You guys are so selfish...these are kids trying to get an education. We can't disrupt their education just so we can have football every night!

interesting read for those using 5dimes. no idea how accurate this is.

You know i was going to pen something in here about sportsbook along these lines.

All of a sudden 99% of the population gets all prop bet limits raised and they start offering unlimited 25% deposit bonuses? Additionally all the serious poker players in the USA based out of Vegas can now play on WSOP.com and Ultimate and not on Merge? Something seems fishy.

That being said my withdrawal from last week already cleared in my checking account. I'll say this here and now. I got a boatload on season props (that thankfully are looking OK) as soon as they are paid I'm withdrawing all of it $40 fee per check or no. I'm not waiting till after the super bowl.

My SO, wants to put up surveillance camera's in our house. Not so much for intruders, but to video tape me and what i do late at night. It seems i have a sleep eating disorder, and the next day i can't recall what i ate. This is all a little weird because i've been on a little health kick and watching what i eat and working out a bit. But after a zanny sammich and a couple of cocktails, who knows wtf i am doing. I was told this morning i ate a bunch of stuff that included some chips she had packed for the girls lunch at school. No recollection of that. Also said i ate some apple pie croissant things she made. She's a little mad, but also laughing, so not a big deal. Heres my problem, I check my RB account this morning and see i made six matchup wagers on the Tour Championship. Not a good thing that i don't remember typing my name in and hitting confirm button. They were all small bets, 20-35 bucks, but man........I think i have a problem. NO MORE ZANNY SAMMICH BETS late at night. I hope a few of those hit.

The backstory on why the limits were raised....

sportsbook adjusted their software so the limits were set on the TO WIN side instead of the RISK side. Basically the limits used to be you could bet $500 on a prop no matter what the line. So if the prop was listed at -250 you could only win $250 on that prop. They adjusted it so now it doesn't matter what the line is you can win $500. When they made this software change it reset limits on older accounts that had been limited. I doubt it was intentional and I'd guess if you whack them consistently they'll just get reduced again and you may have to fight for your payout.

Until then...party time

As far as keeping funds offshore...I'd operate under the assumption that it's play money. It really can be gone at any time and there's not a thing you can do about it. If I had to rank sites it'd look like this

Bookmaker

Heritage

5dimes

betonline

anywhere else

Ok, at least i'm finding a little rhyme and reason for my bets last night. Checking SB, the numbers i got at RB were .10-.20 better than what were listed at SB. At least i was looking for value.....lol.

Yeah i think they also worked in the "max" button as well.

Even though I have wanted to, i haven't gone above "to win" 200 yet in order to try and keep below the radar.

Stucky just tweeted that since 2011, Thursday night games hit unders at a ~70% clip. Can anyone substantiate?
Scary because I just punched the ticket on Over 51.5
I was reading yesterday, i think at the SBR forum, how they think the chiefs(the best defensive team the eagles have played this yr) will control the clock and try to limit how much the philly offense is on the field. Thinking alot of dink passes and using alot of the play clock up on their possessions. Also heard the same about NC state as well. They got to keep Taj off the field somewhat if they are going to have a chance. No way can they go toe to toe.

With tonight's line at 3, I really have no lean either way. Philly should take care of business at home, but there is always the Vick factor. He could give up any home field advantage by making a couple of boneheaded plays.

The total is somewhat a crapshoot also. I'm completely baffled. Maybe I'll just fade the Astros and leave the NFL alone tonight.

The Astros "magic number" is 2.

I'm sure our boy Chainsaw can get to the bottom of this, but it seems like Thursday offensive outputs are pretty putrid

I'm laying off this one but would lean Under
I wanted to look at this too and break it down but just don't have the time. I knwo from a prop perspective Thursday night is usually my worst as over hardly ever hit. I think it was an ATl NO game last yr that everyone thought was going to be a huge shootout and ended up being a dud.

I am thinking Chiefs ML +150/U50 1U/3.76U, want to take a shot here.

I could see this being another TNF game that's low scoring, and Reid coming in with 14 years of knowledge of how to exploit every player on the roster and pulling off a road upset. Check down Alex could keep the Eagles offense off of the field and lock in the under for us by himself.

Makes sense...plus I would think the Eagles running that many plays on a short week will lead to TOs or something bad

O/U Thursdays NCAA since 2011: 33-37-1 (47.1%)

O/U Thursdays NFL since 2011: 11-17-0 (39.3%)

NFL Thursday O/U is 58-75-0 (43.6%) in the last 133 Thursday games (entire database). Maxing out the other database, NCAA Thursday O/U is 98-113-4 (46.4%) in its last 215 games.

That guy sent $1206 to 5D via WU and wound up with $944 in his account. What an asshle!

I used to have a Bet JM account and it was bought by Heritage. So according to his article Heritage = The Greek?

When greek left the US market Heritage took on all their customers

Shark pool is always full of threads saying Thursdays are good days to bench someone you are not sure about. Seems to go along with this trend.

If you have bookmaker funded

Charles +2 +105 fantasy pts over mccoy

Charles +20.5 r/r yards over mccoy

Never seen them post numbers this far off from my numbers

Rivers was snapping the ball with 2 seconds left on the play clock every single time, even when the game clock wasn't running.

Since 1996, Boise State is 11-2 SU and ATS against Fresno State, and 7-0 SU and ATS since 2006. link
This isn't a typical Fresno team.
Yeah I'm thinking of taking Fresno -3

Tempted to wait a bit but I have the feeling it's likely to go to 3.5 rather than 2.5
This series has been so lopsided over the years. If ever there was a revenge motivation, Fresno has it. I just see more talent on one side of the ball. Fresno with an excellent secondary, great offensive line, good dl, Carr, and enough other playmakers to win this game on talent alone. Add the motivation, I'm sold.

Props 22-14 +5,25

*1 Celek Under 3 rec (even) Bovada He has had 4 targets through 2 weeks and last week went catchless, Z. Ertz has 5 targets through 2 games.

*1 Alex Smith over 21.5 completions (-135) Bovada

*1 Charles over 4 receptions (-135) Bovada

*1 Vick under 46.5 rushing (-115) SB

Utah and BYU have been playing games against each other since 1922, and have played every consecutive year since 1946. During the last 20 years, Utah is 6-4 SU and 4-6 ATS at home versus BYU, as an average home favorite of 3.8 points. However, when they travel to BYU to play the game, they are 7-3 SU and 8-2 ATS as an average road dog of 5.1 points.

Since 2005, Bronco Mendenhall's first season as BYU head coach, Utah is 5-3 SU and 6-2 ATS. They are 2-2 SU and 3-1 ATS against him at his house, as an average road dog of 6.5 points. link
I like the points here too. Same angle as i have used with Utah earlier. They be getting pounded on by the pac 12 teams, they need to win all of the out of conference games to have a chance to be bowl eligible. Very familiar with instate rivals (utah st., byu) and there style of play. BYU has looked good thus far against decent teams, but give me the points in what should be a tight game that could go either way.

Been at 3.5 ever since I posted that and even saw it at 4.5 for a bit today

Usually not a big teaser guy but that +9 / U56 looks pretty good.

Andy-Power rears its hugeness.

Well, your in the right place. The amount of bets I place between 1:00 a.m. And 3:00 a.m. Is absolutely ridiculous. Just be glad you are playing them at 25-30 bucks.

And kudos to the last of the house for suggesting cameras go up. I have always wished I had the desire to keep a journal and write down what goes on my head in the middle of the night. Crazy stuff, but I could probably pawn it off for a movie or book because it is so random and out there that it could catch some interest.

Also, it's great when those bets win too. Getting lucky is always fun.

My boy LeBatard is going national on the 30th of this month....not really sure how ESPN is going to play it but check it out if you can. Nothing is for everybody....but for me this guys show is gold-especially when Bomani sits in on Thursday.
this guy is horrible
He went from a local radio show...to a national show and a daily TV show. I tend to like people looking at situations from a different perspective....but maybe i'm in the minority.

To each their own.
In general, sports radio makes me stabby. Lots of horrible guys on the airwaves out there, and the callers are even worse.
Oh god, the callers. If you ever start wondering how dumb "below average" might be, start listening to sports talk radio when they take calls, especially at night.

You have to think to yourself, "This person just waited on-hold maybe, 2+ hours. And had the time in their day to do so. To talk to the host." Says alot before they even open their mouths.

Need some help here on hedging...Have $100 on Fresno +1 (got it before the season started - thx GR!).

Do I now go $100 on BSU +3.5 hoping for a Fresno 3pt or less win to cash both? Sit pretty?

As a dealer said to my GB when we played blackjack for the first time "if you had a twenty inch **** would you cut it in half".

Sit tight GB and enjoy the ride.

yeah not really a spot to hedge/middle. I only hedge if it's last leg of a parlay/teaser and I want to guarantee profit

I really like that one, i may have to use it from time to time.

and count me in for backing the Chiefs. Reid knows this team, and should be able to gameplan to keep it at least close.

STL has bases jacked....1 out in the 15th. Need the Cards to complete the 5 way early parlay.....

hooray for double plays! oof.
