FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (9 Viewers)

Villanova -5.5

Oklahoma +4.5
 i was driving around for work today and listening a bunch about Villanova bball. i said to myself, "i'll come out of CBB retirement if Frosty is on Nova tonight too because it sounds like a great spot for them". so here we go....

Mo, is Barao gonna hurt Uriah Saturday?
he should. I'm sure Bang Ludwig has studied the crap out of their last fight though, and that team has really improved a lot under him. I do think Faber's broken rib held him back in the 1st fight, but Barao is better.

OKC/ATL over 205 full, OKC -10 half

usually try to fade in a b2b road situation which Phx is vs 76ers...but man it's hard to back Philly right now and somehow the Suns keep performing.

all for now.

Bummer. I like faber. Bareo looks like a bad bad man. You playing the fight?
maybe, latest i saw Barao was -300 which is too high for my liking right now. A play on Faber wouldn't be terrible, i just don't think he will win. He has looked real good lately, but Barao is better. dude hasn't lost in like 8 years

The 2 defenses their last 2 games each have given up 15,17,16,17, and I don't see the weather helping push that total up any.
Those two Denver games were home games. Denver gave up 21.3 ppg at home this season. But they gave up 27.4 ppg on the road. I agree with Seattle not allowing many points, though. Their linear trend for ppg allowed has decreased consistently all season long, indicating that they were not only the best defense in the NFL, but they actually got better as the season went along:

Check out the linear trendline for Seahawks' opponents' points per game (may have to zoom in). link
I think that only using the teams' last two games is way too narrow of a scope to judge what will happen on Sunday. For example, going back to their L8 games versus the opposing conference, Seattle has averaged 29.9 ppg versus the AFC. Denver has averaged 38.9 ppg their L8 versus the NFC, too, with the L6 of those going over the total.

Ref or someone else...

Do you know your way around company stocks? Specifically stock options vs restricted stock?

My company stock is rapidly starting to vest and I have no idea what anything means. Would like to pm or text with an expert.

You got a full box brohan.

Bruins/Isles O 5.5 -110

Stars -125 (GWN tail)
I do believe you got your swag back, sir.
Well I had a bad Saturday. Stars are losing at the moment though, but that one might be ok.
That was a tail. You can't be held accountable for someone else's F up. Besides, the Stars tied it up.
Yeah but I don't tail stuff I know unless I like it myself. If I post a tail, I'm accountable for that too.

Thanks for the Thunder-Hawks (that would be a cool nickname actually) over. :hifive:

So can someone talk to me here? Pre Conference weekend Denver was going to be a small dog. They win and the money rolls in on them and pushes them to -3 and ends up settling somewhere between 2-3. OK I get it. "The Public" likes Denver.

So if the Public likes Denver that tells me that the Denver O is going to be able to score on the Seattle D and win the game, or at least thats what I think the public narrative is.

The total started at 48.5 quickly went through 48 (an important number) and you can now see 46.5. It's not weather related as far as I can tell. It may be cold but nothing that says winter weather or string winds for sure.

So if the public thinks Denver, and thus the public thinks points why is the total going down?

Seems out of whack to me.
