Kind of torn on which way to go in SD. Hamels is from SD and has good history at the park, but only has history versus four of the batters in the starting lineup. And it feels wrong laying money with the Phil's bullpen in a game with a low total that may come down to the wire.

Read this on the Next Level Notes, but SF really misses Pagan in the lineup:
In at-bats that end with a curveball, Clayton Kershaw has the lowest opponent batting average (.045) and OPS (.091) of any MLB pitcher that has thrown at least 75 curves this season. Opponents are 0-13 against his curveball in his last three games with 10 strikeouts. The Giants have the third-highest OPS (.615) against curveballs in the NL. link

He's gotta lot of money for lawyers with that $12.5 million bonus he just got. Who knows, maybe he played so hard to get the bonus so he could snuff a guy to see if he could beat it. Maybe he takes a million and plays the +4000.

Lots of potential markets you could set here:
1) Does he plea out during trial before jury verdict? All bets action.
2) Is he acquitted on Murder Charges/Gun Charges/Convicted on all counts?
3) O/U Length of jury deliberation 2 days
4) Hung Jury Y/N
I'm sure you'd never see these in Vegas, but I'm sure some bookie in Costa Rica wouldn't be above offering these. If they previously offered the Little League World Series and O/U electoral college totals for Presidential elections, no reason we can't get down on this somehow.

I love it.
Bender comes in last night asking for a tournament tag in because these things go way too late, esp for the $450 max win.

Then he comes in here this afternoon and asks for people to sign up for the 8PM PLO tournament, as it will be so much fun.
Now it's midnight, and yeah I'm at the final table. Problem is the structure is horrible and everyone has 25K in chips and the blinds just finally hit 300-600. This thing aint getting over till 3AM.

If you win it will all feel better. I had so many nights like that back in the day, but all in all i lost too much back then to begin to bridge that gap to playing online poker again. I did make 18.5Million on my poker game on my phone

Nice haul.
Final table is going faster then expected we down to three and I'm the chip leader. About 15 minutes ago I was down 72K, 40K, 30K, 6K. Thats right I had 4% of the chips in play and now I'm the chip leader.

A set of steak knives....... $367 richer.
Almost jumped though the computer and murdered a guy three handed. Had a guy down to 7K in chips. I had second low. On the river with hearts out the freaking other guy with chips JAMS for 40K. I figure he has nut nut and fold second low. He had nutz alright.... second nut hearts and NO LOW. small stack had a 2-7 low. Guy came all the way back and won the whole thing... I was actually happy for him. I laughed my ### off at the guy who jammed, Cost himself at least $125, if not $275.

I think it's a good show...Season 4 is excellent. Some of the last few seasons have just been OK, but it's better than 90% of the crap on TV

I figured thats exactly what happened, but thought it was funny that I was in the same boat.
There is some real value in those tournaments... I could see myself making the final table quite often. Too bad it wasn't a $60 buy in or so, the pay out just isn't worth the time.

You can Polish middle Shane Larkin on 5D and SB, and hope the C's don't take him. Not with Rondo on board, I assume.

I agree, I don't think the C's take Larkin, but I've seen multiple reports that have them being interested in/drafting a PG with the likelihood that Rondo will be traded in the rebuilding process.

Even more reasoning for Len to Cleveland from this article: The Cavaliers even hired Vitaly Potapenko, a former Cavaliers center also from Ukraine, as a player-development coach, leading many to believe the move was made to smooth the transition for Len.
