HiWe have a bridge jumper at Hollywood.The Phantom Plunger has returned with a $250,000 show bet on Obviously in the Shoemaker mile. Race goes in a couple of minutes.

The guy added another 150K as they were going into the gate. Pocket change. $400,000 total. Can't remember a bigger bet than that on a pony. Horse won for fun and the *Phantom Plunger gets 5% in a minute and a half for a cool 20K profit.

Seriously, I give up. The Sox have been scoring a million runs lately. Today... getting shut out at home in the 7th against a very average pitcher despite a 25-mph wind blowing out to center. I will NEVER figure this game out.

I just took my second shot of Jameson's. My girlfriend is watching Rushmore (I am too, kind of) because I just happened to notice it was on, love it, and she's never seen it. She's having a couch day and this is working for her. Angels and Astros have 9, push at worst.
Also drinking Vodka with seltzer/Diet Hansen's Tangerine and Orange. It's insanely good and the only thing I drink at home anymore when I'm not doing shots.

JB, I honestly think I already posted all my favorite slow jams last time we did this.
"All the Things" by Joe is still my favorite. I used to kill that at karaoke, but then I had throat surgery for sleep apnea and I can't hit certain notes anymore. :( The apnea surgery can literally be a life-saver, but it sucks not having the same voice anymore.

Understandable. I'm all over the place with the music I like, and can totally get why others won't like them. I think you just kind of have to hear them at the right time, right song, right bong and so on.
That said - I've seen a lot of shows, and they were top 5 live. They killed when they weren't too hammered.
