FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (18 Viewers)

Who do we like in Collegiate Gridiron to win it all this year?

Alabama +310 (-370 the Field)

Buckeyes +775

Oregon +900

Texas A&M +1375

Georgia +2400

LSU +1800

Stanford +2500

Louisville +2200

Clemson +2700

Florida +2900

Florida State +2500

South Carolina +2900

Notre Dame +6500

Sorry if this has been done already.
As far as who wins it's the team that wins the SEC, and that's Bama as far as I can tell. Maybe Georgia, maybe A&M.I think the "best bet" is for Ohio State to make the NC game. I just think betting OSU only to hedge come Jan 10th isn't profitable at +775
Don't sleep on Teddy and Louisville.
Don't sleep on them as far as making the game you mean? I can get with that.

As far as winning the game, I think they are >3 TD dogs to Bama if they make it and 17 points to Georgia or A&M.

College ball cont.... I haven't looked at it all the way though yet, but "the value" is on Georgia or A&M to win it all.

Any SEC team is gong to be a big favorite in the NC game, ex if it's SEC vs SEC. Thats just a fact that nobody is going to talk me out of.

With A&M you need to hope they can beat Bama at home and then beat LSU late in the year on the road. Anything but an undefeated season means bama wins (who can stomach 1 loss).

With Georgia you just hope they can beat Bama in the SEC championship game. They get SC, Florida AND LSU at home.

My wife went on an errand and I'm supposed to mow the lawn. It's bloody hot out. Think I'm going to bag it. Do I just tell her it was too hot, or say the mower's out of gas?

Brazil's backline is suspect, but they havent really been tested. Spain is obviously going to do that. And the bigger factor is Brazil, imo, is built to counterattack and they have no choice but to counter attack today. Spain will win the possession battle for the 765th game in a row or whatever and Brazil's only touches will be on the counter....I think this should be a simple -110/110 over under and I am seeing +125 and +130. Ill take that all day.

Thanks guys. I'm thinking going in on the Buckeyes, Louisville, Georgia and Alabama. Alabama is basically a hedge against the other 3. Sound good?

No, as far as them winning it all. The Cards are already sniffing the Top-5 before the season even begins. Now look at their schedule. This has 12-0 written all over it. A couple of teams above them will surely stumble, and *IF* they make it to the title game, I would put nothing past Bridgewater. He is absolutely phenomenal. And of course you could always find a way to hedge.

Degen Nascar plays. Played these yesterday before rainout. Truex finishing position under 13.5 -130. Speed Row 2 Truex +350, (+300 now). Mathcups Kenseth over Kahne +125. Kenseth over Hamlin -110. Biffle -110 over Stewart. Kenseth to win @ 12/1.
F YEAH!! On the last caution, Kenseth only picks up fuel, JJ running a monster race with easily the best car (led almost whole race) takes on 2 tires as did most other drivers. Kenseth is 1st off pitt road and hangs on the last 16 laps. UNBELIEVABLE.

If they had a "will make game" future, they would make a great bet. I agree about the 12-0.

Not a chance they beat an SEC team in the NC game. They would be better then 27-1 though.

Agree to disagree. Johnny Football and not much else beat Bama last year. Why can't Teddy?

I rained here last night so I will be doing some mowing in the near future. Mowing isn't as bad as having to pick up all the trash that the people walking through my 'hood leave behind. Among the ridiculous things I have removed from my front yard have been playing cards, female hygeine items, and a pair of men's work boots. And of course there is always the random beer bottle thrown in and the lottery scratch-off tickets are never winners.

Today I told this girl on match that I would take her out sometime and she emailed me her phone# and said she didn't have plans tonight.

She is texting from Baby A's, which is famous for their Everclear margaritas, and is having a "Great Time!!!!" She asked what I was doing tonight and I told her I had a little homework due but that it was no big deal.

We are going to have to about the "Not much else". A&M gets big boy recruits and big boy talent. Every starter on A&M is either top 100 out of high school or junior college according to Phil Steele. Last year it was the same plus they had Joeckel.

The Vile has TB. He was the 7th rated QB out of HS and an excellent college player who will go top 10 next April (now May). The have the #2 TE in his HS class. Other then that they have 4 other starters in the aforementioned top 100. TB can hang with SEC talent and they have a few other guys that can as well. But if you look at the level of talent across the O line and the D as a whole most SEC teams will just be in a different class.

Bama is even more ridiculous. Every starter is a top 30 player and has a backup just as good ready to step in.

Like I said though - wouldn't surprise me in the least to see them in the game. They should POUND that schedule.

Upsets happen every day.

I think UL goes 12-0 and then you take your free money on a hedge in the title game. I think you could figure out a way to lock in +800 in the title game, maybe better.

I guess it comes down to if you think +800 or so is a fair price for UL to go undefeated....and get into the title game.

Bought these burger patties from my butcher a little while ago... they have jalapeno, cheddar and onions blended right into the beef.

HFS.

That's all I have to say about that.

This is weird. Most Sunday nights in the spring, there aren't enough DVRs in the house to record all the great shows that are on.

Now none of them are on, unless you like True Blood, which is kinda meh...

If she's 6-7+, she's hurting for it. If she's < 6, she's still hurting for it, but you should probably sprint in the other direction upon visual confirmation.

I'd play it that way, can't hurt, right?

That game was right after their last minute win at LSU. They came out asleep down 20-0 and still came within a few plays of winning the game. I don't think they lose that game if its not following LSU

I usually try to record movies I would never rent off of FX, USA, etc. during the summer stale months. I have Rush Hour 3 and Beyond A Reasonable Doubt saved. I watched Deception the other night - wasn't bad

Are you hitting this hard at other books? I know ZERO about tennis

The Braves have won 71% of their games at home this season. Should I be betting on every Braves home game based on virtue that it's a High Percentage bet? Probably would be smart to parlay them as well, right?
