Making it my new life's quest to find a Doner Kebab
Detroit has great Shawarma places, many of them. I'm not a Gyro fan, they are too messy. Shawarmas are too clean, Doners are right in the middle. Plus they use red pepper and lots of onions, which I think makes the difference.
Yeah I've had plenty of schwarma (the one at Park Bar/Bucharest grill in Detroit is the best)

Gonna try for another work trip to Germany...I know there was a Turkish place across from the hotel but didn't get a chance to try it

Bucharest Grill is terrific. Al-Ameers in Dearborn is the best place in the area IMO, I always stop there when I'm home.

Not so fast, I guarantee you there are 4 guys in here kicking themselves for not doing TT moneyline.
i grabbed it, but a little too late in live betting at +175  . I realized i do so much better live betting when I am actually watching the games, need to keep that in mind going forward :grad:

Thank you. Good God. For real though my money was on Texas to get a ML today. Nostalgia and all..

Dan you have been to a lot of foreign countries. China and everything. Walk us through..
Really nothing too exciting

Canada probably 100 times

Japan

Mexico (good strip club story that I'll share next time I'm posting from the PC)

Germany

China x2

Actually a pretty good japan story too...I'll try to get to both of them soon

Oh and in addition to taking a bath on holiday bowl I caught the flu from my wife

I'm still fuming about that offensive PI and the real PI not called. I mean really?
gamblers have to be like closers, you lose you move on. You win, you move on.

It's always tomorrow, never yesterday. HTH.

Watching Wings/Leafs 24/7. Winter Classic less than 36 hours away!!!!!!!!!
Exactly. And this is why you can't get caught up in upping your units/play when on a run, and why everyone grumbles about it when someone does it. It's like karma kryptonite, easy way to go busto. Continuing the analogy, would be the difference between blowing a save in June and Game 7 of the world series.

It was just one of those things.. like _nugs avoiding Weed Country that time. Surprisingly avoiding any spoilers - had to delete a few Conan episodes straight away. Will probably watch.
Grab a gyro and season 1. Give in.

Did you go in Pakistan. That is like above the subcontinent abve the himalayas. As seen on "Spies like us." And body armor like we have seen on the PS3 games.

The AdvoCare V100 Bowl is a post-season NCAA-sanctioned Division I college football bowl game that is played annually at Independence Stadium in Shreveport, Louisiana. It was known as the Independence Bowl prior to 2013, and was so named because it was inaugurated in the United States bicentennial year, 1976.

Advocare Bowl favorite L5 years:
SU: 4-1-0 (4.80, 80.0%)
ATS: 4-1-0 (0.40, 80.0%) avg line: -4.4
O/U: 1-4-0 (-9.00, 20.0%) avg total: 56.2

I gotta try one of these Doners that DD speaks of. GDB reading this thread hungry at 3 am.

Gyros are my favorite food, and you're telling me something is better?! Do they add that Tzatziki stuff to Doners?

RN, as far as trying a gyro, find it at a real Greek spot, don't get it from a pizza joint owned by a Greek. They almost always use frozen slabs of whatever meat.

If you walk in and don't see a spit with a huge cylinder of meat on it, get the pizza instead.

Best gyro I've had is still at Reading Terminal Market in downtown Philly. Zorbas on Fairmount will do in a pinch.

Also, I hate gambling.

I'm on it. A girl I used to work with, her parents own two Greek joints in Coventry. Her folks are right off the boat.

I lived about 6 blocks away from Al-Ameer for a good portion of my life. :headbang: I dont think you will find better Middle Eastern cuisine anywhere in the US than you will in the stretch of Warren Avenue from Wyoming to Greenfield.

im on washington :oldunsure:
only 60 left overall.

Lets. Go. Irish
53 left.

Pretty sure most tomorrow will be split b/w ASU and the Ducks. UT playing their last game for Mack makes me nervous. Think I'll be rolling with the Sun Devils and their gorgeous women
:kicksrock:

A&M -12 1u

Miss St -7 2 u (posted yesterday)

thinking about just playing every under until it loses
:goodposting:

A&M is my big play for the bowl pick em and Miss St is right behind. I think both of these games have a big talent gap and will both be blowouts.

As far as the unders go..... yeah. It can't be ignored anymore.
