Donald and Sergio look like the biggest slam dunks on the board. More than Tiger, even.
WHO'S THE BEST???

I'd like to interupt this golf thread with a hockey prop play.

Bruins Under 2 units

Avs under 1 unit
You said Bruins Under Over right? Should I double up on the Avs? You can't go 0-2 can you?
Bruins have 5 shots guy.ETA: six shots and three goals after one.
Pretty good scoring percentage, I'd say.

I wasn't bustin on your play...I tailed you. Just surprised to see them blow up in the 1st.

But doubling up on the Avs was a serious question. What are your thoughts?

Gordon, an NBA prospect who had 20 boards and 27 points against UNLV 3 days ago, gave up 10 rebounds to a 6'4" white boy...basically, a walk-on. 10 boards. IN THE FIRST HALF!

Gordon The ####, put up 13 pts and 6 rebounds against a team whose biggest player was 6 ####### 4, and who also started 4 guards. And the lazy ******* turned the ball over 6 times. ####### Gordon just put up a total of 44 points and 37 rebounds against UNLV and SDSU. Tonight, he's way less than half against a much easier opponent, without a center, it's crazy.
Still not over this. Even SI wrote about the "lopsided" matchup, HERE. An excerpt:FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) -- With center Will Bell in street clothes because of a swollen left knee, Pierce Hornung had to pull double duty.

He scored 13 points, grabbed 15 rebounds and helped shut down Drew Gordon in leading Colorado State to a 71-63 upset of No. 18 New Mexico on Tuesday night.

"He's a big guy and he's a talented player," Hornung said. "He's fun to play against."

Hornung also had four steals as the Rams (17-9, 6-5 Mountain West) extended their winning streak to 12 straight at Moby Arena.

"I thought he was brilliant," said New Mexico coach Steve Alford. "With Will Bell being out, they were short-handed underneath and I thought he did an unbelievable job defending our bigs and then to be able to score, he made his free throws down the stretch, 15 rebounds. I thought he was the difference in the game."

The Lobos (22-5, 8-3) lost for the first time since Jan. 21, ending a sensational stretch in which they won seven straight games by an average of 19.3 points, one that started with an 85-52 wipeout of the Rams at The Pit in Albuquerque, N.M.

"It's the first time a lot of these guys have had to play being ranked and having a target on their back," Alford said. "But I give Colorado State a lot of credit. They played a four-guard lineup that really hurt us. They defended hard and we had a hard time defending them."

Gordon scored 13 points and had six boards but really played nothing like he did last weekend, when he had a career-best 27 points and 20 boards in a 65-45 demolition of then-No. 11 UNLV on national TV that vaulted the Lobos back into rankings at No. 18.

He kept turning the ball over in the paint - six times in all - and had a tough time finding shots much less the basket for much of the night.

"Defense, it always has to be a personal challenge," Hornung said. "You have to look across at the guy you're guarding and say I'm not going to let you beat me. It is the same every game."

Even against Gordon, who has 4 inches, 35 pounds and plenty of accolades on Hornung.

"You just have to be active with him. He's a heck of a player," Hornung said. "He was tough to go against all night. You have to be active and physical and match his physicality and his tenacity."

Maybe Gordon has to be on National TV to ####### try. No center, and 4 average, or worse, guards. Amazing, when one team wants it that much more. Whoever moved that line sure as hell knew what was up. :bag:

You gotta love Pierce Hornung, though, the guy plays that hard every game. Listed at 6'5" but no way. He's CSU's very own Kurt Rambis, lol.

Kind of a shotgun approach no?
The system plays are 2H plays and don't account for what the O/U line was before the game nor does it consider what play I made before the game.It is strictly based on the 2H line and how high or low it is.It feels that the UNDER is the right play. So I guess I could incorporate more "Laying Off" if the system produces conflicting information from what I already bet. It's essentially a semi-hedge??

 think i still like it though, i think the Flyers can easily give up 3 goals a game, and they know they will have to score a lot to win games. If i could play the stupid shot totals for the NHL again, the over shots seems like they will be good for a bit too. Can't trust Ilya or Bob to hold onto any lead the Flyers may have

Okay, I'm over it I guess...WE MOVE ON.

Took Wyo as well. And Long Beach State. This is a good team that got F'd at Creighton and I expect them to take it out on UCSB tonight. They have a chip on their shoulder still and can't afford a misstep.

How about a McIlroy - Bradley - Schwartzel PARLAY?

2u pays 5.5u

Kind of strange that I came up with this and they are all in the same bracket...

anyone betting on the Oscars? Is the Artist a lock to win all the big ones?
It's a lock to win Best Picture. Probably wins director but no way i'd lay that juice. Actor is a toss up. Line moved based on earlier awards but everyone loves Clooney. That and best actress are going to be interesting. Both supporting categories are locks for those big favorites.

Around mid-December, I saw it listed as a prop and did some research. At that time, a number of sites said Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close had a great chance to win. Put a unit on it at 12/1. :bag:

Jeebus, how a good night goes to piss:

Tennessee (-6) 73, Ole Miss 60, easy W...+1u

LSU (-5) 61, Georgia 53, solid cover...+2u

Vanderbilt (-13) 59, South Carolina 48, missed by a lousy late basket...-1u

Michigan State (-6) 66, Minnesota 61, back door-ed by a lousy late 3-pointer...-2u

...+6u to -juice by three freakin' last minute points over 2 games.

SCREAM FOR ME LONG BEACH (-8)!!!

Anyone with me?

Texas Tech (+14.5), up 4 at the half, just played the worst 2nd half of basketball I've ever seen, getting outscored 44-22...loser.

...Kansas (-10), up 21 in the 2nd half blows an easy cover, winning by 8.

F!

M!

L!

Taking one from each bracket in a small .25U 4-way parlay that pays a shade under 10/1.

2/23/2012 12:15 PM PGA WGC Golf 171 Dustin Johnson - advances* -140 vs Francesco Molinari - advances

2/23/2012 12:50 PM PGA WGC Golf 176 Bubba Watson - advances* +100 vs Matt Kuchar - advances

2/23/2012 10:00 AM PGA WGC Golf 181 Rory McIlroy - advances* -195 vs Anders Hansen - advances

2/23/2012 1:05 PM PGA WGC Golf 191 Nick Watney - advances* +110 vs Tiger Woods - advances

Takers? Ticket's in for me.

seemed like the only potential value out there is Clooney for Best Actor and you really only get even money on him. The Help chicks are going to win both awards? Marty have a shot at Best Director?

Help wins supporting for sure. Best Actor/Actress is a coinflip. Streep and Clooney were both favorites before the SAG awards. Streep hasn't won in forever. She gave props to Viola Davis in her GG's speech. It's tough. If I had to pick one I'd go davis but the fact that they're already going to give the supporting award to someone else in the film could hurt her. Michelle Williams has gotten a big push but so much of the movie isn't her. I really thought Clooney had it all but wrapped up but Dujardin has won a ton of trophies late. I didn't love The Artist at all so maybe I'm biased. I don't think it's Clooney's best work either but for sure some of the best material he's had to work with. I don't think Scorcese wins but he's owed about 4 awards so maybe they throw him another one like they did for The Departed. I'd stay away from betting director for sure. For the best acting categories the only people you can for sure cross off are Demian Bichir, Glenn Close and Rooney Mara. Pitt, Williams, and Oldman all have a tiny hope. Would be a huge upset but I wouldn't say they for sure have no chance.

couldn't decide which matches I liked best so I just bet them all for about .25U each. Didn't do much research. Took mostly small underdogs. Will make work more interesting I guess.

Rory McIlroy - advances -195* vs Anders Hansen

MLB win totals up at Sportsbook...
DBacks O86 should be pounded ferociously. I like that team to win the NL West. Consequently, +160 to do just that is a ticket I'd be on. Also like Kemp most HR @ +2000, should be much lower. Good value play with a decent shot to do it. Plus, he's playing for FA money. Edit: Called 5D, these will be up next week there too.

Sorry I missed this, I was out playing poker. Even though it was a winner my answer would have been no. Kings blew a big game last night and were on the road. We are finding allot of good spots this year, no reason to go multiple units on games that aren't strong plays. And for the record the bruins under was a run away winner. The blues have turned into the devils of the past few years. They consistently do not allow many shots.

Might be some real value tomorrow night. Blues play on the road. Like to see where they set the Canucks total, I can see an under bet. SJ over is a possibility, but someone is auto betting the over every game and pushing up the odds.

Sorry I couldn't get back here sooner. Got liquored up last night and couldn't even sit up at the computer. Girls home sick with stomach flu not giving me much time either. Router problems this morning also limiting me. It was a trifecta. Seems good now. I don't like the card as much today but I'll give a few a whirl. Mahan over Yang, Senden over Day, Laird over monnasero, back to the well on Ishi over Lawrie. Upset specials Toms over Kaymer and Oosty over stricker.

For Me:

Kyle Stanley

Mark Wilson

Dustin Johnson

Bubba Watson

Nick Watney

Then a silly parlay of : Hanson, Stricker, Bradley, Day, Schwartzel, Manassero for ####s and Giggles
