FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

:lmao: I'd rather have Quinn, Batch, or Lindley than Dirty Sanchez.
i'd rather have Tebow than Sanchez
We talking for as a quarterback or a boyfriend?
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:Shank!!!!! Come on dirty...I take it all back!
Not a huge fan of Mike and Gruden, but he called that right. "This is the way this game should end, and the way the Jets season should end"ETA: Long live the Jets under 8.5 wins for the season, and the Titans over 7 wins

I agree, wow, they blow! How are they even 6-8?
good question. There defense played pretty well considering, but if I was on one of those teams that the Jets got their 6 wins from I would be shaking my head. A lotETA: The Jets not scoring a TD at the end of the game helped my acct. a lot. Pretty happy about that, who would have thought my dopey un24.5 bet would have won

Brooklyn -210

Lakers -970

Purdue -1600

VCU -2200

Wake -1030

Wyoming -430

Nebraska -350

UCLA -1030

Cal -890

Pays +284 (although backing the Lakers, Wake, Nebraska, and two Pac-12 teams is a pretty dumb idea)

The way we are running around here with the chalk parlay, we should start playing it from the other side and bet the dog ML at plus odds.

Yeah. It looks like Las Vegas opened the line at PK and offshore books subsequently opened at 2.5. On that same website go look at the Vegas Insider Consensus line movements.

Spurs are in a bad situation playing Denver in this spot w the long road trip, B2B, etc.. But after last night I am putting my faith in Pop. And I think Manu goes tonight. I just think the line opened way too short in Denver's favor. And all I see is love for the Nugs everywhere. Definitely going out on a limb and it probably would have been safer to wait. But aside from that I'm pretty confident in the accompanying chalky ML's :)

And I can't really verify this, but according to twitter the Spurs are 22-13 ATS as underdogs over the last 3 seasons. link
While watching OKC and SAS last night I remember them stating Spurs playing 8th game in 12 nights. This will be 9 of 13. So be careful. Pop has been known to rest his best players at the end of exhausting trips.

Last night the Spurs bench players got it to within 8 points but he never subbed the starters back in.
Yep as a big Thunder fan I was happy to see this. Seemed like a good time to let the starters back in with 3-4 min left to see if they could finish the run after going down 17 or 18 and chopping it down to 8. GL!

If there's a total in the Nebraska/Jax St. game and it's anywhere near 130 kill the under. Bovada still doesn't have one up.

Betonline is the only book that will have a total posted for that game and it's 109

Poinsetta BowlAmid a late season quarterback controversy two quarterbacks have been sharing first-team reps at practice for BYU. And if both are healthy they will have the opportunity to use the Warhawk formation with a lefty and righty on the field at the same time. Regardless, both senior QBs will probably see the field. SDSU has had time to prepare and I am fading the two quarterback system. SDSU will be playing in what is basically a home game for them and will have their most valuable player Leon McFadden covering Cody Hoffman. I shopped the number and am taking SDSU plus the points.SAN DIEGO STATE +3 -115230/200
Locked in UNDER 49Both teams have good defenses and both seem to trend under against good competition.

Good posting. Should be a boring* low scoring game. A six point tease taking the points + under might not be out of the question either with the line at 3.5 now..eta:*Only boring if you don't like the proverbial "decided in the trenches" type of game ;)And nice job getting that number. I am going to wait and see if the over gets some public action closer to gametime but regardlss of the movement will still be on the under

Brooklyn, down 2 with about 20 seconds left, gets a miraculous steal and then proceeds to miss two wide open shots, one to win and one to tie. I don't know you guys, I'm beginning to think this chalk parlay thing is a sucker's bet.

Browns +13 this weekend?

Call me crazy but the Broncos are due a clunker and the Browns have played pretty well the past seven or eight weeks. I'm not much for straight betting NFL games, but this one jumps out like few do to me.

i'm really high on Falcons -4. looks like it has trap written all over it, but Detroit getting blown out by Arizona has me thinking Atl wants to cement home field advantage this week

Lions are done, book it. Falcons win by double digits Thursday.

Lions are effed up. This is a game they will win, if only to screw themselves out of a better draft pick, which they will, in turn, undoubtedly botch anyway. Need an overhaul in a big way from the top down...

Short week and they had to travel from Arizona after a late game. I asked my best buddy who is a ridiculous ball of Lions knowledge (told me not to even tease them last week and he was right) and he said they are gonna get housed. They have nothing to play for, Schwartz is a disorganized/inept imbecile and the loss of Broyles and Titus has made the offense pedestrian. Atlanta should be favored by more than a TD. NE is 14 point favorites at JAx on a short week and the Falcons are -4 (+100) at the Lions who just lost to a team who had lost nine straight (including by 58 the week before).

Line is at -4.5 now on SB. Teasing DET could be intriguing to take it past the 7 and 10, but I'll likely just play the fav

Oh yeah, forgot last week was the last Thursday night game. Not sure that changes anything though, Lions will still stink on saturday.

I agree with everything written here, but the NFL is a strange animal, and I watched the falcons get housed last time on the road vs. Cam and co. I will be the dude everyone ridicules when they get beat down, but there is a good chance I will be on Detroit plus the points this week.

These late season lines are filled with traps, this and the Browns game could be two such examples. But I'll take a double digit dog in Cleveland that I actually think is a decent team, and I'll fade a team that looks like they quit in the 2nd quarter of the Packers game two weeks ago. Atlanta gets no respect either so I think there is not only the homefield motivation but also perception. Even after they blasted the Giants last week everyone is talking about how bad the Giants are instead of how good the Falcons are. Oh and speaking of crooked lines, Panthers -9? I mean Oakland is ####### terrible and all, but the Panthers are pretty terrible also. I put them in my teasers but -9? I won't bet that one but something isn't right about that, maybe it's a trap within a trap.

this, and the fact that everybody is talking about SF and Sea, Atl is still not thought of as one of the big dogs yet

Funny you mention the Raiders. I like them a lot too. Sense a pattern here?
