FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (3 Viewers)

Great day today, gents. Just got my car back from the shop, all good to go. After 40 days, was glad to see it again. Back story - on my way home from the South Jersey shore 40 days ago (a Sunday), I am in the left hand lane and slow to a stop at a yellow light. About 3 seconds later, I feel the car jolt and feel the accident as it's happening. A fellow with a Dodge Ram with a massive boat hitched to it, for whatever reason, is hauling and first slams my left hand side with the car...then the boat. So much momentum that he completely clears the intersection before he can come to a full stop. With the island divider between north and south, had just enough reaction time/space to swerve to the left. Thank goodness, would've torn my car in half (and probably sent me through the windshield) with that much force square on my rear I'd have to think.

Don't ever get into an accident on a Sunday, if at all possible to avoid. Pretty much 0 rental car places are open, and it sucks. My friends/family helped me get home and I got squared away on Monday, but it's easily the worst time to need a rental on the spot if you live alone/ rely on yourself only day-to-day.

12K in damage. The car is leased, thank freaking goodness, Honda Finance can have fun re-selling this guy at the end of my lease next July. Took forever, but happy to have my own car back. Shop took forever, but did a fantastic job, you'd never know outside of the Carfax report that anything happened. Glad I'm alive, unharmed, and the car's all good.

Sooners -4 1U tomorrow.

I've now been over served. And RN unintentionally made me miss Providence. Of all my the cities I've lived in, I'd take Providence over LA, Denver, Philly and Orlando in a second.

For someone with no intentions on kids or marriage, it's the best. Best food thanks to Johnson and Wales. Best natural wimmens thanks to Italy and Portugal. Laxest laws on hooks. Best chicken salad thanks to Willow Tree.

A fun city for sure.

Haven't watched OU or ND this year. Thoughts on why big on OU? Is it just your standard overrated ND team?
Yeah I don't think ND is any good. If they were they would have slaughtered an awful

Purdue team.

My Wolverines haven't looked good as of late either, so ND's resume to date just doesn't impress me

I would tread lightly on the OU bets.

I think perhaps the ND hate has gone too far...and this is coming from someone who bet against them every week last season and lost his ###.

Getting 4.5 in South Bend? That's good enough for me

OU is a young team and traditionally Stoops teams are exponentially better at home than they are on the road. I think it's a one score game, hoping OU backers are right but I'm off.

Navy/WKU OVER 59

TAMU -13.5

Money came rolling in on Ok St. Even the gameday guys said Blowout.
i'm showing that it's still -20. per vegas insider, that's what it opened at
I got it at 10 and 18.Of course they just gave up a pick 6 that a pop warner team could have stopped, so I'm not liking my chances.
-9 now....not watching but isn't this supposed to be an offense? Lessss go okyst!
Nope. Turns out JW Walsh cant hit a hide open WR for a TD if his life depended on it.

1u on SC -7 @ UCF tomorrow.

SC still has the entire SEC schedule plus Clemson + SECCG. I know they lost to UGA, but if LSU beats UGA tomrrow, USC is right back in the thick of things. Spurrier shines in games like this
they're gonna turn it on in the 2nd half right?

Team on the road down "big" with the Sr Qb dead?

Pass.

Yeah I wasn't adding anything, just wanted to know if they had a chance to come back and cover

Late to the party. Small wagers, saving up for tomorrow after coming up roses on Thursday night.

Like many, I am in on Oklahoma State...-19.5 :bag: , but just for .5 %

Largest play of the day is 1% on ECU/North Carolina Under 60.5

Other .5% plays:

Oklahoma/Notre Dame - Over 50.5

Colorado +11

Southern Miss +28.5

Still looking, and I may add % to the existing bets, particularly Colorado, which has now moved to +12, and +12.5 in some places. It's not all that far-fetched that the Buffs could win that one outright.

Early NFL leans, looking hard at Cowboys -2, NY Jets +4.5, Browns +3.5, Cowboys/Chargers OVER 46, and Eagles/Broncos OVER 58

So far early on....my favorite happenstance today:

Miami/USF 2q over 14 points.

Miami fumbled TWICE on the 1 yard line going in to score(lost both).

USF kicked a 2 yard (2!!!) punt on their own 10. Miami didn't score on the 1st 3 plays, misses a 23 yd FG.

Ends up a push at 14 points....this kinda #### scares me.

Honestly - anyone who tailed on Ok St Im sorry. Jesus they suck. #11 my left foot.
It was mostly my fault for tailing....I didn't check to see who was QBing in WV. Had I know it was going to be Trickett I would have only played the over. Liked that kid at FSU...he's not horrible.

Trickett didn't blow this bet up. JW Walsh did. Turns out he can't throw the ball more then 35 yards down field. He has under thrown 3 WR that were WIDE open for TD's today.

We Move On.

The one thing I don't like about this thread is finding one post among all the hundreds. Anyways, nice call by whoever it was that called Northern Illinois over an awful Purdue team.
