FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (6 Viewers)

Could I get your thinking on the Stars play, please?

I'll probably end up tailing the Frosty over, but the only thing that worries me is where the juice has been heading. Opened at 8 over -115. Then moved to 8 under -115. Now at 8 under -125. The wind appears to be minimal, so it's probably just Tanaka hype.

Clips got absolutely destroyed, wow. Did some of that feel like a residual effect from the Sterling situation? The game was over after 1Q.

Not much to it. Home teams are 5-0 in the series and I like the desperate home team at even money. Apart from the third period last game, Stars are hanging with the Ducks. I don't know if it's worth an RN sized bet or anything.

Wanna know the truth? There's so many damn games going on, I didn't realize the Stars were playing at home. :bag:

I wouldn't have even questioned the play had I known.

Re: the baseball game. The more I dig into all of the starts for both pitchers this season, I have no idea how these teams are gonna get to 8 runs. Which of course means you can put the 7-5 final in ink.

Total down to 7.5 now. I wasn't the only one thinking this.

Took the Angels +1.5 (-130). Pitching duel expected, total dropping, away team bats 9 times guaranteed. Let's take a shot.

Didn't really know where to start looking, so.. Houston 7-2 O/U lined between 0 and 3.5 away. And Portland 8-2 O/U lined between 0 and -3.5 at home. And the L5 between these two teams have gone over in Portland (6-1 since 2012). Just looking at a bunch of different scenarios with revenge games, Portland at home, etc.. this is set pretty good at 214 and makes sense. The total just keeps going over with these two teams. And there's the good possibility of overtime. On the other hand, if you want to fade it, take solace in the fact that it looks like this has been an even 214 all day - and I always assumed the public liked to play overs so the book should have pretty good action on the over yet the hook still ain't there. Action junkie playyy

Over 214 -105

There was zero chatter about this game when it was going on. Did you guys see it? Can I share, please? I really, really need to share.

Yanks go to the bottom of the 8th, tied 2-2. For some reason, the Angels bring in some jackass who bounces between the big club and Triple-A in Salt Lake City. If they get two runs, I am probably toast because Robertson has been lights-out and Anaheim had the bottom of the order due up.

Walk

Walk

Wild pitch

Passed ball

Hit batter

:wall: :wall:

I am ready to start murdering people. Bottom line, Soriano comes up with 1st & 3rd and ONE out. Yanks already lead 3-2. If he even hits a sac fly, I lose the Angels +1.5. If he hits a home run, I lose the Angels bet and the under. Routine 6-4-3 double play!!! PAY ME BITCHES!

Awesomeness all around. My favorite team wins, my bets win, and I go to bed a happy boy just as soon as I find something tug-worthy.

:banned:

Apologies if that was bad timing. The thread seems to be having a bad night. Didn't mean to grave-dance ... I was just stoked.

I lose all the time, too -- it's just not as much fun to post those. ;)

Can we get a foul and only one make? :(

MnMce...this is why we love saw.

Frosty what's the joke protocol if someone actually resides in said mothers basement? Tia

nugs, doesn't look like either team is in too much foul trouble, other than Lopez being gone. You give an edge in live betting to either team the rest of the way?

Portland-I hate Houston's offense late in the game.I have Houston +150 from pregame so maybe I'm miffed they choked.

Na, I just like that Portland has 5 scoring options. Houston uses only 2.

If you watched most of this or any Houston game-they play loose and fast, open guy takes the shot. Late in the game, OT they tend to pound the ball with Harden/Howard. Portland has closers all across the floor, quick passing and match up problems for Houston.

dunno.

Okay, I'll admit it. This is kind of exciting. :bag:
it's funny, i don't even know who is playing in jalf of these games. All i know and see is some old white, rich guy said something racist. I think it is great that people are surprised some old, rich, white guy is racist

Our boy used to sit next to Donald Sterling at Clippers games. That is what this tweet is referencing:

Haralabos Voulgaris ‏@haralabob

@JFYtown there were some uncomfortable moments, like when he was calling Dickau “dickhead’ ... get “dickhead out of the game”

Soccer in Italy today...

Juventus @ Sassuolo

Juventus is the top team and nearing clinching the title

Sass is at the bottom and tied for regulation status

Sass has played 5 games against the top 6 in Italy at home, this last game being against Juv.

In those 5 home games they are yet to score a goal.

They have lost

0-2

0-2

0-1

0-7

0-2

Juv has played 17 road games and allowed 13 road goals including 9 road shutouts.

Obv Juv wins this game but that costs you -280

You can do the -1.5 goals at +125 for good value but as dirty as it seems, I am going to bet the under 2.5 for Ev

If Sass scores a goal this will lose, heck if Juv scores an early goal it probably loses.
I am banking on Juv taking a 1-0 lead and just letting their D do what it does best.

Juv also has an important Europa semifal Leg 2 game against Benfica on Thursday.

Gave back more than I would I have liked yesterday but still a solid week of profit. Onward we go. This is a great thread

My only concern is Sass is fighting for their regulation life and may be going all out trying to score and potentially leaving themselves open in the back too many times

Maybe a quick 2 goals demoralizes them and Juv can just hold down the fort

Gallardo is just 1-11 with a 6.46 ERA in 17 career starts against the Cardinals. In eight of those starts, he failed to make it out of the fifth inning.
And no Braun and probably no Segura.

Cardinals -150

Over 3.5 runs

Word of caution on Newcastle, they're getting some players back today IIRC, I don't think they'll be as helpless as they've been in recent weeks. That said, Arsenal's also gotten considerably more healthy.
