Just nothing to bet on. Baseball blows.I will be a big bettor on the Olympics and some weekend UFC and golf...but baseball is such a drag.

Fair enough, but we still usualy got one or two games or totals. I can't talk Goo's props out of respect but there has got to be some props to discuss as well. And oh by the way they do have week 1 football and other "highlighted games".Along those lines I just booked 2 units on the broncos in week 1 -1.5. If Peyton is still Peyton I'll take my chances.

Alot of guys just aren't feeling baseball right now. My subscriptions are at an all-time low, can't give them away

Brewers paid tonight. They came from behind twice in the game and scored the go-ahead run on the safety squeeze in the bottom 8th.

Well bud when you put out a 5 star Paladium lock on No Maybin run and baseball tonight has been showing an update for the last 20 minutes that says " Maybin (SD) hits longest HR of the year " it's going to impact sales.............Get it together! ;) Sorry I think it's funny. I'll say this about Gooroo. He wins (way) more often then not, but when something blows up it seems to be always something like that.

Do baseball o/u ever get as low as 6? I think the Seattle under keeps getting hit until it hits 6. And then later tonight when people are chasing, the over 6 will get hammered @ high juice and then lose.

I've seen 5.5 twice this year, Lee vs. Cain and Kershaw vs. Sale

Just saw this perusing 5D today. Of course I'm in for something this ridiculous.I'll take the Black Widow O41.5 hot dogs for 1U. Shame/shocked, can't parlay the ML on Joey and the O61.5 HDB eaten, even at 5D. THIS IS A REAL SPORT!

Bases have been rough

Down about 12units this year

On the following:.... tail at your own risk

.. or just fade :bag:

SD + 125. Cashner is better than Bauer.. Right now

Cin -120: fading lad

SF +125: lincecum has turned it around

Nyy -110: nova keeps winning and iirc nyy has done well v

Shields.

I think the turning point for Big Time Timmy Jim was when he got freaky against the A's back on June 22. He had a rough first inning but shut them down after & retired 18 of the final 20 batters he faced. At that point it was "the most tangible turnaround of his unremarkable season so far" and he's looked good ever since.

:2cents:

I think Lincecum is slowly turning it around. He still walks too many people, but his K numbers are starting to climb. His velocity is still down, and the worst this year of his career, but he's still managing to generate K's by getting guys to chase out of the zone. His first-strike numbers are just about average, while his zone percentage is fairly well below-average, which means he gets to 0-1 a lot and then goes to work throwing junk.

Good article on fangraphs suggesting that his high HR/FB and BABIP aren't luck-related, but that he's making bad pitches in the zone.

Well, if you're right about pinpointing those 5 innings as the sign, hats off to you. I just don't see it and the Dodgers game certainly isn't proof for me, but we'll see...

I'm taking a unit from the mondo grando tennis parlay (posted above ;) ) and letting it ride on the Rangers +123.

I'm not crazy about it, but I want some action on the game. And I think after last game v Oakland they will try to actually play team baseball instead of trying to hit hero home runs every time.

2 nights in a row! I think I'm going to have to drop the <"no" run with the .200 hitting 7th hitter that's followed by the powerless .185 hitter and the pitcher facing the opposing teams ace> angle from the toolbox. More sales down the :toilet:

Funny. You cant make that S up if you tried. As you said from the get go this still will always happen, its a long term grind when it comes to baseball.

Well Timmy let me down last night. Maybe he will never turn it around.

European pga tour Alstom open has the field bet @ -175 with only 19 golfers listed. Good value, but after winning last weeks Irish open field bet I'm going a different angle. A golfer who seems to play well against weaker fields is Retief Goosen. 50/1. Another who seems to play well in this situation, is one of the favorites Martin Kaymer @ 12/1. 20 on Kaymer and 10 on Goose.

In the Greenbrier, I don't think Tiger wins back to back. The field bet doesn't do anything for me either. Both @ +350. Took a shot on Stricker and Furyk at 20/1 and 25/1. Small play on Pat Perez @ 50/1.

:lmao: I wish I could make that bet 10x/night. Keep hammering.

Lakers +800 ftw?
They still have nobody that can guard Westbrook or Parker. They did address a shooting weakness, but their biggest weakness has been their inability to guard point guards for the last 5 years. Ty Lawson ripped them apart in the first round this year and nearly beat them himself. I dont see how this changes them that much.

Cubs +130 Cubs have been playing well with Rizzo in the lineup and Minor is Atlanta's worst starter

COL/STL O 9.5 +105: Friedrich has been flammable and Lynn has been bad his last three starts. I am thinking either team could score boatloads here.

Goose was able to shoot 6 over par, and beat 7 other golfers today. Kaymer fared a little better but will probably miss the weekend. TOP NOTCH DANNY!! TOP NOTCH!!

Looking at CWS -151 and CWS TT o5 +105 vs Laffey's career road ERA of 5.20.

Also like MIL -138 and for some reason TEX/MIN u11 -115.

Bummed out because I have to miss tomorrow's UFC card because I have to :banned: with a 27 year old woman and possibly have sex w her. :kicksrock:

Probably going CWS ML.

I woke up extra early this morn to turn in my research paper and ended up taking a large sum on Joker +145 (live betting).

Then I chased that with a large sum on Tsonga +210.

:sadbanana:

I hate Andy Murray's face. I can't believe he hit Tsonga in the #### with a tennis ball. I hope Federer royally embarrasses him on Sunday.

I'm not proclaiming anything here other than a long shot. Guy with the Cards ticket last year was probably thought to be crazier.

Where are we with Phillies +2500 to win the WS? OF Course it's a long shot now, but I don't know, I feel like playing it. Howard back, could be something where I'm just pissed about it by even tomorrow, but hanging 0.5U to win over 1200 is pretty tasty.

Forget it, they don't have middle relief to save their lives. Eh, 1st quarter pre-season overs are a month away.

I'll wait to see how the trade deadline goes before i throw the towel in on them. Figure Howard can help a little, and I expect Halladay to come back and light fools up for the rest of the season. I don't feel great about my Phils winning the NL East bets, but i don't think they are dead yet. Biggest thing is none of the other teams really scare me, so if they get their act together and go on a little run, i think they can be in it until the end of the season.

They only have ~1% chance of making the playoffs at this point...their odds on the WS should be WAYYYYYYY more than 25-1, wish I could bet the other side of that at like -5000ETA: because they were such big favorites pre-season there's probably some value still in some of the surprise teams like the mets, don't know though haven't checked. Just a thought
