We might as well start talking about this BYU/Hawaii game tonight.

I know nothing about Hawaii, I thought BYU was very over-rated though when I saw them play in Week 2

Tricky game to cap. BYU's quarterback is a game time decission. What I can tell you is that Nevada ran all over them with ease and the Hawaii QB has a very week arm.
 
I'm leaning Hawaii with the points. BYU has a tremendous defense but I don't know that they score enough to cover the big number. Very error prone offense, possible QB controversy. Also leaning the under (50). I'll do more work on it later today but I could see a 28-10 type of game.

Sounds like a good parlay opportunity... If Hawaii covers it almost has to be an under no? :unsure:

Just so happens I have a question about this prop. I bet it myself and was thrilled with the W. Then I checked the box score and they gave Little a rush on a swing pass so he is sitting with a push. Anyone else on this prop that may have taken a closer look at that play. From what I can remember it wasnt a lateral.

That swing pass shouldn't matter he had 4 real receptions from watching the game. From what i saw that swing pass was a backwards pass so it should count as a rush. Everything I see has him at 4 receptions
 
Take advantage of the -105 lines at sportsbook today

CFL Calgary -6.5 -105, both the starter and the backup are out for Edmonton, 3rd stringer is starting the game

I'm laying off. Hawaii has some injury concerns on the offensive side of the ball so this could get out of hand. I still lean under but there are better games to play this weekend. I'll just stick with the Padres (-120) tonight.

I stayed up and watched the whole Nevada Hawaii game. I can't bring myself to take Hawaii.... They suck.

Nebraska -11 1/2

New Mexico +26

I'm sure there will be more later. I still may play the under tonight, depends on if the wife and I go out or not. If we're staying in, I'll be bored and I'll play under 50, probably half unit.

So far for Sunday I've got:

Packers -8 (2 units)

I'll be playing the Eagles once the line settles down here.

Would kind of like to break down these three if possible. The one I don't agree with is the SMU pick, they got housed by TAMU and Baylor and TCU is better than both those teams. Any particular reason you like the SMU there? Game is a short bus ride for TCU and I think they'll have a good number of fans at the game so homefield doesn't seem very strong here. Just would like your thought process on the other two, I don't know much about Cal or ASU but Cal has been playing some good teams pretty tough. New Mexico, man I've always shied away from touching anything in New Mexico, especially the fat chicks.

TCU allowed 380 yards to a terrible Kansas team and 353 yards to a not very good Virginia team. At home. Their defensive numbers are skewed by what they did against Grambling. They only brought back 11 starters this year and the schedule they've played hasn't proven anything at this point. I think they win, I don't think they cover 2+TD's. Baylor outgained SMU by only 107 yards. SMU had 3 turnovers. They actually had MORE first downs than Baylor. I think TCU and Baylor are fairly equal in talent.Arizona St. has faced a backup QB in every game they've played this year, they lost at Missouri, at one point being behind 24-7. Missouri is an average at best football team. Cal is 0-3 against FBS teams, but they played both USC, a preseason popular BCS champion pick, and Ohio St. (at the shoe) close. They outgained the Buckeyes by 100 yards in Columbus. In the last 9 years Cal is 8-1 vs. Arizona St. and have won by more than 14 four years in a row. Tedford owns the Devils. Home dog? Vegas has this one wrong.Bob Davey has New Mexico on the right track. I faded the #### out of them last year and made some money, they were 1-11 vs. the spread. I'm torn on Boise. I don't think they are anywhere close to as good as they've been, but it's hard to be sure because they've played 2 of the best defenses in the country in their first 3 games. I'm betting on them not being able to cover 4 TD's on the road against an improving (anything is better than last year) New Mexico team that may have a little confidence after beating NMSU on the road last week. Probably not as confident in this one as I am the other two, especially the Cal game.
 
My gym is closing today so it was pretty dead. I had burned the Slick Rick cd for Danny, the guy who works there, and we were standing at the front desk chilling when Tim Kennedy walked in the door. They had been renting some of their equipment from him.

seems like an "under" game doesn't it? of course there's a reason I don't gamble.

Nice, thanks. I think you talked me out of TCU and into Cal, but there is no way I'm touching New Mexico unless Jesus himself tells me that's the play.
 
Now that it's week 5 in college we know more things.

Here's what I'm looking at with my awful Drunken Uncle analysis

Feel free to disagree and talk me out of anything:

Illinois/Penn State under 42

Penn State offense sucks and their kicker sucks worse. Illinois sucks to the 3rd degree. All 4 Penn State games have gone under this year and their defense is actually admirable. I'm riding it out. I'm a straight rider.

Buffalo +16 @ Uconn

Uconn is terrible. They shouldn't be laying this many points to any DI team. Gimme the loot, gimme the loot.

Wake Forest -2 vs. Duke

Come on. Duke playing patsies all year and getting over rated. They suck balls. Insider tip from my brother who attends Duke "they ####### blow; their football team always blows". Don't - don't - don't believe the hype.

Northern Illinois -10 vs. Central Michigan

This is a touts 5 star play of the season. Lock city #####, lock lock city #####.

 
I am 2 for 132,456 with these bets, but I'm going to give it a shot anyway.

I don't know, for the religious love of BYU, they sure love to run up the score against their opponents here. I got the under in the 2nd half boys, let's slow it down a bit...
