Does the system involve wagering your cash on a team without their starting QB (insert rookie), starting RB (insert rookie), best WR is Jason Avant, and a team that has quit on its coach vs a team fighting for a wild card spot? When was the last time Cincy was a road favorite? Boomer Esiason era?

Jeremy Maclin is pretty good and Avant may have had the catch of the year. But doesn't all that scare you that they are only 5 point favorites? On paper shouldn't the spread be bigger? We'll see. I wouldn't lay money on the Eagles as a fan but seems like Vegas is up to something.

I gotcha, misunderstood ya, as I usually do my bad. I'm tempted to go Cincy/under but I'm fighting the urge.

I threw some money on the under. Thursday night and a rookie QB. Eagles starting to play pass better so the run will be exposed. On an unrelated note, is there any math on betting the favorite and the under. I would assume that if you are going under, it would make more sense to go dog in a low scoring game or if you are going favorite, they might get the over alone. But I could be completely off on this.

Not sure on percentages, but that's usually a rule I would go by. I just don't see the Birds scoring much. I was thinking 28-13 final.

Yeah I doubt it. On paper, they have more talent but a lot of it depends on their next coach. This was the same front office who drafted a 26 year old fireman who is now being benched for a guy who was on his couch for the first half of t he season.

- NW hasnt won a bowl game since 1948- MSU has won their last 5 bowl games- MSU is familiar with the Gator bowl, whipping Mich 52-17 in 2010- NW has never played in the Gator bowl. New surroundings- SEC > Big10- Jacksonville has many more SEC fans than Big10 fans

I think they will be alright. Will be interesting to see the impact of a new coach, crazy how much the team has seeminlgy turned around the last few weeks. They couldn't have quit any more than they had in the N.O. game and a few in that stretch, and it seems that most of the team (still not sure about Maclin), including the DL, is playing like they should have been all year and competing with the mid-high level teams in the league. They have a lot of good youth, what they really need is to get a full healthy OL back next year. I can't imagine any team winning more than 5-6 games in a year if they only have 1 starting OL in there, and some spots you got the #3 guy
