How reliable are baseball props? I mean I know it's posible to be shut off with hockey props, and I hear the same about football. Have any of you guys ever been shut off of baseball?

50 year old Greek guy who barely spoke a lick of english.
Got him head to head in a hand. Board was J-rag-rag. I had K-Q. I bet in 2nd position, he calls. Turn comes Ace. I lead out with a 4x BB bet. He asks "Do you have a better kicker?"
He folds after some hemming and hawing and shows his ace. I showed him my bluff. I should have known better.
The VERY NEXT HAND.
K-9 of Spades (I'm in BB. I raise the BB 4x)
Board is King Clubs-6 spades, 2 spades.
I bet 25% of my stack. Not sure if he's steam calling but he calls quickly.
Turn comes, 10 of clubs.
I go all in with my Top Pair and Flush draw
He snap calls.
Greek donkey had a 10-6 of hearts.
Guess it was karma for showing him by bluff. Shook his hand and now at the bar.
I realize people give about as much of a #### about poker stories as they do about how many titles the Lakers have won, but I don't like starting new threads and I've been posting my poker stories in this thread for years now so thought I'd share. Back at it tomorrow with the Omaha Hi/Lo tourney.
Also played an NCAA teaser for 1 unit:

Oh well. Wasn't really a bad beat. I'm sure he put me on a draw, but didn't think I had top Pair as well. Didn't think I'd be losing to 10-6. Maybe a bad play by me to go all in, but he just saw me bluff him out and I thought I was a strong favorite at that point and would get a call after just showing him A-K high #### happens.

Do we have somewhat confirmed goalies in that game yet?My book likes Davidson as well, Louisville is a team that is great when they hit their shots and not great at all when the 3s aren't falling. Seems like a good spot for an upset.

Ilya is in because he has a chance to be the first Flyers goalie to have 4 straight shutouts, and looking to break beezer's record for longest amt. of time not letting a goal in. i also anticipate the flyers team will support this and will likely take under shots for both teams.i do wonder if they'll get any of their d-men back. i think Kubina skated today.

Not to gamble though. I stopped cold turkey after losing about 50 bets in a row.
But to stay in "action" I'm helping Kurt out with the SOG stuff. Most of you who play them every night know this already. It gets to be a lot of work with all the other stuff he has to do. I've seen Aaron and others lamenting the fact that they can't play the SOG for the late games because Kurt isn't around. Those days are over. I will be online from 7:45 (EST) until the final horn of the last game every night, so send your plays to me anytime. If you are already a customer and you need my email addy, PM me. For the 7pm and 7:30pm starts, you can leave your plays in my inbox, and as long as the time stamp checks out, consider it action. I will be at your service immediately, if need be, for every game which begins at 8pm or later.

Heh, I have a feeling this is gonna be a LOT more work than I anticipated. But that's okay, it's a labor of love. And if it keeps me out of trouble, that works too. Anybody have an opinion on this prop? Will a team from the big 12 win the ncaa tourney +425. Having a number 1 and 2 seed on your side seems like good value and probably a decent chance to hedge later. Thoughts?
