FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (9 Viewers)

Bet of the night was Ref > 1 bottle of wine.

I got a Rhone Vally french Red mis marked (or I think it was) for $3.99 Tasty stuff!

alright, grabbing ov1.5 -140 2nd period. I dno't have any faith in Fleury, and i would think the Bruins don't sit on the puck just yet. hoping the Pens can squeeze one out too, but even if they don't i still like it
Pens look like they are toast in this series as well, looks similar to the Flyers series last year

I got three unexpected texts from an old flame while I was in class tonight. She is married but still has my number. Texting usually means that she is lonely, and from glancing at the messages it looked typical of the “miss you” texts I usually get, but upon further inspection it turns out her Yorkie got smushed by a bus.

Alright, some of us have had Heat futures for months at just about even money. You know who you are.

Spurs +190

Heat -220

Anyone considering hedging to lock in a profit? Or let it ride?

Question is, what will game 1 look like. I think the Heat will be ok, but Spurs may be a little bit rusty. Might get a better opportunity after game 1 if the Heat win and the line looks a lot better

Is there any way the Lakers don't play the Heat in the finals?
OKC has a pretty good squad. Nash is old, Kobe is old, dwight coming off back problems
I personally think the best value is San Antonio at +1700. I am still unsure how they lost to OKC last year in a seven game series (I know you had SAS big too). They are deeper than OKC and they would have matched up much better with Miami. That being said, LA-MIA would be the highest watched championship ever. Funny things happen in the NBA when there is a lot of money at stake.

Go Spurs If I held a Heat ticket, I would buy some of the Spurs especially at their current price. They have the better coach, more depth, and are too experienced to be nearly a 2 to 1 dog. James is undoubtedly the best player in the game, but Miami sleepwalks at times - in addition, I'm not sure Wade is 100% and his teammates disappeared often against the Indiana. It was mentioned about the Spurs being rusty game 1 but it has also given one of the best coaches in the game a week to key on what to do to stop James. The Spurs also are not going to struggle on the road as badly as Indiana did. From a strictly odds standpoint, this series should be closer to a coin flip.

There were times in the last series that it seemed like Parker and Duncan were worn down inn the 3rd and 4th Qs, kind of like Durant in the previous series. you see any of that happening here?

Still holding a very large Heat -110 ticket thanks to your recommendation a few months back.Letting it ride.

I stand to haul back in a rack after the bet i placed when you recommended the Heat at -140. The shark move is to live in So Florida where you can get a high roller degen poker player to take the heat vs the field at 10-1. I stand to come out slightly ahead if the Spurs win, but it's negligible.I tip my cap sir, no matter how it turns out.

Why don't you guys show your face in the baseball forum? We have a lot of fun over there.

DD is the current forum leader in shtick, but I'm due to come out of my slump.

Yeah, it's not trendy to bet on the Marlins, but I really like Nolasco tonight. He likes Citizens Bank, going 6-2, 3.31 there, and the Fish have found their hitting stroke, scoring five or more runs in five of their last eight.

+150

Also playing an Angels/Fish Phils u7.5 parlay at +185

YTD: +3.53

The set up by team makes it a pain the ####, because I don't really care how Seattle is doing generally speaking. The closer thread is very useful for fantasy.

I will allow everything else except that which is bolded. I don't think anyone in the NBA is deeper than the Heat.

also....NOBODY STOPPED JAMES.

According to Johnny D Heat will be favorites by 5 in each of the first two games, Spurs by 2 in San Antonio...books think Heat in 6.

Why am I paying for Showtime? Dexter's last season and then out of that.

Only Brewers tonight, no hockey as I'm heavily invested in Kings already.

Mrs Hot Nugs likes Nurse Jackie. The Big C was good but it hit close to home for us so it may not have been good otherwise. Dexter is the shizzzz

I plan to pick it up a month before finale...catch up On Demand and then keep it for Homeland

The Borgas was worth the watch.

Hopefully some of you have the Red Sox and/or the over. They just tacked on the 2-point conversion.

Grimm got raped in that phone booth.
