Only problem with LVH is its off the strip and fairly far if I remember correctly. It sits on a nice golf course but you'll have to make a day out of visiting it although I've heard only read good reviews.I've heard the Las Vegas Hilton book has the biggest selection of props. You go into a casino every single day and extract their money, they are going to notice. Or they are not doing their job.I can't imagine any Vegas casino would ban a bunch of humps who are betting props, no matter HOW hot you get.
I suppose there might be some heat if you are taking $5K out of there every night, but if it's 1/10 of that, I can't imagine anyone would care. How would they even notice you, anyway? Are you serious?
If you hit big enough to fill out the tax forms, sure. But otherwise...
Ahhh, I found our disconnect.Ideally, you don't want to go to the same place every night. The Monorail goes right to the Hilton now. You can get on/off at the Flamingo, Bally's/Paris or MGM. Pretty easy. First time I went to Vegas many years ago, I tried to go into every casino. Literally. Every one. I just wanted to get the vibe from each one for a few minutes. After the first day, I made it to about 50 of them. I have never been so tired. The next night was the Adult Video Expo, which just happened to be in town that week. Anyway, if y'all are looking for the best combination of relaxed atmosphere, elegant surroundings and sexy cocktail waitress uniforms, might I suggest Bellagio.
Did the same thing my first trip there ... walked up and down the Strip and gambled at least $1 in every one we passed. I think we made it from NY/NY up to Stratosphere and back down to MGM. At least it was only about 104 degrees that day.First time I went to Vegas many years ago, I tried to go into every casino. Literally. Every one. I'm sorry to hear that.I'll bet these places don't realize the spike inThe prop options in Vegas suck, IMO.
business they would have if they listed every SB prop.I was at Cosmo last month and tried to get down on some gr props but the only ones on the board were really jacked up in price already. I thought because it was Cantor gaming that it might be different than a lot of the sports books, but no. I remember reading some article about how Cantor was going to be cutting edge on live betting / props, etc. but I didn't see it. Cosmo is a small book though (satellite office I guess) so maybe they only offer a limited amount of ####. Wow - same story. We started at the Paris and decided to WALK to the Mgm at dusk in the middle of July. My pals got smart and called it the night early. Me and one other guy crossed the street to NYNY, follow some who-ha's over to mandalay bay and then waked all the way down to Caesars and then crossed the street and walked back to Paris. On the way in at 6:30 AM my pal stopped at the desk and bought us a cabana by the pool and we went back up and woke up all our pals and I slept by the pool. Ahh the good old days.First time I went to Vegas many years ago, I tried to go into every casino. Literally. Every one. I just wanted to get the vibe from each one for a few minutes. RB has their lines up (thank you Kurt!) so i made plays on most of these. Halloway isn't up yet, and i didn't play Johnson yet hoping his line comes down. the current line is -220 nor something which is too much right to play that with. I added playing Dos Santos, and Perez, and for those who like to bet on guy's who look like they could kill a small army, feel free to take Todd Duffee. Line is too high for my likingi think so too. J-Lau is a strange one though, he has looked good in spots. But Jim Miller is coming off his loss to Nate Diaz and should have a big chip on his shoulder. Only concern is J-Lau has funky BJJ, but he was only ever sub'd by Diaz, so he should avoid getting stopped. lot of rambling here, sorry about that, but yeah, Miller at anything around -200 should be gold.it's a tough betting card, lot of close fights. i know bloody elbow hasn't mentioned any picks yet so i can't copy from them (Speaking of which, and I'd wait for modogg to weigh in but that price of -205 on Jim Miller isn't going to get any lower and I'm going to put 2 units on it now (with mo's blessing). I think I've seen all of Joe Lauzons fights. I like him, but whenever he's faced a upper tier fighter, he's lost. He's been beating down patsies so farin his career and losing in big spots.
I think Miller picks him apart), but i'm leaning Belcher, Boetsch, Leban, Halloway, Johnson and Wineland for now. haven't looked too much into the card yet, but if the odds are close to even with those guys i like them.
FWIW, stayed at the LVH (former Hilton, and biggest sportsbook) and the only detailed props they had were for the SNF and MNF games. IIRC, they did have team totals for the bigger gamesI haven't been to Vegas since '08. Are there sportsbooks now that you can walk into and play the same props that SB has listed? If so, I say we all move there, rent a sweet penthouse and live off of GooRoo's plays. And then Ref's SOG props if the NHL ever comes back. We'll be swimming in steak, lobster and whores! (Basically Chainsaw's life, only in Vegas)
It's abosolutely no frills, but is the best place to gamble on sports IMO. In addition to the huge sportsbook, they also set up their theatre for NFL games (and I assume they do this for march madness), where they have every game on a huge screen plus mobile betting windows and $2 draft. Also, they have a smaller side room (seats about 30) with comfy chairs and is no smoking. we watched the college games there on Saturday all day and it was great.Only problem with LVH is its off the strip and fairly far if I remember correctly. Yes, they do set up the theatre for March Madness. It was great. I enjoyed being on the sportsbook floor on Day 1, but after a while I couldn't take the cigarette smoke any more. It's abosolutely no frills, but is the best place to gamble on sports IMO.
