FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (7 Viewers)

LOL. I hate him more than anything, obviously. And the list just keeps growing.
What's your list?He doesn't bother me too much.I hate the Lakers, every single one of them, that's about it.I think the jerking off to Kobe Bryant in the annual Lakers thread here and tims love for them sort of caused this because I never had a big problem with them before.

Cocks +3 here.

Seems too easy. Which worries me.

Probably a game the general public shouldnt be betting on to be honest.

Anyone have a lean on South Carolina/LSU?

These were my thoughts as well. I'm never any good when it comes to betting on "my" team (OSU -19), so figured I'd play this game instead. Go cocks and/or the under :football:

Found the site but they don't have CSU on there this week, ### ####it. Anyway, it's Wiziwig. They had a bunch of games, stream worked well, too...probly worth bookmarking for some of you complete sickos.

You don't want my list in here, too long. Actually had a thread cued up in the baseball forum early this summer but decided not to be negative. I wish I would've (because the list got longer). Not that you HAVE TO be from the city but it would make more sense to have at least lived there at some point...some connection...besides "WE'RE NUMBER 1!!!". When you read the thread you'd think these are all season ticket holders, it's hilarious. And I'm just not a fan of the "look how great WE are" team threads. Like every Boston one...ugh.

And before RN points out that I'm a Broncos fan, there was no team in LA and I did live in Colorado for 4 years. I adopted them in college when I started going to games and actually got to ride on the team plane (and buses) to an away game (roommate's Dad won some auction). It was also before they won those two SBs. Anyway, for the record, it's Lakers, Dodgers, Kings, Broncos. :banned:

I'm not the biggest NBA fan (in fact, I really don't give a rat's ass who wins the championship), but I like to see the Lakers do well. Only because I loved Earvin at Michigan State when I was a kid, and I vowed to follow whichever team drafted him. But really, the NBA is damn-near unwatchable for me.

Much bigger college hoops fan here, I've mentioned this before but I went to UCLA for under grad, UConn for grad school, my mother teaches at Duke, and my brother attends UNC currently. My other brother went to Florida, it's a family thing but the only sport that matters in my family is College hoops, Xmas always turns into an argument,

NBA is damn near unwatchable until the playoffs. I wholeheartedly agree w that

Eta: step sister went to SMU, she is just a whore

Yeah, I would've tossed the NBA out completely by now, if not for the Lakers. Maybe the Finals but not much more. And baseball, too. I ask myself what's the point in all this? Such a waste of time/life (as I sit with 50,000 posts on a fake football message board, but I digress). 162 games?? For a 1 game series. Beyond laughable. Even a 5 game series is silly after all that. Just way too many games and way too long. And SO slow.

I wonder what I am doing, as I sit and watch some 19 year old who put in red contacts for the occasion, take a pitch. Step out of the box. Put the bat down to re-velcro each batting glove (did they come undone?). Pick the bat up again. Look at his bat up and down like it's first boner. Tap on the pine tar (shaft) with each hand. Take a noticeable deep breath for the camera like he's going into a cage match. Slowly step back into the box. Adjust his feet. Take practice swings. Settle in and then finally look at the pitcher. And THEN call time because he's not quite READY? Ball one. Gotta do it all over again.

Baseball fans that complain about soccer are the best. :lmao: You gotta be kidding.

You probably aren't old enough to remember Mike Hargrove as a player. Annoying as hell. They didn't call him "The Human Rain Delay" for nothing.

He also attained the nickname "The Human Rain Delay" for his deliberate routine at the plate before each at-bat and before each pitch. He drove pitchers crazy by stepping out of the batter's box after each pitch and starting his routine, which consisted of (1) adjusting his helmet, (2) adjusting his batting glove, making sure it was tight on his hand and especially the thumb, (3) pulling each sleeve on his uniform up about an inch, and (4) wiping each hand on his uniform pants - and then sometimes repeating the whole process again - before finally settling back into the box. Towards the end of his career this trait was very well known and often commented upon by broadcasters.

Will be betting very light until this Yankees series bet ends one way or the other, my lightest college football day in years. Probably not taking any NFL.

Can't say I really remember him as a player, no, but I know him and the nickname. So great. :lmao: They shouldn't let batters take that long. They shouldn't allow guys to get out of the box so much. Go hit the ####### ball guys, let's do this. I mean, I'm watching it now and it is just ridiculous the amount of time between pitches. For god's sake, just PLAY.And once you're paying attention to it, like I am now, it only makes it worse. :D

Oh, almost forgot, ball adjustment is also vital. Especially for Bryce. And especially so after he strikes out...gotta still look cool.

I love getting to fade Flacco vs this pass rush and good cornerbacks. And I think Romo will have time to throw. Cowboys off the bye for the win.

DALLAS COWBOYS +3 Even

300/300

DALLAS COWBOYS 150

300/450

have hit well so far in the UFC, unfortunate that i have a long road to go from dummey bets this week. what i have left for the night:

Prado +300 (.5 unit)- was actually only .33 unit, not sure why but i think Davis won't take Prado as lightly this time as he did the first time.

Fitch +160 (i like Silva to win i think, but this line has gone too far. the fight is 50-50, and Fitch can win it easy by boring decision. a nice hedge is taking un 2.5 rounds -120)

Glover Texeira - this line has gone too far, maybe out of reach. if you get it better than -375 or so it is a good bet. At -500 or whatever it is now it is quite a bit more risky

only thing i worry about this game is the fact that Baltimore played pretty crappy against KC last week. they could bounce back well

Only thing I worry about in this game is that Tony Romo blows goat penises

It's night and day with him when he has time to throw. After the bye I think they will be prepared to deal with the rush. The Ravens pass rush ain't what it used to be.

The Ravens are pretty lucky to have that 4-1 record.

WVU and Baylor.... two locks. Should have known with the lines moving so much this am.

"we move on"

At least I didn't let this ruin my night. 4 hours of boating on the inter-coastal. Best time of the year down here.

i haven't watched a ton of their games, so i don't know too well. I know they should have beat the Eagles and not lost to them, Eagles got lucky to get out of that one with a win
