered (3)Which, btw....I cant stand BetDSI and its lack of betting options...

1-0 at half...Should be a bunch more, but still in decent shape.

If City doesnt get one quick game is going to open up big time. Not really like RM already wasting time.

Need some advice.

I bought contracts from the orange bowl that allows me to buy two tickets to the national championship game. I paid out $700 to buy contracts to buy 2 seats so long as ND, USC, Ore and K-State Made the NC game. Obviously last weekend was a horrible weekend for me because if two teams made it I would have had 4 tickets. That said all is not lost. I was able to sell the K State and Ore Contracts for $125 earlier in the week so I'm in it for $575. As the market is going now I could sell the ND contracts for $850. Thing is though I really want to go to the game, but I don't want to be out $575 for nothing.

Hedge advice? $250 USC Money line? $575 USC +6.5 and "play for a middle".

Folks/friends/ladies/germs:

We've got a lot of work to do to get this thread to 1000 pages by January 1st.

What I'd like to see have happen is to everyone count down a top 10 something in here one night, one post at a time. Countdown anything you want.

Cereals.

Albums.

Dumps you took.

Bad beats you've taken.

Women you bedded.

Pick a date, make sure you're here for the entire night and pick a topic and I'll update the OP with the schedules. Feel free to pick 2 dates...maybe 3. TIA

I'd like to start setting up a schedule here:

Thursday 11/22: Poster / Topic

Friday 11/23: Poster / Topic

Saturday 11/24: Poster / Topic

Sunday 11/25: Poster / Topic

Monday 11/26: Poster / Topic

JB, when we start to wreck shop in BO2, we can post our stats. I'm sure they will be fairly consistent like 4 kills, 12 deaths each

HOFSTRA +7 -110

220/200

On the opposite side on this one, bmj. I think Manhattan needs George Beamon in there for them to win. GL
