My first thought is it's going to take a superstar effort by Quick to keep this under. Russians play wide open and these are two extremely fast teams, and the Russians have tremendous offensive skill with Datsyuk, Malkin, Kovalchuk, Radulov, and Ovie. I think it's a 4-3 or 5-3 game. In the medal round maybe teams play tighter, don't see it on Saturday.

yup. could have predicted it would happen. took the Lakers when "they had the largest lead of the game". as long as lakers don't win by a few the damage will be minimal

By some coincidence the last time the DC metro had a ton of snow, were the last winter Olympics and I was in advanced school at Fort Meade. We had an entire week off, and although that somewhat sucked because I was away from home (lived in Texas), I did get to watch all the games. I'm not sure if I like the World Cup or the Olympic hockey tourney more, but I do like time off when they are happening.

I was looking for a Czech Rep line because Brasky loves them tomorrow, but SB has -2.5 -125 which I don't like (greek has nothing posted). Brasky likes the Swiss FWIW, I think Swedes have too much special teams prowess and the Swiss have trouble scoring at all. Under doesn't look half bad either, but I think only two games have gone under thus far.
