Town is abuzz with impending terrible news for some major UT players. Nothing firm, but I just put 3u on Or St. -3.5 in anticipation of a line jump.

Texas coach Mack Brown, in a news conference a day before the Valero Alamo Bowl against Oregon State, said Friday that two players have been suspended and sent home for breaking team rules. He did not identify the players or say which rules had been broken.

On Friday morning, KENS-TV in San Antonio quoted San Antonio police as saying that two Texas players were being investigated regarding sexual assault allegations.

No charges have been filed. A copy of a police report emailed to ESPN.com states the alleged incident occurred Friday from 2 to 2:40 a.m. All names beyond the officers involved have been redacted.

Brown declined to say whether the suspended players were starters. He said he would meet with the team this afternoon to explain the situation, and "then you move forward. You have policies that you go by."

Two University of Texas football players have been suspended on the eve of tomorrow's Alamo Bowl because of charges of sexual assault, it was reported today. No names were given, but the police report says one suspect is white, 21, six foot tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The other is black, 6'2 and 235 lbs.

It's been reported San Antonio police are investigating accusations of sexual assault against the players that happened at about 2:40 a.m today. The alleged victim is said to be a 21-year-old Texas Tech student who was staying at the Riverwalk Holiday Inn. She reportedly told police that she met the two players at a club last night and invited them to her hotel room.

In a press conference this morning, Coach Mack Brown said both accused unnamed players have been suspended "for breaking team rules." Team curfew is presumably midnight.

He has coached this way all year. Their kicker is only 5/8 or I guess 5/9 after the block FG for a reason. They didn't kick FG's in OT vs Arkansas or Auburn either.

Techa Tech/Minny OVER should be a good play. I think the number has softened due to Techa Tech's coaching situation but preparing for Minnesota's D should not be that challenging. Techa Tech can score 55 on their own, I think that is a solid play. Also added on to Navy +14.5, I think that is a game where Navy has all the motivation and they keep it relatively close while keeping ASU's offense off the field. Michigan State plays every game close and those two teams are teams I watch a lot. Neither has any kind of QB but they can run and play defense. It'll be a one score game, Michigan State is probably a good ML play at +115.
