Haven't been able to get a good feel for this one. I feel pretty confident in the Giants offense though, so I'm going NYG TT o25 for some action.

Florida +1

C. Michigan +21

Air Force +21 1/2

Have the Giants tonight -4.

Go G men!

T. Romo gets sacked on the first passing play from scrimmage -120 vs T. Romo not sacked on the first passing play from scrimmage -110

Sounds like a lot of cowboys fans there. that is shameful.

and i think the under should be cozy for the 2nd half

First time watching a Dallas game?
Nope. I despise the Cowpokes with a passion, i get to see them a few times a year, and luckily they don't seem to have the same presence in Philadelphia as they do in Giants territory. Glad they still blow as always though. I think you might be in for a long year bud. At least until Romo realizes that Dez Bryant is a monster, and Ogeltree is not the avenue to winning many games.

So i grabbed a weird one before the game, No team will score 3 times in a row +155. the yes (i.e. a team will score 3 times in a row) was -180. Is that the way this line usually is? It is a stat i haven't looked into too much, but it would seem like it isn't that much of a regular occurrence, right?

I won't even argue that this was the dumbest/most "square" play that could have been made. Funny thing was i knew the 2nd half would not be like the 1st half with that, but this whole 1st NFL game sucked me in

Entered a bunch of teams at draftstreet...considering this is a fantasy football board i'd encourage everyone to do the same. I entered some salary cap leagues and they have some severely underpriced players in the pool this week(cough..doug martin...cough)
Let me know how this goes please

I think you mistake me for a Cowboys fan.

Home teams on thursday night espn games have been strong over the last few years.

THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, 2006 TO 2011 (92 GAMES)

Home Teams: 54-38 ATS (.587)

Home Favorites: 31-21 ATS (.596)

Home Underdogs: 23-17 ATS (.575)

2012: last week vandy + points & BYU - points both covered (2-0 ATS)

I'll take a shot with Cinci - 4½

I'm on the opposite side here, I think this number is screwed up from last weeks youngstown state game. Youngstown state is not a bad team and pitt had a bunch of suspensions right before gametime. Rolling with pitt +4.5 tonight(and utah -7 -120 tomorrow night)

The Pitt players that were suspended were starting defensive lineman Tyrone Ezell, reserve defensive lineman Shayne Hale, receivers Ronald Jones and Chris Davis, running back Rushel Shell and defensive back Anthony Gonzalez.

I totally agree that YSU is not a bad team, and with the six suspensions handed out hours before gametime, it's no wonder Pitt got thrashed by them. That game definitely screwed up this number.

Consensus picks all currently show a big public majority on Cincinnati. I just wish we had more info on them.

I just might pit .25 units on Cinci because of MUNCHIE!

this might have something to do with that whacky new england line (found this via google, can't confirm 100% accuracy):

Super Bowl Loser Stats Year Team Odds Result 2001 NYG -9.5 lost 2002 STL 2.5 lost 2003 Oak 3 lost 2004 Caro -3 lost 2005 Philly -7.5 lost 2006 Seattle -1 lost 2007 Bears -5.5 lost 2008 NE -4.5 lost 2009 Ariz -6.5 lost 2010 Colts -4.5 lost 2011 Pitts -4.5 lost 2012 NE -4 Pending 100% Losing rate for NFL Losers
Assuming "lost" means ATS.

Texas State ML +11500
Bettor wagers $2,000 on 34.5-point underdog, wins $120,000Sep 05, 2012

In terms of point spreads, Texas State's 30-13 victory over Houston last weekend was one of the biggest upsets in the last 32 years of college football. The Bobcats were 34.5-point underdogs in their first Division I game and won by 17. Pregame.com said it was the first time such a big underdog had won a game by double digits. It was just the seventh occasion since 1980 in which a team favored by so many points lost a game.

None of this came as a surprise to one bettor in Las Vegas. According to William Hill, a customer at Binion's wagered $2,000 on Texas State to win the game outright. He got 60-to-1 odds on the bet and netted $120,000 when the Bobcats pulled the upset.

Our friends at LostLetterman.com referred to him as a "lucky bettor." We say anyone who seeks out one of the few casinos to offer a money-line on Houston-Texas State and plunked down $2,000 on the massive dog is more than lucky. "Degenerative" is a word that comes to mind, but so do other phrases like "way too knowledgeable about future Sun Belt members" and "must be so attuned to the workings of the Houston Cougars athletic department that it could be Clyde Drexler."

USA Today

I've never been a big fan of monochromatic uniforms, but nobody rocks the "all black" quite like Cincinnati.

Texas Tech also does it well.

Bet longest TD Over 48 yards...scooped it immediately, bet gets cancelled for bad wording.

I am not sure how I am not going to kill someone tonight. I hate sportsbooks.

Looking forward to seeing Mark May at the half here, do what he does best, make excuses. I hate him.
