FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (12 Viewers)

On overseas military bases we pretty much had two fast food options: Burger King and Popeyes. I know those menus like the back of my hand. I haven't been to a Popeye's in the five years since moving back to the States, I go to Burger King on my dog's birthday (tradition) and maybe once a year outside that.

I miss Doner Kebab's though, oh do I miss Doner Kebabs.

Just leqving holiday bowl. Qualcomm is the buggest piece of #### nfl stadium I have ever been too what a jole. 27 inch tube tvs in their bar, no big screen, whole place is outdated. Looks like zero money has been put into it in last 20 yrs

I just googled that. Wow, looks fantastic.

The only thing I miss is Krispy Kreme's glazed donuts. They were here in R.I. for a few years, but Dunkin Donuts trucked them like Christian Okoye, and they all closed down. This is firmly Dunkin territory. Idiots.

I would have loved to have switched this ASU football team with that damn Toledo CBB team earlier this evening. You have to love a team in a bowl game walking around like they have no desire to be there, yet this stupid Toledo team has to keep shooting 3s even though the game is out of reach.

And F the 2nd half tt for TT too. It seemed like the right call, just wish ASU would have made it a little more competitive so the Tech team would want to do something the last 20 minutes or so

There is a place in downtown Landstuhl, Germany called New York Doner Kebab's or something like that. I'd give a pinky toe to have one of those right now.

What a terrible day, worst day all year. 1-4 on CFB, 0-3 on CBB.

Oh well, it's only money. I just want to have enough left for Olympic hockey betting.

Doner kebab is a Turkish dish made of meat cooked on a vertical spit, normally lamb but also a mixture of veal or beef with these, or sometimes chicken. The dish is also widely known by its Arabic name "shawarma" or the Greek name "gyros"

Doner Kebab>>Shawarma>>Gyro

I have a Shawarma place a few miles from my house, probably go twice a month and it's great. But it's not a Doner, no sir.

I worked a lot in western Europe a few years ago, they had Doner Kebab places in a lot of the cities I'd work in.

The FREAKING best, and relatively cheap to boot.

I don't have anymore likes to give today, but I would have liked this.

Making it my new life's quest to find a Doner Kebab
Detroit has great Shawarma places, many of them. I'm not a Gyro fan, they are too messy. Shawarmas are too clean, Doners are right in the middle. Plus they use red pepper and lots of onions, which I think makes the difference.

I'm still fuming about that offensive PI and the real PI not called. I mean really?
gamblers have to be like closers, you lose you move on. You win, you move on.

It's always tomorrow, never yesterday. HTH.
