bmj has another favorable-looking college hoops card. I didn't give Texas enough credit when Arkansas traveled there to play them a few weeks ago, and my analysis of that matchup was way off, as the Razorbacks got their asses handed to them, but I do follow the Hogs closely, and usually have a good feeling about how they match up vs their SEC rivals. Getting 3.5 at South Carolina is a solid play, IMO, and bmj agrees. There's still a few minutes on that one, Sonny...

Gotta take my Rams too, tonight, what the hell. Be forewarned, homer pick, but they really have been playing well this year. Miles is doing a good job turning things around up in the Fort; team's playing hard. I don't see why they can't keep it fairly close, no?

 
Gonna hedge/middle half of my CSU play here at halftime. UNLV's press is killing CSU; we don't have strong enough ball handlers and I don't know how much that'll change. Rebels really cut into the lead once they started pressing. And to add to the nice line, CSU got a late foul called and hit both FTs with no time to get it back to 5 -- game coulda been closer. UNLV is a good bet at half here, regardless. ETA 8 point middle!

I've been ice cold since killin those teasers week 16 or whatever it was...I know ZERO about Bball so I just follow dudes who seem like they know what they are doing...lol...not a good idea.GR did well last night though...thanks buddy :angry:

I cashed out big, and left some scattered around. Now 0 balance at all books. Some of that was a result of doing a "cash out" in Vegas at decent lines vs. the fees. Absolutely no intention to reload until pre-season where I will dabble in pre-season teasers. Lumpy's 10 team hit had me in awe.

Also, 'bout to bet Portland; this is one where the Clips become the Clippers again, I hope.

ETA, adding more on Portland. Clippers just had this great run, beating the Lakes and all, but this is their 4th game in 5 nights, going against a good home team. I know they're turing it around finally, with Lumpy Avatar and all, but I'll need to see it on the road first.

ETA#2. It is 16 - 4 right now, CLIPPERS. :shock:

Hi, SLBD! Sorry Arkansas didn't work out Wednesday PM..that's the 3rd time they've folded in Overtime this Season...I'll get you some back down the road, I promise.I'll step up in regards to the Conference Championship Games. Analysis to follow, but I have a BOAT LOAD on the Steelers: 50% of it buying 1 (-2.5) and another 50% buying .5 (-3)...and I mean a BOAT LOAD, as in, I could be done until September if it doesn't hit...but I think it's one of the safest plays I've seen all Season. Jets are statistically outclassed on both sides of the football, to begin with. On top of that, they've been playing over their heads, and the statistical odds of any Team winning 3 straight road Playoff Games, especially vs a Team that's superior on offense, defense, special teams, turnovers, 3rd down conversion percentage and time of possession...I really should bet this straight and not take the hit on the buys, but I'm superstitious like that, and laying this much $$$, it just makes it easier to pull a trigger that I know I should pull, if that makes any sense.There's a real opportunity to make money here, IMO. There are other reasons to play the Steelers. I'll follow up with more later.Good Luck!
 
I agree with Nitt on Pitt, I also like GB but somewhat less due to not being at home. Both chalk QBs seem a little safer to me.

Pack and Jets. Waiting on the best line on the Jets. Still trying to figure out how to bet the Pack as the line moved against me, we'll see.

Couple things here. "Safest play of the season?" - far from it. Linesmakers have made lines for both of these teams for 18 weeks, safe to say they aren't making a mistake on this line. What should the line be, Pitt -7? Pitt -10? Line is correct, I will do some gambling and bet the Jets, but why risk multiple units on it? Makes zero sense unless you want to take a big risk. Statistical odds of a team winning 3 straight on the road. Let's think about it. GB doing the same in the nfc. Philly nearly did it 2 yrs ago. Giants did it 3 yrs ago. Pitt did it a 5 years ago. NYG and Pitt technically won 4 straight road games and the Giants set a record with 10 road wins, iirc. Doesn't seem all that unlikely to me. With parity in the league and teams much closer then they were years ago, this is a trend that should continue. Gone are the days where the 49ers, Cowboys, and Bills rolled through everyone.

these always seem to go the other way for me (i.e. both back-ups play lights out for some reason), but i tail you here bud

Steelers are the better team but I think the Jets want it more. This game is at worst a 7 point difference in the end and I really like the Jets chances to cover here.I really want to take the Bears, but I'm :no:

i parlayed the ML with the Steelers and Packers. i don't feel that great about it, but hopefully it works out

PIT for me and no play on GB/CHI... well no play until right before kickoff and I make a snap decision for some action.I don't think Sanchez will be able to win the game for them.
 
Now we're talkin, good. I put a fair amount on the Pack at 3 early. Liked Pitt too, but missed the 3, so not sure what I'll do there. I can't remember a time where I hated two QBs more and also liked the two they were facing quite as much as I do here. But so does the rest of the world, obviously, which is not good AT ALL. Rodgers does make me a little nervous against the Bears, I hope they're not some kind of roadblock for the guy -- he was not himself last time against them, and that was in Lambeau. Now he's freaking Superman and it better continue. I don't know though, nervous about that bet now...

I will probly just play the Under in the Pitt game and hold my ####### breath for 3 hours...ugh. I mean even if that line goes to 4, I can't stomach betting Sanchez in Pittsburgh, much less a playoff game. I would commit Hari-Kari if I lost, knowing how much I liked Pitt initially.

I guess I just don't like the sides I'm on, which is funny to say.......faves. Only 48 hours to decide.
