Sunday, 1PM:
Forgot to mention last week that my standard NFL bet is 3u.
Buccaneers ML (+130) backed up with Bucs +3 - I got this in on Friday night, line has since moved to Bucs +1, ML +100, so it's just a recommendation to play the ML - Bucs looked worse than they are last week vs a solid Lions D, they'll get back on track today at Minnesota...
Browns -2 - I think the Browns D can get after Collins and force him to make errors, and they can play solid road football - run the ball hard and successfully, feeding the play action and killing the clock, forcing Indy/Collins to take chances and low percentage plays that will lead to turnovers. Browns win a close one...
Redskins -3.5 - I bought some early, and was hoping to see this one drop to -3 with many touts siding with the Birds. Sadly, it' now -4.5...I am only playing this for 1.5u, as there are plenty of strong players going the other way. Last week I did that with the Raiders, and it worked out. We'll see if that's the case today. Fitz is a matchup nightmare for a smallish 'skins secondary, but I think the 'skins can win the battle on both trenches, and I like how Hightower runs hard and angry...I think he gashes the Cards D for some nice gains at critical junctures in today's game. Despite the hype surrounding Fred Davis and his solid work last week vs the Giants, Cooley is almost 100%, and the 'skins are very excited about getting him back on the field. There's going to be some 'not so fast, my friend' out of Cooley today as he begins to take his starting job back from the up and coming Davis. Cooley and Davis both are trouble for a Cardinals secondary that has trouble handling the TE. Between Hightower and the TE's, Santana is going to get some big plays off play action over the top. That's a nice prop.
...at 4PM, I'm on the Patriots (-6.5) and Bengals ML and +3.5, don't have time to write them up.
I absolutely L-O-V-E the Eagles -2.5 on SNF. Pounding it.
Good Luck!
