FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (10 Viewers)

:lmao:

Everytime I read DD's leans on the under in the Neb/USC game I kept thinking it was USC trojans....then I realized USC had a bowl ban only AFTER i giggled at RN's c0ck jokes.

For some reason I have a tradition of only listening to Eazy E when handicapping every morning...

Was singing this at Wawa this morning while pouring my coffee. Not realizing there was some dude and his 5 year old kid waiting behind me. I was embarrassed to begin with and then he said "Let's clean up the language a little huh?" Not a good first impression in my new neighborhood.

Only play for today is Wisky+6. I may make a few small plays on the other games, but will probably lay low and enjoy my winnings from yesterday so I have some $ to piss away on the NFL playoffs.

I already have a rooting interest in today's games with the FBG pool(16-7). Here's what I have there:

HOU-6

NEB+1

MSU+3

OSU+2

WIS+6.5

STAN+3.5

College Hoops:

Season Record 10-8, +.2u

URI/BC UNDER 136

Northeastern -8.5

Northeastern/Towson UNDER 126

LSU +3

I have all opposite except Wiscy and I am 2 back....should be a big day

I'm way too invested in the Big 1G. I'd switch my pick to Florida if I could.

really like penn st. under 56.5, but why do you guys like penn st. +7.5--do you think their offense can put up any points?

took

penn st. u56.5

uga -3 and o50

usc -2.5

I just figure if you like Penn St, you would also like the under.Penn St plays good defense, doesn't have a great offense but are much better rushing than throwing (rushing = slowing the game down a bit usually), so if you're banking on them keeping it close with Houston, that means you're banking on them stopping Keenum and therefore, banking on a lower scoring game.If this is a high scoring game, I don't know how Houston doesn't cover the spread. IMO, they go hand in hand - hence my parlay.ETA: PSU is 5th in the nation in Points Against, and 110th in Points for. Again, if you think they can keep Keenum at bay, you would think the under is a good play in general

wowPSU late move back down to +6.5 forced me to go with a tease here:PSU +12.5 and UNDER 61.5
The Gameday crew just talked about how several guys on Penn State didn't even want to come to this game. :scared:
Dammit - didn't watch Gameday. This might be a complete ####show. Oh well, I needed something in the early game
I'm not advocating a play on UH, for the record. Just reporting what they said.I was leaning Penn State like everyone else here.

that's why i was asking...i dont see much motivation for penn state. offensively they are on their 2nd and 3rd string qb. i think this will be the toughest defense houston sees, but i dont see how the penn state offense puts up many points. go penn state keep it close, keep it under

Hou/Und parlay today??
F it... I'm going Penn St. Not gonna overthink it. They should dominate in the trenches.
So it's a tight game? I know aboslutely NOTHING about college football. I mean NOTHING. Gonna follow you guys.ETA: I just got a bad itch to gamble today, and I'm home with time to kill and the spreads are staring at me saying BET BET BET! :lmao:

Morning, (de)Gents!

Have to believe yesterday set a precedent for a profitable year for us all...

Waited too long on Penn State, missed the grab at 7.5...I'm now getting 6.5, hoping for one last shift back to 7, because I'm not comfortable playing my Lions as anything but a teaser leg...I do think, however, it's a valid point that the Penn State Defense is one of the best in the nation, and like nothing Houston has seen this season. Something else that needs to be considered: McGloin was a gunslinger with no conscience, about either his in-game performance, or that Bolden was on the sidelines, just waiting for the call to come in. Bolden has had issues this season with McGloin's presence, and didn't handle the QB shuffle well mentally. Bolden was statistically an above average QB last season, and takes the field today with no shadow looking over his shoulder, since McGloin is out. I think he's been waiting for this opportunity. He's practiced with intensity, and may be looking at this as a second chance.

However, I'm in straight on the following, 1.5u plays...

Michigan St. / Georgia UNDER 49.5

Nebraska +3...contemplating ML here as well.

Florida -3

...working on teasers involving the above now...

osu/stanford under 74 1 unit

wisky +4.5 1 unit

Also played south carolina -2.5 a while ago when it looked like Nebraska's starting center would be suspended, but he somehow got out of being charged with a dui and will play now. The under is probably my favorite bet in this game, as I don't see either team being able to sustain many drives against the other.

oregon now down to -4.5. I really like oregon and their speed in this spot. Am I wrong for thinking that oregon's speed will more then offset the wisconsin size advantage?

tailing on the neb/usc under and taking houson - 6.5. :bag: I can't see any motivation for the psu kids who I would imagine are ready for the season to be over. I very well could be wrong but I am taking a small shot on houston nonetheless. I think psu is going to struggle with this kind of passing attack not usually seen in the big ten.

If they get after Case Keenum, they will be fine. Southern Miss was unblockable against Houston and they dominated, Keenum couldnt do anything. I expect the same from PSU

A 1300 yd, 15 td rb is average but a qb with 1300 yd, 5 td and 7 int is above average?

"Okay guys, should we go with the running play that gets stuffed for no gain, or the play where I overthrow my receiver by 8 feet?"
