FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (13 Viewers)

Here's the thing I'm confused about. In Denver's two playoff games, the Broncos ran 70 plays against SD and 71 plays against NE. It seemed to me he was yelling OMAHA most of the time, so why is the total only in the high 20s? And when he didn't say Omaha, did they snap it on silent counts? I really can't recall.
:goodposting: 44 against SD and 31 against NE. Was surprised to see 24.5 at some shops.

Lots of stuff I like tonight, may add another one or two later.

Maple Leafs +107

Red Wings/Flyers OVER 5.5 +105
That flyers game line throws me off. Why are the flyers -145? Any thoughts? I liked them to bounce back, but thought it would be even odds or around therr
Carchidi tweeted they were without Zetterberg, Datsyuk and Franzen, but I only see Bertuzzi and Z scratched.
That's because Franzen and Datsyuk are on the IR
Gotcha, wasn't aware before puck drop.

Nice hit Mo, you called this one on Sat. I still think they get rolled on the upcoming west coast trip. (maybe a chance against LA)

I was going to play the Over. Hope this isn't a catfish by Fox.
Seems kinda weird that Manning is gonna change his terminology in the Super Bowl doesn't it?
He addressed that in the first part of his answer. He said "It's just a word" or something to that effect. There are any number of words they could substitute which wouldn't affect them a bit. But if eliminating 'Omaha' gives Denver even a miniscule edge, miniscule is better than nothing.

Still 5 minutes left in regulation for me in MSU Iowa but wow these refs absolutely ruined this fokcing game. EVERY trip down the floor a foul is called. Stupid %^%$*%*^. I think if you go back and watch there was probably 7 or 8 consecutive possessions with a foul called

How audible do u think what he's yelling is going to be? Those ridiculous numbers from the previous 2 games were both home games where the crowd was dead silent the entire time denver was on offense.

Under all day long for me

The obvious thing that nobody has mentioned yet (maybe because it's obvious :oldunsure: ) is that Denver figures to get far fewer offensive snaps against Seattle than they did against SD and NE, if the Hawks play a punishing, ground-control game like they do against everyone else.

It's always funny to see the wrestling thread at the top of page 1. I had no idea that humans over the age of 13 still watch that crap.

I keep expecting Kentucky to put it all together and morph into a great team instead of just a talented team. Looks like I'm still waiting.

It will be 100% audible. This is the largest production on the planet, mics will be everywhere.

Love that stuff, thanks. One thing I hated about Vegas were the near-destitute local slobs sitting in the sportsbooks all day, spending their last $10 on a 5-team parlay. Doesn't matter which book you go to -- they are everywhere. You can smell the hopelessness and despair a mile away. Not to mention body odor.
"is there a number high enough for how many times Peyton says Omaha? He says it every play!" i'm hoping Fox was speaking the truth in that interview today too, but GR does have me nervous bringing up why would he change it now. And i like the story about Ditka if it is true, good for him if he was trying to get back the books. i just wish these guys would tell us sometimes

"He says it every play".... yet the total is about 27. That doesn't seem fishy to you?

Team to record the first six 1st downs in the game.

This has to be DEN, no? It's a first down machine.

Hard to keep up in here, but can someone recap the thread's expert picks on props for the SB as we get into the weekend? Would like to sweat the best ones. Tia.

I assume you are paying some juice on that: http://www.sportingcharts.com/nfl/stats/team-first-downs-per-game/2013/
-140Feels like such a good bet. You know Manning is going to look to dink n' dunk these guys into oblivion.
Sounds right. My only worry would be that Seattle gets the ball and proceeds to get a ton of 1st downs on the first drive, trying to set a smash-mouth tone.

Yeah that's not the part I'd worry about....if the crowd is loud manning isn't going to use it because his teammates won't hear it. An extreme example would be if Denver was playing in seattle, manning could yell omaha til he's blue in the face but no one's gonna hear it.

I know it's the super bowl so the crowd noise won't be insane but it's not going to be anything like him playing in Denver.

How great would have it been to hold a Fridge TD prop ticket at 70-1?

Wonder how true that is about Ditka hating Vegas.

Last time Peyton won a playoff game away from home was Super Bowl XLI in 2007. He is 3-6 SU and ATS in playoff games away from home with 8 TD and 11 INT. His team averages 16.7 points per game in playoff games away from home.

Cal 0-2 L2 but to my refined action junkie eye, nothing really pops - no weird line movement or anything. Grasping at straws when I say Sagarin says this should be Cal -1.2 and Dunkel says it should be Cal -3. ASU 0-2 L2 away, but they beat USC away, and USC beat Cal a week ago. It's the only game I get to see today and should be home in time to bet it so I can get my wagering fix straight to the brain.

So on one of the gambling forums I post at there is a guy who supposedly invited the "time of nat anthem" prop and he use to set the time for the books for a few years. His analysis this yr is 2:22.

I already have over 2 25 on bovada, wish I grabbed the 2 23 that is out there on others then under on bovada. That fact that he is in range tho makes it a toss up imo tho

Islanders/Rangers OVER 5.5 +105 -they have played twice, 8 goals in each game and it's the sight lines and not the ice that was the issue when the Rangers put up 7 goals in Yankee Stadium on Sunday

Blackhawks -120
