FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (4 Viewers)

Can someone post Baseball Futures Odds for this coming year and from what book they are from?

TIA

MLB World Series
Thanks gmbacm, much appreciated!

I know this is some major homerism and I don't usually do that with the Brewers, but I think they will surprise this year. +8000 to in it all is worth a shot.

They have a good pitching staff, Braun will be back, Davis is primed for a good year in LF, one of the top Offensive and Defensive Catchers in Lucroy.

I don't know, I just have a feeling..........

New rule (it's my first year working on these with my brother so we are constantly tweaking rules): No more point overs when the line is really high (like over 15). Too much can go wrong, including being on the right side of a blowout. Exceptions: vs. good teams with terrible defenses (Iowa State, for example).
Like it, I will very very rarely take RB's WR's anything over right around 80 yards, same with receptions over 6

I think we've finally learned that one after tonight, losing two overs (assuming no miracle over from Bell) at 17.5 because the team won by too much (against a terrible defense, hence the overs). Stick with me as we refine our technique the rest of the season because we are going to kill it next year. KILL IT. :like:

howd u do today I only took the Pitt guys on unders and split

I tail alot during hoops season and don't post much as a result, but I am playing Cleveland +8 tonight in Detroit. They look worlds better since firing the GM. Not sure how that is possible but Bennett is playing like the Cavs thought he could and they are acually playing with some focus and intensity.

Washington U 2nd Half Over 38 -110

They haven't scored less than 55 all year.

hold up, that's not 55 that's 65. oh well they avg 74.1 ppg - that was a 10-point math error though

avoiding cognitive dissonance - they scored less than 65 in six games this year (21%)

4-4, -1.7u.

It's actually not bad considering I lost a 2u play since Zanna turned into Jesus (shuttlesworth) and lost an under on a 35-footer at the buzzer, plus the Parker rebs play was my strongest play of the day (other than Zanna). I'm ok with the loss because I really feel like I learned some valuable lessons.

Dwyane Wade (migraine) will return to the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Warriors.

It's official for Wade and he should play without restriction. He leds all qualifying guards in shooting percentage and is scoring 18.7 points per game. The Heat have been able to win a lot of his 14 games out and will look to end their first half on a high note with him.

40 minutes later

Dwyane Wade (foot) was a late scratch and will not play against the Warriors on Wednesday.

I have no idea how Chris Bosh averages 16.6 PPG. His low-post game is absolutely brutal to watch. It literally must be the result of 8 dunks per game off of LeBron's lane penetration.

Yeah...no. He's decent at the low post but not from the 5, where he's starting. His mid range shot is efficient which draws the defender out and he's good enough to drive by most of his defenders. Low post back to the basket, not so much.

I must just happen to catch every game where he looks like the worst player in the NBA.

"Pass into Chris Bosh.... poked away."

"Pass into Chris Bosh... gets his pocket picked."

"Pass into Chris Bosh... throws it away."

Rinse and repeat. The guy should wear a mask when he gets his paycheck.

Nugs what is the biggest arena you ever played basketball in?
I once played a high school baseball game (3x) in the same stadium where the Saint Paul Saints play. Does that count considering I'm not Nugs nor am I referring to the sport you're asking about?
Sounds kinda cool..

Over the past two decades, the Saints have developed their own unique brand of baseball, complete with pigs that deliver baseballs to umpires, a nun who gives massages in the outfield, and mimes who perform instant replays.

So, is there seriously still a market for psychic readings? Just saw a TV ad for one. I love it, "She knew names of my friends, it was amazing!" I mean, you're giving them a name and CC, if have to think they have your background info and Facebook page up before you are even connected. Right?

Some of the gyms we played in in HS were in small towns throughout central Texas. Gyms built way back in the '50s.
In south central Florida there were mostly old barns and cafeterias that we played in. Tallahassee Civic Center was the biggest building I played hoops. I played football in a stadium roughly the size of doak campbell ;)

And doc, the balls I palm wouldn't fit in the rim......wait.
