FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (2 Viewers)

My sister married a Steelers fan and now she's "all in" on being a fan. She has never been interested in sports before, besides the Pistons maybe. So she starts this facebook thread with all the exciting Steelers moments highlighted. After they lost I said, "Steelers blow, embarrassing loss."She says, "don't hate the Steelers, hate the stupid rules" because somehow in her mind (and quite possibly my BIL's mind) the Steelers lost that game in OT because the NFL changed the OT rules. I consider this to be a mix of cute, obnoxious and downright sickening.
just remind her about how bad the rules are when the Steelers have a blatent fumble giving the ball to the Broncos on the 18, but they can't review it because the refs blew the whistle, or whatever goofy thing they said. that would have ended the game there and was the start of the Steelers come backand a lot of missed calls in that game, the facemask on Tebow on the final drive the Broncos had was pretty awful
I want to talk with my sister about sports about as much as I want to talk to her about her menstrual cycle.

:lmao: good point.

Crap I have NIU too, double whammy for me.

Nice FG there knob. Jesus, how do guys on scholarships miss 30 yard FGs that aren't even kicked from the hash mark?

If any of you have a DVR, back it up and watch the 3rd down play again.

Vince Wilfork could have jumped over that pile into the end zone. That kid is a total {meow}...

I haven't really paid attention to what TF or anyone else said about the NCG total tomorrow night. Is it a given that the game is going to play under? 40½ isn't that steep of a climb with a big play here and there.
If you held a gun to my head, I'd tease the over. Both of these teams put up a ton of points except for the game they played each other. I still think it's a defensive battle, but I don't think it's going to be 9-6 again. I almost expect at least 1 score off of ST or Defense. Plus you have the whole possible overtime scenario. But like someone said, tease it with an NFL game. Or take LSU straight up if you need the action :football:

Is Alabama favored for any particular reason other than the fact there are more Tide fans worldwide than LSU fans?

Alabama has the better qb, the best overall player, the better defense (statistically), and the better coach. Alabama also has the benefit of a second game against a team it shouldve beat first time they met. Hard to beat a team twice.

Gotcha. Thanks.

Gonna need Arkansas State to start scoring, they don't look too good after they dominated the first quarter.

NIU kicker has now missed a 33 and a 22 yard FG, oof.

I don't get this logic. If Bama's kicker wasn't awful and they won the first time, it'd be more difficult for Alabama to win this time? That doesn't make sense. The Saints beat the Lions in the regular season, and then they beat them soundly in the playoffs. And it wasn't hard, for them. :confused:LSU's special teams are awesome. In a track meet that might not matter as much when you're just booting XP's and covering kick offs, but in a defensive struggle, it takes on added importance.LSU +2.

Now or never as far as the over goes. Funny how we were all worried about NIU showing up and now it's Ark St that can't get off the mat.
