No disrespect to Cosart in the least, but the Astros' lineup is a joke. Gotta put my money where my keyboard is.

 
One good thing you can say about the Astros: They lead the league in HR/FB. And Springer!

Downside: They K a ####### ton, and they don't really hit many line drives.

 
Got this number with Posey and Morse out. Ross has been allowing a lot of baserunners. And like I mentioned yeaterday this total of 6.5 or less is 10-1 to the over L11 with these two teams at Petco. Cheers fellas.

I kind of like letting Bourn swing away, actually, given that he's solid against lefties. Santos has been all over the ####### place this year, there's no sense in handing that guy an out.

Although I have been against him in all 4 starts, I never bet a game just based on a SP (for or against). I view Hutchison as a very mediocre pitcher (neither a fade or support guy), and he's been pretty mediocre (Tor 2-2 in his starts, 3.6 era, .269 baa, 1.45 whip etc etc etc). Better luck to us next time :thumbup:

 
Cosart becomes the 55th SP since 2000 to give up at least 7 runs in less than an inning. Some good company, though: Mussina, Glavine, Cueto.

Bourn did attempt to bunt on an 0-1 count. It was a pretty bad attempt, kinda just stabbed at the ball and completely missed. 1-12 on the year going into that at-bat, I probably would have preferred him to bunt all 3 strikes if needed, but completely agree in Santos being a bag of ####.

 
Cosart won as a +300 dog last vs. TB and +254 dog last year vs Oakland. He represented a lot of value to me and won me some decent money last year. There has always been good value with him because he plays on a ####ty team. Don't really have a problem with him getting trucked tonight.
