UEFA Champions League

Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid 1st Leg

Barcelona is at home in this 1st leg matchup and is -230 in this matchup on the ML and -125 as -1 against the spread

ATL Madrid's highest scorer is listed as DOUBTFUL with a leg injury and their 2nd highest scorer is OUT serving a suspension.

I wanted to jump on the over 2.5 on this match up but am fearful Barcelona gets up 1-0 and settles for a 1-0 or 2-0 victory if ATL Madrid can't get a goal in.

ATL Madrid holds 1pt lead over Barcelona in their regular league for the title

Barcelona's next game is against the worst team in the league and ATL Madrid's next game is against the 6th best team.

I could see ATL Madrid keeping a closer eye on the La Liga league standings with a more difficult road to keep their 1pt lead.

I'm going ML line on Barcelona.
As a Barca supporter and a guy who probably watches 30-35 Barca matches a year, I can say pretty definitively that they won't settle for 1-0/2-0. If there are holes available, they're going to attack them. And they still have to go back to Madrid for the second game, there's no lead too big IMO.

But: ATM has figured out how to grind Barca to a halt though by mucking up the game and playing physical in the midfield. The last three games have gone under the 2.5, so I'm going to roll with it at the dog price.

Barcelona/Atletico Madrid under 2.5 +110

Very fair points.

Goals are very valuable.

The Lakers beat the Blazers at their house on Mar 3, and the Blazers are 9-0 SU and 8-1 in revenge games versus sub-500 teams this season, averaging 115 ±14 points in those nine games (O/U 7-2). They won and covered -10.5 at Philadelphia on Dec 14, but aside from that game they haven't given this many points on the road since Apr 7, 2010. Since the trade the Lakers are 6-5 SU and ATS at home, but 2-3 SU and ATS versus winning teams: Clippers, Thunder, Spurs, Wizards, Suns. They scored 94, 114, 109, 107, 115 against those respective teams. This is also the highest total the Blazers have seen on the road this season. The Lakers have won and covered their L3 home games.

Looking good for the under.

3 yellows to ATL also help

Let's lock this up at 1-0 :hifive:

Cleveland helped right the ship last night ..

Chalk Tuesday Cross Sport Parlay:

1 units pays 5.25:

TB Rays - 170

Tex Rangers - 140

Blues -195

Coyotes - 195

also on ATL +108

May add one or two later.. still contemplating.

A lot of guys playing a lot of baseball bets this early in the season. Stop being so excited and slow down! And I say this with peace and love, peace and love

I don't even want to mention how much I have on the Sharks tonight. Probably my biggest bet in 3 years.

:scared:

SJ has been slumping, but they are rested (off since Saturday) and they need to win for playoff positioning. The Oilers have injuries and they've had the bus backed up for a week.

Hope you're right I'm chasing big time after the MLB dumpster fire I was in the middle of today.

Also went back for more on the over 5.5 (even).

A hedge of sorts. If Edmonton pulls the upset, it will be because they score 4 goals. SJ has to put at least 3 on the board in this spot.

Btw... What are we doing with our Wisconsin futures against this team I keep fading and they keep killing me? A f'n 3? Seriously...

There was one bit of good news about the Rays bet.... I went back for $500 more at 7:09, and I got shut out. Must have missed first pitch by a few seconds.

Not sure if that will make the rest of you feel any better, but I sure am happy.

Just re-upped for the new season at MLB.TV. :banned:

Make sure you turn off your VPN if you have one.
So good. Way better than the cable packages you can get.
Hell yeah. $110 is a freakin bargain for 162 games for every team. Beautiful HD quality too, just like the NHL package. Connect the laptop to an HDTV with an HDMI cable and you're in bidness.
DirecTV is $200 w/no discount for the season, but now includes MLB.TV Premium as a throw-in. Probably going to pull the trigger on this, hoping to get some discounts to lighten the load.

I have $200 on UK to win it all at 40-1, and $500 on Florida at 11-2.

Currently Florida is showing anywhere from even to even slightly worse. Wisky is hovering around 4-1, UConn around 13-2. Do I just throw ~600 each on UConn and Wisky? In that case, my worst outcome is Florida wins it all and I am up $1250.

Conversely, I could simply hedge both games and take Wisky and UConn for ~600 each on the money line, then go from there depending on the results.

Thoughts?

Is 700$ life changing money to you? You're holding the absolute nuts you'd be insane to hedge!

Agreed. It's going to take runner- runner to complete a straight draw to lose.

Hey guys. PSA. I am filling out the form for the 5d withdrawl and came across this info: Only Visa cards under the account holder's name are allowed to deposit. Transactions processed using third party cards are deemed as high risk and will ban your account and personal information from future credit card deposits.

You have to provide them picture ID and a cpoy of the CC, along with a form with your personal info and handwritten CC# and expiry date, plus your sig, before they will pay you.

If you pick up the WesternUnion prepaid card they will send you one in the mail with your name on it which should suffice. Thanks for pointing this out.
