FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Are Stuckey's year-by-year results avail anywhere?
No idea. But he doesn't have almost 10K Twitter followers by accident.
I wouldn't follow him blindly with your money. He does and says some really dumb stuff.
I'm like 6-3 tailing him, not bad. Like I said earlier though, the whole USC conversation from the past weekend scared me off. No offense to anyone here who liked USC also, but I think that was a play people make based almost solely on emotional factors (huge upset, determines NCG team, road game, recent history, etc.). I make those picks all the time too, but I'm also no tout or internet gambling sensation.

He mentioned a "revenge" game the other day, and that set off some alarm bells. Teasing from 12 to 17.5 in CBB is also another red flag. He's a young guy, and he's brash, but he doesn't seem to have the same dispassionate, analytical view that a guy like haralabob.Of course, haralabob doesn't post picks. :kicksrock:

I'm no internet gambling sensation.
don't sell yourself short, gb
I can't even get to what is in my wheelhouse right now: NHL :kicksrock: CFB usually my best, NHL 2nd, NFL 3rd and then I'm fairly useless on everything else. I'm so bad at the NBA that even the sure bets I tail lose. I wish I could get into baseball betting, I'm great at team win totals and World Series futures but the day to day stuff doesn't appeal to me.Is haralabob the card player?

Yes. Sticks strictly to NBA, and by all accounts makes a whole lot of money. He collects and mines a ton of data, to the point where I think he hires people to chart games for him.

If I followed and played all his picks I'd bankrupt him in three weeks.

Haralabos and Jay Caspian Kang did a podcast together on the Grantland network over the summer, they talk about how he got his start in gambling. He took a pretty decent chunk of change (70K or so if memory serves me correctly) and put it on a Lakers future bet during the Shaqobe days. He talks about that and his operation in general, it is an extremely interesting listen. http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/34243/b-s-report-guest-host-jay-caspian-kang

my ex gf from last december is texting me emotionally. gonna have to change my number like kobe and jordan
Just work her into the rotation with #1 and #2...
I just confirmed my date with her tonight. Tomorrow night #1 and I are dressing up and going out to a high end place for expensive drinks. And for my b-day on Thursday I am spending the evening with #2 who bought me a bunch of gifts and "stayed up all night" writing my birthday card.I'm just rolling w Illinois-Chicago tonight at the number I got earlier. With all the freshmen and they way they have shot the ball so far I have no problem at all fading NIU basketball.

I actually like it better that the day-to-day of ChainsawU's harem is only shared with we the FFA Wagering Thread. Makes this an all-inclusive, make yourself at home and kick your feet up kind of thread.Keep up the good Lord's work there, GB

Not sure what the odds are but I can't think a bet on Michigan to win it all would be a terrible play. Best team I've seen this year. WOW.

Harvard VA Tech over 119.5Another opposite of gussy. gl
Good play bud. Nice that Harvard decides to not play defense in the first half and then shoot the lights out from 3 in the 2nd. Ugh. Teams went under the number last year and I don't have either as being as good offensively as they were last year. Vermont lost most of their team. Oh well. Next.

stupid FSU should have given up much earlier in that game. looked good until the last 5 or 6 minutes.
First my Noles lose in devastating fashion to the Gators this weekend....now they are costing me $$ on meaningless fouls?! :wall:

:goodposting: The guy is good at marketing himself and making himself seem like a winner, but he makes some horrible mistakes. He also sometimes cheats at his lines by posting things that were either never available or available at 1 book for like 30 seconds. Pretty much amateur hour imo. Be careful with him.

I'm not going to send him $3k via paypal, I'll be ok Dad.

If you have your own place, and are single, you should spring for brand new carpet. And keep it clean. Girls go crazy for little things like soft clean carpeting.

GooRoo (or anyone else)... Is Manziel for the Heisman worth a shot at +1200? He's putting up some stupid numbers on the ground.http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/ncaaf/2012/10/15/heisman-survey-geno-smith-braxton-miller-collin-klein/1634233/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+sportsmain+%28Sports+-+Flipboard%29
Pass imo. He'd likely have to beat LSU and Bama and sustain his outstanding numbers in doing so. He's getting close to a play in the +1200 to +1500 range, but not enough value for me yet.
:drive:But Klein is gonna be tough to beat.
Some ESPN schlub just declared Manziel the fave if Calvin Klein and K-St lose tonight
I think I'm gonna be sick.

Yeah, those lines are up-to-the-minute at SB.I'm not blaming GR. Nobody could have foreseen the other candidates being decidedly mediocre.

I agree with you man. I think. Wasn't this Heisman race pretty much undecided until late. With a bunch of defensive guys in the mix as well. And didn't someone already say just a few days ago, when we were discussing units and whatnot, that you have to gauge who you tail by feel anyway..

Well, a freshman has never won the Heisman. Not even a redshirt freshman. That was the main reason I passed.

Guess there's a first time for everything.

Still wouldn't count out Te'o.
