Are we really not going to go crazy on Oregon because they have been on a layoff and Chip Kelly has been interviewing w NFL teams? Or is it because Bill Snyder has had extra time to prepare and Ty Zimmerman will be lining up at safety? It’s Oregon. Oregon leads the nation in first-half scoring margin (Kansas State leads the nation in second-half scoring margin). And they score a point every 32.9 seconds. The Oregon 1H team total is sitting at 21 and I want it.
Hard to argue with this. Baylor shredded KSU for 580 yards.
As far as who KSU has faced, Baylor's offense is probably the closest thing we have to compare Oregon's to. And it should be noted that KSU starting safety Ty Zimmerman was out against Baylor. But I'm not sure how much of a difference he would have made.

On the flip side, they have had a month to prepare for Oregon. They had a week to prepare for Baylor and Baylor was the 2nd of two in a row on the road. Not sure how much of an impact that makes, but my gut is telling me that this makes more of a difference than I realize.

I refuse to give up:

Nuggets -365

Michigan -625

Arizona -810

Murray State -940

NDSU -610

SDSU -500

BYU -1400

Utah State -970

Oregon -315

+300

Not so fast my friend. West Virginia is probably the closest thing they've faced to Oregon in tempo and talent and West Virginia got 14 on K-State in MOrgantown. K-State also held OU and Techa Tech (two other top 11 offenses) in check, were +21 in turnover margin and 24th in scoring defense in the conference which scored the most average PPG.

I am taking the Oregon o21 and solace in the fact that Oregon is a first half team, has done the layoff between regular season and bowl games four times, and has had the same amount of time to prepare their offense that KSU has had to prepare its defense. Snyder is good, and will make some good adjustments at the half. But I think the layoff will affect his team more after not playing in a BCS bowl game since 2008.

RickJ is on quite the downturn with his plays. He's been getting hammered in basketball (NBA and NCAA) lately...However, that means it's likely a good time to jump on board. He is VERY careful with his selections, he will pass on 130 games in a day if something doesn't fit his models the right way.another note - he does move lines slightly, you need to follow him on twitter or refresh his page every 30 mins or so. He doesn't make any major movements happen but I've been burned a time or two by missing out on a point or two of closing line value. He was all over Northwestern in the Bowl Games though when it was +2. It ended up -1.5 and we won that quite easily.Anyway, like I said, probably a good time to hop aboard.
Of the touts I follow him and Dr. Bob have been the worst this year. By far.I think he's lost quite a bit of his edge from a few years ago but IMO he's still worth following. A few years ago he was moving CBB games 2+ points and had a few 60% years.

Got Oregon -8 tonight. Have contrasting opinions on the totals so I'll probably lay low there.

Also ventured back in to the NBA tonight with:

Knicks PK. Knicks should be much more rested than SA and I think the market is over reacting to the lack of Felton.

A few CBB plays:

Jacksonville St. +7

Wright St. -2 1/2

80-81-4 -6.5 units

KSU hasn't been in a BCS bowl since 2004, but they did play in the Cotton Bowl last year on January 6th.

Any chance Popovich pulls a Popovich tonight and limits or sits Duncan? 4 games in 5 nights for them and their defense is a lot lot worse without Duncan on the floor. He played 30+ at Milwaukee last night. Total is "only" 208 for two of the better offenses in the league.

I tailed that chalk parlay from 36000 feet on a flight to Vegas. A few games weren't available on SB but I got +200.

Pretty sure it's a lock.

I like KState tonight. Kelly has both feet out the door. Could be a good "#### you just leave" night from his players

There's very few NBA money lines up today at several books I check. Is this normal? Seems strange.
There are just two games today. Thursdays are typically light in the NBA, as teams usually play two games between Fri and Sun.Go Wolverines!
Oh. Didn't even notice the other games were tomorrow. On a plane and just looking for crazy #### to bet on.

Bicycle. Monkey. Ashy Larry.
The fact that the location is already set to Marcy Projects,I'm sold. Welcome!

Just added Colorado +12 1/2 at U of A. I love the Cats and I'm a former season ticket holder, but they are not nearly as

good as their record this year. This just seems like an awful lot of points here to a pretty good CU team.
