according to NFL.com, Trevathan is at 9 tackles and M.Smith is at 5.

I'm pretty sure Smith had a special teams tackle earlier that might be left out of that number right now. So that might bump him up to 6 (which would suck!) but hopefully Trevathan can hold onto the 3 tackle lead here at least.

as I typed this, Trevathan just went up to 10 to give him a cushion.

Then I got an email from Frosty asking for my thoughts on Smith. I looked into it, thought it was a strong play, and loaded up. Then this happens (and of course the bets are at RB so I'll have to mail Kurt another fat check).

so stupid.

Still cleaned up most everywhere else today I think.

why do you think this though?

My numbers show only 18% of all tackle opportunities were awarded assists during games played in Denver this year. I had them ranked as basically a bottom-5 crew in the league (in terms of how few tackles they give out) and a clear UNDER play for most tackle props.

This game looked nothing like the Denver crew to me.

If I had to guess, it was the Giants crew. My numbers had them ranked #2 in terms of tackles awarded per play during the season.

I think that might only be tackles on defense but I'm pretty sure Smith had one on special teams while covering a punt.

Ahhhh, thats right. I was confusing Denver scorekeepers with Cincy for some reason. So it remains a mystery. Sure as hell looked like the Bills or Bengals keeper.
