FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Tommy Haas -200 2u, this looks like a gift. Haas has lost three in a row otherwise this would be -500/600. Garcia Lopez isnt anything special on hard court and two of Haas' recent losses came against fellow countryman Kohlschleiber who has his number lately.

God bless Tommy Haas for having the deceny, the deceny that Bogo lacked, to quit before finishing that second set. God bless tennis "injuries".

If anyone sees an article about how the books/public did this weekend I'd appreciate you posting it here. It had to be a bad weekend for the books.

Den/NE started -7 @ 5 Dimes

Now down to -4.5
I dont think it opened 7 anywhere. Most were 6, some 6.5.
It was at 7 -110/-110 every so briefly at SB.
Yep, and @ 5 Dimes. Why would I make it up?
5dimes actually opened at +7 -130

bookmaker opened at +7 -110

pinnacle opened at +7 -113

betonline opened at +6.5 -110

No clue what RB opened at, I haven't figured out where they get lines from

ETA: I'll be on Denver again cause I hate money

Why is that? Because of the teasers? Three of the four games went under, that had to help the books . Seahawks/Saints got a lot of pushes I would think, but I don't really understand why it would have been a terrible weekend for the books. Maybe I'm missing something. Because of the Broncos? Did the public bet the Colts heavy? If so, why? That seems odd. :oldunsure:

I saw that everyone and their brother was on SF. But I agree, that is just one game. I would think a lot of people got hosed by DEN yesterday.

FWIW, booked these as soon as lines came out:

NE +6

SF +3.5

Teaser NE+13/SF+10.5

GLTA

AB

Public all over Patriots and 49ers to the tune of 76% and 68% thus far.

Will be interesting to see what happens if the Seahawks get to 3, but it seems a steady stream of money would continue on the Patriots.

Kaepernick is 1-2 SU and 0-3 ATS against Seattle, and the 49ers haven't covered the spread in Seattle since 2008.

Why is Bogo no action my local graded as a loss? also graded Nieminen as a loss

When the 49ers covered the spread in Seattle the last 10 years they have also won SU (3-7-0 SU and 2-7-1 ATS). 10-point SF teasers are 4-6-0 (.400) in Seattle during that same time.

Nieminen definitely won.

Bogo retired after 2 sets. Check your rules on how many sets they need to play to make it official. It varies. My local is a dummy and I had no problem talking him into no-actioning it.

If it's graded as a loss at most online books, we can call it a loss here for records sake.

I'm baffled as to why Nieminen would be grade an L. He won

Looks like the CASRELOAD# promo is done, bummer

hope they do it again next football season, I'll hit it every week, I don't think I started til week 10/18 this year

$7425 of EV($412.50 each week) if you hit all 18 weeks

I did two and think I ended up a bit pre-bonus. Good stuff, and it's fun to play 21 without throwing your money away.

Bogo graded as a loss at SB but a No Action at Bovada for me (BV says in the bet that it will be graded thi sway if either player retires before the match is completed)..

I'm really confused on this bet I placed at Bovada though.

3-team parlay:

Sijsling -190/Janowicz -375/Mayer -325

Graded as a LOSS but shows Mayer winning 3-0 and Janowicz winning 3-2 with Sijsling still to play. WTF kind of operation are they running there?

Janowicz was graded as a loss on bovada. I had to call down the thunder via phone."Sir, you realize this is only a $50 bet"

Thunder blocked...but now graded as a win.

Why do you guys like B.C. so much? I'm on Syracuse.
Just a bad spot for cuse IMO. A few people I respect are also on BC.

Hopefully they win by 9 and everyone's happy
That'd be ideal.

Personally, I expect BC to fall into the trap of hoisting threes all night, like Villanova did against Syracuse in the second half. BC's defense is also pretty terrible, so Syracuse should score enough to cover. IMO, of course.

And along these lines I'd advise everyone to NOT play these. If Frosty jumped on this and chances are a few others did too then Bovada will be looking at who bet what on who.......

I'd stay away.
