All you can do is laugh. No point in getting upset. The first two nights, there was a goal every 4.8 seconds. When I finally jump on the over train, someone built a brick wall in front of every net. We move on.....

Let's try a nice fat SQUARE parlay tonight.... A's/Dodgers.

I like it. I'm all over some SA teams to win: Chile, Colombia, Uruguay, I read somewhere that the "home continental advantage" is about half of what "home country advantage" is, but that's still fairly significant. And that no European team has ever won a Cup held in South America. I'm also going to fade Brazil at some point late in the tourney, just because Alves is so brutal.

But Belgium doesn't have any SA teams in their group, and SK and Algeria are weak sisters. The only thing I'd suggest is taking Belgium outright to beat Russia at -105, as that game will likely decide the group winner.

I also think Belgium might be one of the most fun teams to watch in the tourney.

Agree. I like the Belgium/russia thought.

I think a SA team wins this but just seems it's Brazils to lose.

 
Jarred Cosart won in Oakland on August 14, 2013 as a +254 dog. The Astros are 2-0 lifetime in his starts vs Oakland giving up 1 ER in 13 inn pitched.

Their lineup last year was equally as bad. I wouldn't expect Houston to score much, but Cosart is good enough to win a gross game. I would always consider +200 for someone who is 2-0.
