FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (6 Viewers)

Oh good an injured pitcher and a bunch of k's in their last inning on unders

DUMB
Altuve got hurt, you've been looking for that for a while.
Jose Altuve was removed from Friday's game against the Rangers in the sixth inning due to discomfort in his neck.
The severity of the injury remains unclear at the moment. Look for the Astros to provide an update on his status shortly. He was hitless in three at-bats before departing.

Dang, I can still tail with the best of them.

Thanks boys. I do appreciate the little bits of fun I join in on. Sorry I didn't post my Dota2 plays in this thread, I had the winner nailed.

I was really trying to avoid being the first person to ask, but...

If anyone is looking for a lean on something to bet on tonight, I'd look Rams 1h. Game is on NFLN. I haven't seen a line on SB yet, but Brees won't be playing and neither will Evans or Grubbs on the Oline. Also, Greg Williams, new DC for STL, will likely bring it sending a message in his first game.

FWIW, I took STL 1H -1 for a half unit.
I paid the $1.25 and took em straight up
;)

There was this dude in my town. He was our hero. John Groesh. He got a lot of ladies, and for a small town that was a good thing, important. He ran for local office in our town and won. He was actually the mayor for a while before he left for college. He was our hope. He was like our great white hope. Before you knew it he was off to Cambridge University and got his degree, along with a Master's Degree at another Ivy League college. I think he cured a disease. But then he dropped off the map. After that I was in San Antonio. Have you ever been to the San Antonio Zoo. I was with a lady. I was with a lady and her friend, so I was there with two ladies and we went to Sea World. We went to Sea World and guess who I saw. It wasn't John Groesh, it was an attendant, but he directed me to the young dolphin tank, where John Groesch was working, feeding the young dolphins. I was appalled. I said, "John Groesch, we were so proud of you. You let us down. You let a whole town down." All he said was that he thought he was serving a youthful porpoise.

Where's my Saturday Sharps!
Off to a wedding. Cheers, gents! :banned:

Friday was a better night for sharps on their most aggressive plays, as Buffalo covered the early numbers on the road at Carolina with a one-week head start, and the Over in Philadelphia/Chicago was never in doubt. The general tendency to play ALL of the “Overs” is still under water for the Preseason, and was lucky to go 3-3 last night (late TD from Carolina prevented 2-4). But, the biggest Over moves in Kansas City and Chicago represented a pair of fireworks shows.Let’s see what the Wise Guys have been betting in Saturday Night’s Grand Slam of pro football action…

CLEVELAND AT DETROIT: Money has been coming into the markets on underdog Cleveland, with an opener of +2.5 down to just +1. But, a lot of that is “square” money from the public betting on Johnny Manziel. The rookie from Texas A&M won’t get the start. But, you longtime watchers of exhibition action knows the #2 QB usually gets extended time in the August opener. Some sharps did bet +2.5 to take position against projected public sentiment…allowing them to come back over the top on Detroit if they so desire. Monitor this one throughout the day. The public wants Cleveland…so many move toward Detroit would be sharp. The Over/Under is up two points in post places from 37.5 to 39.5 as we go to press. There are hints that it could go as much as a point higher. Once gain this is a mix of sharp and square money because the public likes betting Overs. Sharps who liked the Over got in at 37.5 and 38. You can watch this game live on the NFL Network this evening.

PITTSBURGH AT NY GIANTS: The Giants opened at -2, and are now -2.5. It’s a telling statement about the sharps general skepticism about NYG that a team with a head start ISN’T getting hit by the Wise Guys! You’ll recall the sharps bet big against Eli Manning and company last week. They’re not betting them much here, even under a key number like three. Sources tell us that the move from -2 to -2.5 is from longtime bettors who play the “head start” angle every season. Sharps aren’t on the Giants, and would reportedly come in on Pittsburgh if they see a three. The total is up from 36 to 37, consistent with the “play every Over” mentality of a segment of sharps this week.

GREEN BAY AT TENNESSEE: Tennessee has been bet from -1 to -2, though we are seeing some push against the two as those preferring the dog think it’s the best they’re going to get. Not much interest in this matchup according to our sources. The total has risen from 37 to 38, with some stores showing 38.5

HOUSTON AT ARIZONA: Sharps have shown support for the new head coach in this road dog spot, as Houston +3 is now down to Houston +2. Part of that is the tendency to take +3 when it’s offered as a general rule unless there are reasons the dog should be avoided at all costs. The benefit of a “new coach, new attitude” scenario with Bill O’Brien is influencing sharp betting according to our sources. This Over/Under is only up a half-tick or a point, which may be meaningful because it’s a soft move in what’s been more of a raging Over river through the week. Some Under money must be stalling the Over flow.

Just started season 1 of boardwalk empire. So far I'm liking it.
starts out decent and gets progressively worse, i'd invest my time watching a different tv show.
Starts out good in season 1. It gets great on season 2. Then it proceeds to take a flaming dump on your bedroom set the rest of the series.
Is this true? I'm halfway through season 3. But have been watching it sparingly.

Kuroda over 4 -140 Loser

Buehrle over 3.4 -140 Winner

Kendricks under 4.5 -115 Winner

Price under 7.5 -110Winner
