What are we doing with football tonight?
I too would like to wager on some preseason football tonight. Thoughts?
Eminence says to bet on the better team.

The guy on "Money Talks" says to take UNDERS, because you are winning when the game begins.

Fixed your post, smarty pants.

College and NFL action starting in less than two weeks. Get on board with your boy Steve Stevens for the 2014 season and start winning with the Bookie -Killer himself (myself). All I do is pick winners, baby! Experience what it's like to win big on all your College and NFL action all season long with my owners picks, hand selected by me, Steve Stevens. You're bookie will be handing you more money than you could ever spend once you get down with my picks.

Give me a call when you're ready to win big, baby! 877-220-6540. Watch my show Money Talks on CNBC, give me a call, and I'll make you a believer in no time!

Is this show really still on tv? Reruns to fill in blank summer hours? It wasn't picked up for a second seasons was it?

That time of year again. RB has many great customers right here in the FFA Wagering Thread. Once again in celebration of RB's 15th year in operation out of San Jose, Costa Rica, it is time to offer up the free comps. With appreciation, current footballguys once again receive a 200 comp by sending a PM or preferably email to me at kurt.howard@cox.net with "200 comp" in the subject line. Any new customers that would like to try out RB this football season will receive a 250 comp. Just send a PM or email with "New 250 Comp" in the subject line. Will also send full rules and information along with a list of many references upon request. As always, no deposit required. Best of luck this football season. www.realbettors.com
Public service announcement for anyone new reading this thread. Kurt is one of the easiest guys to deal with, much simpler than any of the offshore books. I usually post a recommendation every year around this time. He's a fantastic out to have if you're betting on sports. I don't have many winning months but I've had a few and he's always paid on time. I think back in the day I even had a 10k+ month and it was delivered right on time. I've recommended him to a few friends and none of them have had any problems.
You are a good man, Lump. Likely an extra 25 in comp cash for ya. lol.

FYI to all those who have contacted me. Your comps will hit your accounts this weekend. Enjoy the games, boys.

Kurt has many positives. The only two negatives have beenmentioned already -

1. no NCAA props

2. The futures odds are flat out awful

He gets My recommendation as well.
You guys don't be hesitant to hit me up with suggestions or make recommendations if you see room for improvement. What NCAA props are you interested in? Also what is it you don't like about the futures odds? Email me with what is on your minds. I can make recommendations. For those of you that would like to be able to bet the triple crown horse races, I have made some progress there.

taking a stab at Philly +1.5 1st half. My guess is they want to look better then they did last week and might put a little more effort into it as opposed to New England who really doesn't give much of an F about pre-season. really not based on much beside the need for an action play

Maclin looking like he might not play, change your outlook on 1h?

Some one else could help me with questions but I sign up and get $250 to play with? What else is needed from my end with direct relation to the website provided?

Just go into the games and click what I want to bet on and so forth, I presume. Interested in emailing oukurt but just checking what the initial process might be.

Once you email Kurt, he will ask you for some basic contact info. and explain how the site works. It is a credit site so while he will give you $250 to start off with, there's nothing to stop you from playing more if you lose that. The only caveat is that you must win enough to where you are up at least $500 at the end of a calendar month before you will see any cash. Again, Kurt will explain this in the email.

it didn't at that time. But i got home and have seen the last 5-6 plays and remember why betting pre-season football sucks.

ETA: If Eagles CB Curtis Marsh steps on to the field during any game in the regular season, immediately go to live betting and take either the over or whoever the Eagles are playing.

Taking a flier on Pitt to win the acc coastal at +2800
I like it and seem to recall some positive discussion about this play on the OTL podcast recently. Miami and UNC are getting too much love, and beyond that, this division looks like a crapshoot. It seems crazy that Pitt's odds at RB are longer than godawful UVA's too.

I won some $$ in a poker game the other day so I threw small coin on some futures, which is firmly against my creedo; but it was literally $21

$10 on Saints to in the SB - 15:1

$10 on LSU to win the NC - 25:1

$1 for the field to win the NC - 100:1

UNC IMHO - but not a bad bet either.

Oh, definitely not a lock but at those odds I threw $25 to win $700 down at RB-which at +2800 are the best odds on that particular bet that i've seen. At 5dimes the same bet is +900, betus its +1800, sportsbetting it's not available but Pitt to win the ACC is only +3300 (+5000 at RB, +4500 sportsbook). RB-giving the best futures odds available, nice!

My buddy at the gym sent me a link to the personal trainer/nutritionist, gym rat, "It's Okay She's Just My Stepmom 13," woman who works out at my gym of her doing her first video. This has been a really weird last couple of days.

Let's do some action junkie baseball later.

Saturday Sharps

GREEN BAY AT ST. LOUIS:

Sharps are sure expecting a lot of points here! An opener of 40 is all the way up to 42.5 or 43 as we go to press. This is an indoor game, and we can expect aggressiveness from both offenses. St. Louis has been bet up from an opener of -1.5 to -2.5. Some stores have tested three. We would expect a tug-of-war between the favorite at -2.5 and the underdog at +3 if more stores make that move. The Wise Guys do like the Rams at less than a field goal.

NY GIANTS AT INDIANAPOLIS:

New York got strong sharp support at the opener of +3. Were now seeing +2 in most places, with some stores testing +1.5. Thats telling that money continues to come in on a ROAD team even after the game moved off the critical number. Sources suggest that the Giants head start is playing a role hereas this is the third game for Eli Manning and his new offense against only the second game for the Colts. The Over/Under is up from 40 to 41, influenced by the expectation that New York will be more comfortable with its West Coast offense as they continue to learn it.

BALTIMORE AT DALLAS:

Big move here to Baltimore, as weve flipped favorites. Dallas went up on the board at -2 in its home opener. Baltimore is now the favorite at -1. Were hearing that sharps dont like what theyre seeing in Cowboys camp given Tony Romos balky back and other issues with the team. You know Dallas was rocked by San Diego last week. The Wise Guys thought the wrong team was favored in this environment. The total is up from 40 to 42 or even 42.5 as sharps continue to expect Overs unless theres overwhelming evidence that scoring WONT happen.

NY JET JETS AT CINCINNATI:

Were seeing a tug-of-war here between Cincinnati -3 and NY Jets +3.5. But, its actually a fairly soft tug-of-war consisting of value bets around the key number. Three isnt quite as meaningful in the Preseason, so the bets in and around the number arent as aggressive unless theres true passion about one of the teams. Wise guys just taking value here. The Over/Under is up from 40.5 to 41.5. Oddsmakers were already guarding against Over sentimentbut theyve only partially been able to stem the tide of Over money.

BUFFALO AT PITTSBURGH:

Almost an exact replica of NY Giants at Indianapolis here. A home team opened at -3, but a visitor whos played an extra game gets hit hard by the Wise Guys because of that head start toward sharpness. Were now seeing Buffalo +2.5 or +2 in most stores at press time. Notice that there WASNT any buyback on Pittsburgh after the drop, even near the key number. We finally have an Over/Under that didnt move! The opener of 40 is still available in many placesthough some stores have made tweaks toward the Over. These two teams only made it to 38 and 36 last week.

MIAMI AT TAMPA BAY:

Some interest in Tampa Bay, as an opener of -2 is up to -2.5. But, there wasnt enough passion to push the line to the full field goal. Were hearing that sharps would come in strong on Miami if the number did go that high. The Wise Guys are expecting a defensive struggle. The opening total of 37.5 is VERY low for this week. Some places are even going with 37. Both teams only scored 10 points last week. And, you know Lovie Smith (new coach at Tampa Bay) emphasizes defense.

ATLANTA AT HOUSTON:

Surprising given how badly they played last week, Houstons been bet from an opener of -2 up to -3 at home against the Falcons. That may be because Atlanta was so shaky after the first quarter in an ugly 16-10 win over Miami. Sharps do pay attention to quarterback rotations and second half intensity. Houston BETTER improve off last weeks debacle at Arizona. Sharps liked the Texans at anything below a field goal. The total has largely stood pat at 40.

ARIZONA AT MINNESOTA:

Interesting developments here. Minnesota was bet up from -2.5 to -3. But, there are now game-day indications that Wise Guy money is still coming in on the Vikingspushing the number to -3.5 in some spots. It takes money to move off a three, even in August. So, sharps werent just betting the -2.5 for valuemany do like the Vikings even at the full field goal. The opening total of 38 has been bet up to 39 or 39.5 in some places.
