FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (9 Viewers)

Whoever turned me on to the +1800 for Giants winning the WS after being down 3-1...thank you.Gonna hedge and take the wife to Sizzler.
That would be cheese. :thumbup:Edited to add that I didn't take it, but when I initially saw cheese's post it made too much sense not to take it but I was all tied up in NCAA/NFL wagers at the time. Great call though.
:hifive:FWIW, I'm still letting mine ride. If the Tigers somehow win the next 3 games, I will consider a hedge at worse odds. Until then, I expect the Tigers to go away quietly and I don't think the current line is anywhere near value with the hole they're in.

Fielder play at home could have been huge swing. Lamont never should have sent him, and I'm not sure why Fielder was running on the inside of the base path. Unless he was trying to block the throw. If he slides to the right or makes any attempt to avoid the tag then he is safe. Could have been different game Tigers up 1 with no outs and guy on 2nd, or 3rd and 2nd if he isnt sent with no outs.
I usually hate Lamont and wish he would have been fired years ago but that was the right call. Despite Fielder slowing down when he was coming to third (thinking he was getting stopped), despite him running on the inside of the line, despite the ####ty slide and despite he's a fat ###...it took a perfect relay throw to get him by 3 inches. Tigers needed to take a lead in that game, and it was pretty obvious why after.
I couldn't get enough of the replay of that monster chugging around the bases. I could not stop laughing.
But he is a vegetarian.

Start hiding vegetables.

Fresno goes back on the road again for the third time in four weeks and faces the Lobos who are 5-0 ATS in their last five. The Lobos will run the ball and potentially win SU.

1) I noticed a "Which team will Corso pick?" prop last week on SB, and won a pretty easy -250 bet with Florida.Oklahoma, at home against ND, -12, that's an easy call, right? Corso's not going to pick a double digit dog on the road. I'd feel pretty good about this all the way up to -300, maybe a little beyond. Thoughts?2) So, how do you cap NBA props? TIA.
Definitely agree. I don't think I'm missed an episode of that show in 4 or 5 years. Best show on ESPN IMO. So....I would say you are more than safe. Corso is well aware of the lines and also, he gets to shoot a rifle when he picks the Sooners and it's the funniest headgear of all time IMO. No way he passes up the chance to do that again. If not for being right, he'll pick Sooners for shtick purposes.

The 31 year old is not going to be in class today and she is sending me dirty texts. It is sexy but also super funny because English is her second language.

If one were sitting on a DET to win the WS at 6 to 1 from before the playoffs started and said DET was down 2-0 to a team that looks all of a sudden like the freaking ST. L. Cardinals on another one of their freaking playoff runs would one buy themselves out of said 6 to 1 bet at this point in time?

I got Fresno -12.5 and I'm feeling OK about it. Doubt I'd touch it over 14 though.

Both of these teams are rushing offenses but both of these teams are very ####ty defensively on third down and in the redzone.

I have them 20 to 1, how do you think I feel? Having Giants 7.5 to 1 helps but not a bunch. The opportunity to hedge was probably before game one, I wouldn't touch that now.

Well, we're waiting.....:judgesmails:
We went out for coffee yesterday. It took me a minute to realize what she meant when she said she liked to cook and normally didn't go outside to eat.She also thinks that rims on cars are called rings. It is very endearing. And she's smart too. She made a 95 on our last calculus exam.

Bought myself out of the Tigers WS bet with SF +275. Best case scenario DET comes back and wins the series and I still get it at about 3 1/2 to 1. Ugh.

Bearcats tonight +3 1/2
Why?I got no feel for either team other then Munchie being a whatever QB.
Where to start? I think the line is an over reaction to Bearcats loss last week to Toledo (which I correctly called both with spread and ML bet). Cincy was looking ahead last week to Louisville, which is essentially their game of the year. BCS Bowl very much on the line. Louisville is INCREDIBLY over rated. They've beaten one team with a winning record (North Carolina)and nearly gave that one away at the end. They've beaten a TERRIBLE S. Miss team by a mere 4, a bad USF team by 2, a bad FIU team by 7. They were able to beat Pitt by 10 while Cincy beat them by 24. Last week in their loss to Toledo Cincy gave up ZERO offensive TD's. They outgained the Rockets 478-355. They've got a good offense that can both run and pass the ball. They have 18 QB sacks on the year and Bridgewater (L'Ville QB) has yet to be pressured very much this year. Cincy has a good run D, only giving up 3.7 yards per carry. I think Cincy is better than Louisville and if I can have a hook on a FG I'm playing them.

Have the following games locked in for tomorrow. There will be more to follow:

K State -7 (2 units)

WAZZU +25 1/2

Utah -1

Auburn +15 1/2

Maryland +3

Arkansas -6

S. Miss +3

New Mexico +15

Cincy fan so I'll pull a Herbstreit and just give some random thoughts on the game.Munchie's passing has been all over the place this year, but has made some of his best plays/throws just when everyone got on his case. I think he could step up with his back against the wall, but in general he struggles as a passer. It also doesn't help that the receiving crew has been very inconsistent. He is awesome in the running game so they're unlikely to yank him regardless. If Louisville plays defense anywhere near what they did against USF and he's going to break multiple 50+ runs. You mention the Cincy DLine which is underrated again, but our best player is injured and that really hurts that group. I think we can get to Bridgewater, but the rest of the DLine struggles to finish the job and he could make plays escaping the pocket. The key for Cincy will be to get off the field on 3rd downs and keep the game tight the whole way so they can stick with the running game and not have to throw it down the field. I think Cincy will try to get Abernathy in the game as a Sproles-type game breaker. I'm not sure if UL has the defense to tackle him or not.I think Louisville has a lot of intangibles. They've lost 4 straight in this series to a big rival and their home crowd will be ready for this. Also, Munchie fired them up even more saying he's better than Teddy B.Should be an awesome game.

I put 1u on the Cincy ML +145I can just as easily see them winning this as losing by a FG or less

Adding Air Force +4. I had this game as a PK game so I'll take the home team with more than a FG.
Going on record here, I hate this play. But then again I have lost more $$ betting with Nevada this year then any other team so your probably going to make a bundle.
I got in at o66.5 and that's likely all i'll play from this game unless I pull NEV and the over into a teaser

I havent bet it, but I wouldn't dare take the under. This might be close to over at halftime.

Do I hear 1H o33.5??That's 5 TDs or 4 TDs and 2 FGs

I took CIN +4.5 -110 at RB last night. And during my free time today I was seeing the same line, a full point above what everyone else was offering. Then it went to 4.5 -105! Which one of you guys unloaded on Louisville earlier today?! :D ;)

Nevada been putting a hurt on me too a bit. Offsetting some nice gains i've had on Northwestern and Northern IL. I like them both again tomorrow.

Clemson, Bama, Oregon 1H, NIU, Fresno - all have been $$ this year. If only I never bet anything else.

Ugh, the hedge was only +125 at the time so I let it ride too. Was really concerned with Bumgarner last night but didn't like the payout on Det. At this point I think if Det wins game 3 it'll be similar odds to before game 2 and i'll reconsider at that time. For now going for it.Thanks Queso!

In on the Nevada 1h and game over also. I'm bored
Yeah, I have a stupid number of plays on tonight's games considering how little I care about the teams and how reasonable the lines seem. Purely betting for entertainment at this point...well, that and hopefully winning some money2 prop bets at 1u each1u Nevada -2 1H1u Nevada/AF longest TD u62.51u Nevada/AF o66.51u Cincinnati ML +1450.5u parlay UC+3.5, UC/Louisville o53, Nevada -3.5, Nevada/AF o680.5u Teaser UC +9.5, UC/UoL o47, Nevada +2.5, Nevada/AF o62

Alright, i need a little help with Realbettors here. Can anybody in their right mind explain to me when i go on the main page and the best we can do is get a picture of Westbrook in an Eagles jersey? Don't get me wrong, I like the homage to my man, but shouldn't we up the budget and get a picture of a guy who is currently playing? Where is all my money going Kurt????? :P

(sorry, this is me doing paperwork on a Friday, needing a break. And i do like realbettors, and i do like putting my money into a book that gives some love to the Eagles. If we can throw a picture of Brian Dawkins or Andre Waters on there at any time.....)

Abernathy hit the turbo button on that TD run for UC.

Looked like a stop for a loss until he turned on the afterburners, got the edge and outran the D in pursuit

Nevada can't stop Air Force right now. Gonna have to make some adjustments

As I type that AF scores a long TD

17-7, not looking good for that Nevada -2 1H bet

Nevada always starts slow. I think they have a punchers chance to put up 14 this quarter, question is can they make a stop.
