FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (8 Viewers)

Also have Blackhawks -110 and O5.5What's this SOG trend I've been hearing about? Can someone please explain it to me like I'm a degenerate alcoholic?

Djoker at plus ev to win is a great bet. Stan wore him out today but he has unbelievable stamina.I'm still pulling for Ferrer here obviously because that'd make me rich,

Djoker was grabbing at his back toward the end of the match. Just make sure there's nothing serious going on before you double down there

Shouldn't the winds/gusts die down some in the evening? That's usually the case, no? I ask because I might put 5 million on the over and I see it dropped to 51. I have to think that rises before kick when all the drunks and chasers hit it and hope, just like last week.
According to the Baltimore weather people and weather.com, winds will diminish throughout the day but still be around 15mph at game time. Maybe it impacts FGs but not sure how that really affects the Patriots short passing game or Baltimore's screen game. Always thought people overrated the weather in football, unless it's a flooded field or 50mph winds. Dunno.

ML parlay of 49ers (-190)/Patriots (-355) pays almost even money at SBAlso, RB totals have remained steady at 48.5/51.5 but I've seen them both drop at SB and 5D.

I'm back from Philly! Took enough harassment for an entire abbreviated hockey season!Went to Dinics on Saturday and the Terminal Market was slammed!Of course the Lakers look like garbage bc I took them.As a Niners fan, I don't like laying the points but do agree that Vernon Davis has a monster game. Heard the VP of MGM Resorts on the satellite radio on the wy home say that Randy Moss to score 1st TD is getting hit pretty hard. Vegas needs both home teams in order to not get it handed to them.It is super windy all over PA and NY - cant imagine it gets any better up in Foxboro. I'm in on the under, nervous it might be a 3 pt game.As far as tennis goes I wish my boy would have taken down the Joker...would have helped our Ferrer chances. Pretty excited that I know nothing about tennis and am still sitting on Gasquet and Ferrer tickets! :excited:

Ravens are only here b/c of their deep passing game and I think Flacco is possibly the best deep ball passer in the league. If there's wind, I think that hurts them.Agree that it shouldn't impact the Patriots much.

When you fire mortars you have to adjust for wind, same thing with a long pass.

Took the Falcons +4, and the over 48. 1 rack each. Also 1/2 rack on there being no FG under 26.5 yards because I like screaming for random crap to happen. And Pats -9 but I really just want that stadium to explode. I suck at betting on everything but college hoops and horses, but it's fun!

well, after tallying up all my bets from throughout the week, I realized I was a bit too heavy on ATL and BAL with the points (mostly teased) so I tried to balance things out a bit today. Two close games won by the favorites will provide a very nice middle. I got smoked trying to pick the totals last week so I'm treading lightly there this week.

Definitely not as windy as it was a couple of hours ago. It was cloudy and pretty gusty. Winds have died down and sun is out. Still a bit windy, but nothing to see here.

Just a quick PSA: I finally got around to watching Archer on Truck's recommendation. When I was looking around for a good streaming site, I stumbled upon this: http://www.thedarewall.com/tv/tv-shows

I kind of live under a rock, so forgive me if that site is already well known.

It's pretty incredible. Tons of movies and TV shows for free. It kicks HULU's ass.
Was it good?
I'm only a few episodes in, but it's holding my interest so far. Clever writing.

I posted this in the NHL thread but probably have a better chance at getting a response here. Is it just me or do the Flyers look slow and/or lethargic these two games?

Sabres should be safe chalk tomorrow and at a good price. Also will be on the Oilers for sure.
 Flyers won't go 0-2. i get the whole 2 games in a row deal, but Flyers looked good, should win this one
:coffee:
this game is a joke. I love Hartnell getting a penalty for getting shoved into Miller, that was a horrendous call. 2 horrendous calls to end this game. Oh well...

I thought they looked good in the 2nd. I think everyone is going to be lethargic in the 3rd for a while.

It was a bad call, and so was the goalie interference that waved off the goal in the 1st. That being said, Hartnell is a #####. I think we can all agree on that, right?

if Hartnell was on any other team i would agree. Officials screwed this game the last 6 minutes of this period

Few NBA plays because I'm really trigger happy today:Magic +3 1/2 (-115)Nuggets +1Den/OKC under 209 (-115)bet enough to win 1/2 basketball unit on each

***ALERT***

The kickers in Sunday's AFC Championship Game between the Baltimore Ravens and the New England Patriots better hope a trip to the Super Bowl doesn't hinge on a long field-goal attempt in the final moments. The winds are swirling in Foxboro, Mass.

Winds whipped around Gillette Stadium at 18 miles per hour at 3 p.m. ET, and Weather.com forecasts gusts up to 36 mph. The Patriots tweeted a photo of the practice-field goalposts being bent in the wind.

We'll see if the wind affects the passing game, but both quarterbacks Joe Flacco and Tom Brady like to drive the football. It's the kickers (and punt returners) that should be concerned.

buy the 8ers down 10 here??
49ers +3 (-120) on Bovada. I'm just going to ride this Falcons first half bet and see how I feel at half. Hard to make a judgement when SF has only had one possession. That being said, it looks like Ryan is going to be able to throw all day on these guys.

No problem to us professionals.
