Me too. I was on it huge even before the FYI, and then added more.
A few things:1. I don't think Kolb and the boys are clicking yet on offense. Kolb has been pretty bad in training camp and preseason and I think he won't be very good in this first game...even against the poor GB secondary. It's almost like Kolb is scared of getting hit. He's looking at the guy coming around the corner that's about to hit him instead of focusing on finding a receiver.2. Yes, Rodgers and company have looked great in the preseason. I don't see why that won't continue. Their line is playing great and Rodgers has a lot of options to go to.3. The weather is supposed to be a little drizzly in Philly today. I think that'll help the more experienced offense and QB; GB and Rodgers.

For the most part yes....Other 2 big factors...injuries and bad breaks in the first half. Tipped balls that end up in pick 6's, missed fgs, etc.But you get the general idea. Tenn played way above their heads and Oregon shot themselves in the foot.Tale of 2 halves.You just wait for a huge favorite which is tied or down at the half?Second half college football betting is my only strength.I suck at game totals, I suck at game sides. I suck suck suck in the NFL and on MLB. I am terrible in NCAAB and the NBA....I have a friend who could care less about my bets...but when I make a second half wager on an NCAAFB game, I am supposed to let him know.Wow, the Vols are laying down like a bunch of dogs. WHY WHY WHY must he come in here? He has his special little "gambling blog" thread all to himself.I don't care about Cleveland, but I was just about to unload on the Lions as my biggest play of the day before I read this. Whatever... he has to be right ONCE every couple of months. 
Anyway, I think you should jump on the Lions before everyone realizes they are not the Lions of the past few years. Stafford looked like a completely different player from last season to this summer. Best will be a major factor and the defensive line is beastly. I have no doubt Detroit will get their points. The game boils down to this for me: Can Cutler's horrific offensive line keep him clean long enough to exploit Detroit's terrible secondary? I say no. At least not very often. Suh and Kyle VDB should terrorize Shemp all day long. But the Bears will hit a few downfield strikes, which means I'm also playing the over 44.Buying the half point to get the Lions to +7 for insurance, but I don't think I'll need it. Detroit ML +250 also.

I respect both your opinions, but forget about Kolb for a second. How is Philly even going to slow down the Pack? I don't see it.

I have no idea.....but everyone in this thread loves GB and mia.....i'm on phi and buf. Like i said before the harder it is to make the bet the better the bet is. GB is getting tons of love and the line is moving the other way.

Raider - so you think GB is essentially -9 vs Philly at home? GB season wins at 10, Dallas 10', Philly 8 ov favored. If Dallas goes to Philly today they must be at least 3' then if we are rating teams on season wins. I can't see this being true because Dallas is -3 at Wash and their season wins is 8 under favored.

I think a sneaky off-the-radar play is the over 39½ in the Denver/JAX game.
People think of Jacksonville as a plodding offensive team, but MJD should be able to run all over the Broncos. Meanwhile, the Jags cannot stop the forward pass. I see some points in this one.

My bad. Where both teams stand currently, I think it would be reasonable to assume G.B. would be about an 8-point favorite at home.

that is my concern a bit too. I like the Pack -3, and i understand the idea of fading the public, but this is the 1st week of the season. I think the Eagles OL is a bit of a concern among other factors. I will be watching the live betting in this game, but i don't think either side is that great of a bet considering you have 2 very good teams coming in

I don't recall ever seeing so much love for a team before. Everybody loves GB this year including me. I honestly can't see any way GB doesn't blow the doors off of philly....i'm fading myself

I just had my sportsbook account hacked. I have a good idea on how it got hacked as someone hacked my email account and changed my password. But, the hacker placed a 2k bet on denver 2h +3. Tried to tell sportsbook but they didn't buy it.

Yeah, i forgot what a mad fenzy Sundays can be with NFL and the gambling going on. Add on DirecTV giving the Sunday ticket for free today, and my head is just spinning not knowing what to do. Speaking of which, Z, I like your Texans a lot this year. I grabbed Foster on each of my fantasy teams, and the guy looks like the real deal. The Colts have a pretty good run defense this year (so far until they all get injured), and the Texans look impressiveWell that TD sure helps!I'm not liking this Cleveland Cinci game!

Long story short a computer hacker on another forum a while ago has access to passwords and such.out of curiosity, why in the world would anybody do that? Can they withdraw from your account as well? Unless of course this is shtick that completely went over my head, I don't know what someone would get out of making a bet like that on your account. Good luck either way

It gets better. I once again can't get into my account, the hacker somehow got back in, even after I changed my password. I had about $400 of money available and now it's empty. Asked sportsbook and they gave me the run around.
