I don't know bud, I am beginning to wonder if GR has become Mr. 2000-late. Looks like we got a new sheriff in town, Mr. bmj I never really played those hits+runs+errors, but kind of digging them when they lose.

And of course GR will always be the champ here, would be fun if we could dig up the wagering thread that existed before this one started. Lot of sweet nights when sportsbook let all of us play

5dimes will work, you just have to get ready to play most of the lines at -200 because they are super sensitive to some of the plays. it's a tricky system

i like Kurt and all, but RB easily has the worst odds on future plays i have ever seen. The Real Madrid play is -175 there, and the Manchester U is +110 . that is way beyond trying to have sharper lines, it's simply insanity

Industry is down. 2-3 years ago I'd agree with you but I'm not so sure anymore. Most sites that do offer props are going to cut you almost immediately if you bet them. It's tougher to make money betting on sports today than it was a year ago IMO.

I'm in the camp that sportsbook payouts aren't "that much" worse then two years ago. The good news is they always pay, at least so far. If you can turn $500 into $7K in 3/4 of a football season then whats it matter if it takes 3 months at $2500 a whack to get it out.

I've had a few dozen payouts from the sportsbook family (Sportsbook.com, playersonly.com, bethollywood.com, and a few others) over the last 10 years. Never had an issue. Of course, some of these were with Neteller years ago. I've had a few over the last few years, and they have taken 4-6 weeks as advertised. Sadly I've been limited at all these books, so I am working through a friend's account now.

Sportsbook gets a bad rating on SBR (mostly due to some issues years ago - I believe it was correlated parlays they got burned on - and they didn't pay to those folks). And most people ask why you would ever play with a book that takes 4-6 weeks to pay, but its a book that you can beat. I'd much rather play at a book I can beat and wait 4-6 weeks for payouts, then play at a book that is sharp with their lines and offers limited props.

You can beat Sportsbook's props, halftime props, live betting, and futures, it really isn't that hard, and if you need help, shoot GR an email.

the killer with sportsbook that i remember was from a few years ago. Might have been when the economy started going south, but the issues they had were with some bank they worked with. and i know things are always worse after the SB

Backlog at SB seems to be relieved. I think they were having issues with third-parties to process payments. But I've been getting checks from them lately. FWIW.

I wouldn't back Westbrook tonight. In his last three games he went 7IP with 0 strikeouts against Miami, gave up 6ER in 4IP at Oakland, and gave up 4ER in 6IP at Houston. He only strikes out 3.57 per 9IP with a WHIP of 1.35 and his ERA-FIP is -1.39.

And after listening to the game on the AM radio last night I know that StL just used their closer two nights in a row without wanting to, but that may just be confirmation bias on my part for including it here.

Anyway, the one thing I see is that Westbrook has good gb/fb (between 1.7 and 1.8 depending where you look) which he will need at Wrigley.

When I was up at like 3 this morning Cubs ML was moving back and forth between 104 and 110 pretty sharply. My first reaction was that it seemed way too low to be fighting back and forth like that versus the Cardinals. And on SBR today the consensus shows some reverse movement in favor of the Cubs.
