I bet a prop today that SB incorrectly graded. It should have been a win, instead they graded it as a loss.I got on chat, and pointed out the mistake, which was an easy one to make. The guy I knew seemed to know soccer, and he agreed that I was right. The right thing to do there is to grade that prop correctly for everyone, right? Instead, the guy says "I'll credit the amount of the bet back to your account", ostensibly screwing everyone else over.I dunno about these guys..

Sometimes you really have to lay in to those p###ks. There was a golf tourney earlier this yr that ended on Monday instead of Sunday. They mistakenly graded all the bets on Sunday night. I had like 3 parlays working (matchups, with one being a 20 for 2 units). The dumbf### that is assisiting me tells me that if a wager looks like it gonna lose, they grade it before sometimes. I start laughing my ### off at they guy. Tell him how long i've been booking bets at SB, and never, EVER, have events been graded before they are finished. I ask to talk to his superior. I get someone else. Before the guy types anything, I ask to talk to the head of props/golf person. He tells me he is the highest ranking person there right now. He starts to defend the first guy saying they will grade bets that look like losers before they are finished. Then I go off. Nobody likes to be a p###k for no reason. But, I really enjoyed being a ja#of# at this moment. I give them links supporting what I was saying (pgatour.com leaderboard). And they kept on trying to defend their stansce. The other two parlays lose out, but the 20 for 200 had 2 golfers come back on monday and win their matchup. It was fun watching them eat their crow. they paid my wager out 1 day later. I still laugh about the "we sometimes grade wagers out before they are finished. What a bunch of maroons.
 
I keep thinking this is a good sport for Cincinnati at home getting more than a field goal.

Any thoughts?

I like the bengals here too. Denver playing much better of later but still not the best traveling team. Also,way too much nutleaching on manning. A couple of patriot fans i know were saying how glad they played them earlier in yr while manning was still learning they system, yada yada. one of the few home dogs i like today.

I'm going 2 units on a 6 point teaser Dallas 10.5, Eagles +9.

If Dallas covers I'm going to try and buy a 2 unit ticket on saints -2.5.

usually i am not a big fan of bumping winners, but i think you can do it here. nice job, and luckily i was on the same side as a lot of these. I got a bunch on the Falcons right now as the last leg of teasers and some other stuff, so i am hoping they come through like they should

So do they not believe in the undefeated falcons, giving too much respect to the Cowboys, or they just begging you to take the Falcons? I don't know why this line isn't higher. :shrug:

my guess is people are banking on the Falcons having to lose at some point. In my opinion, I definitely don't think it is tonight with no Demarco Murray and Sean Lee. The Falcons secondary can get burned a bunch, but they also can gamble a lot and luckily with Romo it should pay off well. I got a bunch riding to win with teh falcons, and now i am just thinking if i need to hedge or not :coffee: I'm thinking let it ride....ETA: the line has moved quite a bit too. I got it originally at -3, and for it to move to 4.5 means that a lot of money had to come in on the Falcons

I have the Eagles on the second leg of five teasers. Thinking of adding Saints for 2u looking for a middle but protecting my first legs.

Are you sure it isn't just because you hate the Cowboys? ;)I played a $40 teaser today...4 out of 6 won, still have DAL +10 and PHI +9 to go. Last week I lost by 0.5 on Chicago, so hopefully this week turns out better.
 
Am I crazy for thinking that A&M is in play at +14 1/2 or better? I don't think Johnny Football sweats too much and this is a letdown spot if there ever was one for the Tide.

Thoughts?

And the line just slid back to 4.I just added .8 of a unit on the Dallas ML.

Opened at 17, or so i hear. sportsbook don't have it up yet. I said if there was a team to beat Bama that A&M would be it a few weeks ago, and I stand by that.

Without a doubt, yes. It is funny, i don't really have too much homerism when it comes to betting the Eagles, and my tendency to bet against the over-rated Cowpokes comes through a ton more. I do like the Cowboys in teaser legs, and my guess why the line slid back to +10 at some books (mainly RB) is because of the teaser effect with them at +10.5
 
I had about 10 units riding on Dallas in teasers, parlays, and a ML bet.

Decided to hedge with a big bet on ATL -4 for the game and a smaller bet on ATL-3 in the first half.

Also tailing TF on a 2-team teaser for 2 units on Over 41.5 tonight and Over 45.5 tomorrow night.

 
Anyone think there's value in Obama for Virginia and/or Colorado?

Sportsbook lists both as a toss up but 538 rates Obama as about a 70% favorite in each.

Where did you get the line at 3? The SHARPS report, as an example, disagrees with you wholeheartedly, GB."DALLAS AT ATLANTA: ... Atlanta opened at -4.5, but has been bet down to -4. Stat guys who believe turnovers regress to the mean are enthusiastic about Dallas posting some results in the coming weeks. The Cowboys have playoff caliber raw stats but a horrible turnover differential. Sharps who think Tony Romo is a turnover machine aren’t betting the Cowboys."

Also of note, Steve Smith had the best TD dance this weekend imo hth.

My bad, i only did a quick look through my plays. I got Atl -3 1st half, not for the game.

I would love to know if anybody plays any of these. I tried playing some Obama plays at sportsbook with what i had left in my acct. there, and everything i tried was a $10 limit. I asked them about it, and they said it was a system decision, and nothing to do with my account. They said they would send an email to follow up, but i would love to know if anybody is able to play any of those plays for more than $10
